Mr. Chef Mouse Recipe Card

Hello everyone and Happy Tuesday to all! Todays Recipe Card was designed for The Scrapping Cottage using the DARLING Mr. Chef Mouse Cottage Cutz.
I thought this cottage cutz was perfect for a Recipe Card, and the design paper too. Mr. Chef Mouse was cut out with grey, green, white card stock. I dusted the apron and cap with tim holtz distress ink. the bowl was colored with copics, and so was his bow tie, and shoes.

I had my daughter print out a recipe from my computer in my craft room and bring it up to me :) i then added the name of the recipe and the ingredients to the front and the directions to the back. The bows are made with Really Reasonable Ribbons Satin  The design paper is DCWV paper pack

The back is plain but normally i add the directions to the back of my cards and these are super simple ones....hehehehehe so there is lots of room for larger directions.

  Challenges:

Mr.Chef Mouse & Snowlady Chef

Hello everyone, today's post is for The Scrapping Cottage using these DARLING cottage cutz. Sorry I dont have a project to share today, iv'e been really sick since Friday night and haven't felt like crafting or doing much of anything.
I think these sweeties would look DARLING on Recipe Cards, so im thinking for my next Cottage Cutz post I will have a recipe card to share with you all.
First up is Snowlady Chef-
I cut all her pieces out with a wide column card stock, thats what gives the lines in her. Next I distressed her with a blue ink, for her apron i distressed with a pink and same for her cupcake top. The heart, bottom of apron, holly berry, cupcake wrapper, and wooden spoon are all colored with copics. Her pan hat is colored with 3 different grey copic markers. Lastly I added some stickles to her pearls and the cupcake icing.

I used Tim Hotlz distress inks for most of his highlighting, the bow, bowtie, and spatula i colored with copics. His chef cap, and his apron i distressed with antique linen, Mr. Chef was cut out with grey card stock and then distress a tad with a shade of blue. For his green outfit i used a tim hotlz green that i had next to me.

I thank you all for stopping by, and have really enjoyed receiving your lovely comments :)
Hope you all have a WONDERFUL THANKSGIVING!!!!
Hugs to all,
Cheryl

My Decorated Cast

Hello everyone and Happy Tuesday to all! Yesterday I shared my decorated cast on the Really Reasonable Ribbon blog, and decided to wait til today to share on my personal blog.
Most of my readers know that i broke my ankle and ended up having to have surgery. Well when my cast was put on, i decided it needed a little decorating :) hehehehehe So i used all Really Reasonable Ribbons to make roses, and then used the green leaves for the vine. I also used some lace and double ruffled ribbon as well.

Supplies Used:

Next I added some buttons and brads. I just cut off the shanks with a shank remover. My daughters both helped me add the lace and the green leaves since I couldnt do that by myself. I used the hot glue gun to add everything to my cast.

Thank you for looking and have a lovely day!
Hugs to all,
Cheryl
