Hello everyone, for today I'm sharing this super SWEET Mosaic Giraffe that is from Victorine Originals. I stamped this sweetie in Dusty Concord distressed ink, and then dusted the edges with the same color. I think she turned out super SWEET!!! My sentiment is also a VO stamp, super sweet!!!

My card was designed for Victorine Originals MoM Challenge that is going on right now for 2 weeks. Hope you will stop by the VO blog and join us for some fun, not only that, but it will help prepare you for Mothers Day cards :)

The dp, is from my stash, and its one of my many favorites. I think i was hoarding it....hehehehe it is from GCD studio's.

My ribbon is Grape Seam Binding from Really Reasonable Ribbon, love how you can wrinkle it up by ruching it up. Buttons are also from Really Reasonable Ribbon. I used the sweet Wild Orchid flowers on my card, and the branch is punched out with Martha Stewart branch punch.

Hello everyone and Happy Saturday to all!

Today's card was designed for CottageCutz using the Beautiful Dies from the "This N That" Release! Love love love this release and all the beautiful envelopes and such!

So for my card I used 3 of the new CottageCutz "This N That" Dies

Others CottageCutz are :

I absolutely LOVE the window dies, and there are sooo many things to do with them!! Love that you can add flowers and dress it up , or add wallpaper to behind and dress it down a bit. You could leave it plain, and add nothing. AWESOME Die!!! Also LOVE the pocket. I used it on my card here to hide a hidden message in the pocket. I used the "Eyelet Insert Card/Tag" and left it white!!

For the border across my card, I used the Oval Doily and Frame , well just the frame, and used it as a border , you can see it a little in the photo's. I love the look of this as a border, its perfect!!

Last I used some beautiful Seam Binding from Really Reasonable Ribbon, and ruched it up for the border, bow, and tag. I also used some victoria white crocheted lace, and buttons from RRR as well!!

Vintage Whimsy /Video

Today I wanted to share a Layout I made using Really Reasonable Ribbon. I have been on a Layout kick lately. I go through these spurts once in awhile....lol

Anyways on to my Layout!!

I love Really Reasonable Ribbon's Crocheted Lace, and Bonnie has some NEW colors in stock too!!! Be sure to check those out HERE :)
I ran the Lace down the side, to give it that Vintage Whimsy look, like the paper has. I then ran my flowers up the side, as you can see they are covering part of the lace. I really love the look of the lace under the flowers.

Next I used RRR Textured Two-Toned Light Blue and White Ribbon to create 2 floppy bows. I did them like this so I could tuck them under the flowers. This ribbon works perfect for doing this as its light in weight. Love that you can curl the leftover strands too.

Really Reasonable Ribbon Used:

The design paper is one of my FAV's its "Vintage Whimsy" by The girls' Paperie' and I distressed all the pieces to give it that Vintage look.
I also used lots of Prima Flowers, of course I normally hoard these, but ive been trying to get some old photo's done on layouts to be framed, and this is going to be 1 :)
Lastly I added some wedding stems, ribbon roses(OLD) and a sweet butterfly to complete my layout!

Shabby Chic Butterfly Tussy Mussy

Hello everyone, I wasn't planning on posting today, but I just finished this super FUN Shabby Chic Tussy Mussy made with a Toilet Paper Roll.

For my Tussy Mussy today, I used these
SUPPLIES:
Prima/Sun Kiss Design Paper
Flowers
Really Reasonable Ribbon/Mini Pom Pom Trim, Sheer Box Pleats, Blue Seam Binding
Creative Inspiration Paints/Deliquesce Gold Crystal(on edges of butterfly)
Fringe
Feather
Pearls(for butterfly)

I started by covering my toilet paper roll with a 4 x 6 piece of Prima dp, using Scor-Tape to attach as I go. To close the bottom, I used hot glue, and held it until it was dry. Next I distressed the edges of the design paper with Tim Holtz Distressed ink Antique Linen.

Now we are ready to decorate-
1st I added with HOT GLUE the fringe to the bottom of my tussy mussy. Next I added Mini Pom Pom Trim in white to the top. I always do a trial layout to see how I want everything before I actually glue any items down. So I started with my feather, then bunched up some box pleated trim and glued it on top of the feather. Next I added my large flower, and then added the leaves underneath it. After that I added the small flower, and butters to the centers. then added the stick pin.

Butterfly-
My butterfly was cut using white card stock with a CottageCutz die listed in supplies above. I cut 2 of the same butterfly to layer.
Then I decided I wanted to airbrush them with the copic airbrushing system, and these colors
YR31 is the yellow
B34
B93
I used a small foam circle to attach them on top of one another, and then added the pearls. Lastly for the butterfly I added some glue around the edges of the wings, and then added CIP's Deliquesce Gold Crystal Glitter. LOVE the look it gives to the butterfly and in person its beautiful.

Challenges-Cute Card Thursday/Butterfly Kisses, Forever Friends Challenge/Diecuts ,Creative Moments/Things with Wings , Creative Craft Challenge/Alter It(toilet Paper Roll)
Thank you for looking and have a wonderful day! The sun is finally shinning here :) woohooo!

Hello everyone, today I'm sharing a Mother's Day Card I created using all CottageCutz Beautiful Dies!!!

In this photo, I created my CottageCutz Zinnia Flowers with the plum design paper, it has a faint writing on it, next I distressed each and every layer with Dusty Concord Distressed Inks. For the leaves I used a green design paper with faint writing on it as well, and did the same but used peeled paint distressed ink to get the look I achieved. Lastly for the centers I used Viva Pearl Pen to create Pearls for the centers.

On the CottageCutz Postage Stamp Die I used white Card Stock and distressed it with Antique Linen Distressed ink. And Stamped with Our Daily Bread Designs Stamps!  For behind the Postage Stamp I used the CottageCutz Scalloped Doily but cut it in half to make a piece for the top and the bottom. I love the look it gives!!

Hello everyone,
today I'm sharing a Funky Fold card I designed for my Son, it was his 20th Birthday this last Wednesday April 3rd! I did use Lots of Really Reasonable Ribbon on his card &VO Guns

I'm not into making manly cards, but I do when needed....hehehehe I'm a girly girl for sure! On this card, I did notice, that maybe I should have left off the doily, but I thought at the time it broke up the background and image doily.

I used Really Reasonable Ribbons Beautiful Leaves Trims(in Black & Brown
Love the look of those. Bonnie does carry a ton of colors in the leaves!!

I also used all Buttons from Really Reasonable Ribbon too. I used Ivory & Latte packs.

The bow was made using Brown Satin.

For the dp, I used Graphic45, I love the colors on this piece. I also used CottageCutz Doily's(Scalloped Doily, and Oval Doily & Frame)
My stamped Guns are from Victorine Originals Stamps
And
All distressing and coloring is done w/Tim Holtz Distress inks
Challenges:
Stamp and Create/Use at least 1 die cut!
