Love you More

Hello everyone, today's card is using the Beautiful CottageCutz Dies from the Birthday Release from the Scrapping Cottage! Today will be my last post for the Scrapping Cottage as I have decided to step down. I enjoyed working with the CottageCutz dies and will continue to share them in some of my creations, but I really want to work on my stamping as I truly have missed it!

I had so much fun creating my card for today. I did the panels for layering, and then added the frames for additional layering on my card. I LOVE layers, and anytime I can add tons, I do :) hehehe
Products used to create my card are listed below :)
Lacey Rose die, and airbrushed it using copic markers. For the centers I used a glitter, and some old pearls. I did cut these out in white card stock, and cut 4 of them, so I could layer for a 3-D look

Butterfly Lisbeth was cut in a pink card stock, and a blue pattern paper, layered and I did add some pearls to it as well.

Basics Rectangle stitched frames-  I use the basics to cut the white, and red pieces, I also used the Rectangle for the blue polka dot layer too.

Embellishments- Red polka dot ribbon, old button, twine, pearls, Stamped sentiment, and sewing to complete my card for today. Paper is Love you More.

Hope you enjoyed my post for today!

ODBDSLC270-Grandma/Happy Mothers Day

Hello everyone,
Today I am super excited to be playing along in Our Daily Bread Designs challenge. This week is my 1st week in a LONG time since I have played in any blog challenges :)

So for my card I figured I would make a Mothers Day card for my Mom from the Kids! They will give this one to her :) I did flip this sketch to the side, as I wanted to be able to place these stamps on and around the oval!

Instructions-
Card Base- first I cut my card base 6" x 12" score at6" , next cut my pink card stock at 5 1/2" x 5 1/2", and then the wine Polka Dot DP at 5 1/4" x 5 1/4". for the next layer with the HEARTS - cut 4 1/4" x a little under 5" , then the dp at 4" x 4 3/4". Lastly add sewing to all

Stamps- I stamped my sentiment in memento black ink 1st, and then used the spellbinders oval doily, taping it, so it would not move when running through the machine. Then I dusted around the spellbinders frame, to give a distress look using antique linen.  Next I stamped my flower stamp and colored with copic markers RV21,RV11,RV23,RV34,V91,R39,YG03,YG95,G24.

Embellishments- I made my bow with Really Reasonable Ribbon Velvet, and attached using hot glue, next I added a vintage button. Lastly 3 half back pearls are placed in the upper right hand corner.

Supplies Used:
Our Daily Bread Designs /MOM set
Copics /Coloring(RV21,RV11,RV23,RV34,V91,R39,YG03,YG95,G24,)
Really Reasonable Ribbon/Velvet ribbon
Making Memories/Design Paper
Spellbinders/Oval dies
Embellishments/Sewing and half backed pearls/vintage button

So Happy to be able to play along! Thank you for a wonderful sketch!

It sucks to get old

Hello everyone, Super excited to share my card today, as I have been working on using lots of my OLD stamps! Next I need to work on mailing out cards...YEP as normally I give those in person, well not anymore! Its my goal this year!

So this card here was designed for Splitcoaststampers Way to use it challenge " HUMOR" was the challenge for us. Use humor on your card. Well long story short, it took me about 2 hours to find a stamp among all my stamps....LOL and this one , I didn't even know I Had! LOL hahaha Card took me roughly about25 minutes to create, super simple I tell ya! Also made for Really Reasonable Ribbons challenge #135 "Celebrate with Ribbon or Trim!

I used some a 5 x 10 white card stock, scored in the middle at 5. Next I took some black scrap card stock, and cut the piece down to 4  3/4" x 4 3/4", then the dp at 4 1/2" x 4 1/2". Next the center piece I had left on my table and it measured 4 1/4" x 3" so I used it, and then cut the dp piece for it @ 4" x 2 3/4", then did my sewing. Next I cut the spellbinders frames out, and stamped my 2 unity images and colored them. super easy and fast to make, as this card is pretty simple. The Heartfelt Creations die piece was already cut, as I had cut it last week, but didn't use it. So figured I would on this card. My bow is created with really reasonable ribbon, and took seconds to create. I did add some buttons from my stash to the bow, and some stickles to the sucker.
Supplies used:
Unity stamps/ Itty bitty
American Crafts/Pebbles dp "Ever After"
Really Reasonable Ribbon/polka dot black and white, and pink satin
American Crafts /Card stock black and Bazzill pink
Heartfelt Creations / Die cut
Embellishments/Buttons from my stash and stickles

CC571 Precious Memories

Hello everyone, today's card was designed for Splitcoaststampers Color challenge today.
I made this card to send to a old neighbor friend in California who's mom passed away. It is so sad, and has been on my mind for many days now. Funeral was last Saturday, we couldn't attend, so we did send flowers. Now we will be sending each of the children and her husband a card. She was a dear sweet lady, and I feel so bad for the family.

So for my card I have to admit, I had a hard time finding the right color purple to match the wisteria color, oh boy! heehe so I used what I had, simple enough, I should have done that in the beginning. It took me longer to find the paper , than it did to make the card...heheh go figure! hahahaha

Flowers-
On my card I used Heartfelt creations Rose Creations die to cut the flowers out of Heartfelt Creation DP! they were airbrushed with copicBV00, and then distressed with dusty concord distress ink. I spritzed them with a pearl spritz, and then shaped them. Next I glued them together and added some American Crafts glitters.
Layers-
Next I picked the design paper from Ella Blue (GDC studios) for my layered background pieces. I figured I would bring in more blue that way. I added some sewing to each panel.

frame-
was cut using spellbinders, then distressed the edges with walnut stain, and dusted with frayed burlap
fancy corners-
those are HC and were cut using bazzill blank check card stock.
Sentiment-
Heartfelt Creations HCPC 3377 Sympathy Sentiments precut set.
Embellishments-
Branches are Martha Stewart, and Ribbon is Really Reasonable Ribbon. I used an OLD vintage button for the center of my bow.

Thank you for looking and have a lovely day!
hugs to all,
Cheryl
