May Desktop Calendar

Hello Friends!
Today's Project is the May Calendar for my Desk Calendar project I have been working on. So far I have shared the Months June & July. I decided I better share the month of May before its over...heheheheehe

So for the month of May I used the design Paper from American Crafts its the Pebbles line called "Garden Party". I also used the Thickers they are American Crafts "Lullaby". For my CottageCutz dies I used the Spring Duckling, and Springtime Bluebell Flowers. Both of these are colored with copic markers.

Next I used Really Reasonable Ribbons Noelle Lace down the right side of this page. and then used the Shimmer Satin Ribbon and Sweetheart Blossom flower also found at Really Reasonable Ribbon.

For the next 2 pages I used coordinating embellishments from American Crafts Pebbles line for "Garden Party". I thought this line was perfect for this months calendar. The Calendar is Studio Calico and is from American Crafts as well. Love these calendar cards. Hoping they come out with them for 2015 as well.

I used more ribbons from Really Reasonable Ribbon on these 2 pages as well. There is a Spring Green Satin with Grosgrain edge, and then the Noelle lace, Chevron Striped Pink Twill, and Grosgrain swiss Dots.

I hope you enjoyed today's Post as I had lots of fun creating it!
Thank you for looking!!
Hugs to all,
Cheryl

Best Wishes to the Bride & Groom

6 x 6 Easel Wedding Card
Hello everyone, Cheryl here today with a Wedding Easel Card I made for the Scrapping Cottage using the Beautiful CottageCutz dies. Some of these are from the New Wedding Release found here.

For the front of my card I used the CottageCutz Bella Spring Wreath ,I cut it out in cream card stock, and then dusted it in Antique Linen. Next I used the CottageCutz Elegant Veil & Top Hat, and my video shows how I did these.
 Copic colors I used are
RV11, and RV34 Flowers
100Black &BV29 Slate for top hat
C5 band on top hat
G24 Leaves

Lastly I cut the  CottageCutz Expressions "Bride & Groom" in a black shiny card stock. I also used the CottageCutz Fancy Floral Lace Border along the right side of the front.
Next for the inside I used the CottageCutz  Bella Spring Corner , it was cut in cream card stock and dusted with antique linen. Then I used the CottageCutz Spring Label for holding up the easel part of my card. For this I did the same as all the other cream pieces, but added some Really Reasonable Ribbon seam binding around it, and then made bows, and added them to each side with flowers and leaves. I used CottageCutz Expressions "Best Wishes" die cut for the sentiment on this tag.

The lace I used is vintage. and the Seam Binding is from Really Reasonable Ribbon. The colors I used are Leather Tan, and Baby Pink. I also used some Leaves, and Sweetheart Blossoms, from Really Reasonable Ribbon as well. These can all be found here! The Design paper is from American Crafts Crate Paper "Little Bo Peep"(Pink One) and the other is from Project Life Heritage Edition, also from American Crafts.

All photo's are linked to The Scrapping Cottage for easy finding!

Sweet Desktop Organizer & Video

Hello everyone,Today I'm sharing a  Desktop Organizer I made for a friend at work & for Really Reasonable Ribbon ,using cardboard rolls leftover from work, and decorated them with Seam Binding, Lace, Buttons and flowers all from Really Reasonable Ribbon. All Dies are from The Scrapping Cottage.

Sherri from my work asked me if I could use these rolls that they have leftover from labels, and I said YES! She then showed me an idea she came up with using 3 different sizes, to use as a Desktop Organizer, I was thinking what an AWESOME idea, so I asked her what colors, and of course I knew already she LOVES frogs, so I went with this theme.

First I covered the rolls inside and outside with design paper and card stock, Next I used the Really Reasonable Ribbon Gabrielle Lace, as its so soft and pretty. LOVE the look it gives. I ran it around the tops and bottoms of each before attaching them all together.

Next I placed some CottageCutz Grass borders and then Moss Green Seam Binding from Really Reasonable Ribbon. In my video I show how I did this.
The CottageCutz Mr. Spring Peeper is cut with white card stock and then colored with copics. I did add a pink handmade flower and leave to the hat. I also used the Mini Mushrooms, Mini Butterfly, Mini Ladybug , Mini Dragonfly, all are CottageCutz dies.

All dies are from The Scrapping Cottage and are CottageCutz dies. The sweet flowers are Really Reasonable Ribbons Sweetheart Blossoms, and I used them in 3 different colors. I also used some buttons from RRR as well.

Here is this photo above you can see one of the Button Rosettes I made using buttons, Seam Binding and Sweetheart Blossom.

Lastly I wanted to show what it look like holding a few items.
Thank you all for looking and have a super awesome day!!

June Desk Calendar

Hello everyone, and Happy Saturday to all!
Today I am sharing another Month for the Heidi Swapp Desk Calendar I bought at American Crafts. For each Month I have covered the chipboard piece that had its month's name on it. I didnt care for the colors on them, so thought it would be cute to cover it and then design each month in my style.

So for the June page, I covered it in Garden Party design paper from the Pebbles Line. I used all Really Reasonable Ribbon on this, and some beautiful lace too from the Really Reasonable Ribbon store. I also used the beautiful sweet Sweetheart Blossoms from RRR as well.

The sweet kitty is a CottageCutz die, and is dusted and colored with copics. I also used the CottageCutz Picket Fence Border from The Scrapping Cottage.

JUNE is done in Thickers, and those came from American Crafts. These match the Garden Party dp perfect!!

On the page with the tag, I left it pretty plain, and those tags come out of the pocket, I will add 2 photo's on this page. All the tags, banner, and ladybug came from the embellishments that match the design paper. The page with the calendar has leave trims in Moss Green and PINK from Really Reasonable Ribbon. The borders going down the sides are from The Scrapping Cottage and are the CottageCutz Sweetheart Border. I also added some of the Sweetheart Blossoms to the vine of leaves.

This page here was added by me. I made it to fit this calendar, just by measuring the chipboard page that came with this desktop calendar set. I figured it could be replace, if I get bored with it next year. However I will keep the front pages the same, as I did add more details to it. I could also just add a calendar over this one if I wanted to, so other options are available for this.

Now to work on another :) I will share it when done!!
Thank you for looking and have a wonderful day!
Hugs to all,
Cheryl

Patriotic and Ribbon Theme Goody Bag

Hello everyone, today I'm sharing a treat bag made for Really Reasonable Ribbon's Patriotic and Ribbon Theme Challenge that started today!

I've wanted to use these super darling treat bags I got from American Crafts, they go with the American Line from Pebbles. I also used the Pen Pal line from from Pink Paislee, love both of these. The Really Reasonable Ribbon works PERFECT with both lines. I LOVE the ribbon for my bow, it reminds me of the american flag, its called "Flag Grosgrain Ribbon", next I used the Mini Pom Poms in blue, and the Lace is Gabrielle off white, and is absolutely beautiful!!

I used the Sweetheart Blossoms from Really Reasonable Ribbon as well, and those can be found here!

The Super Cute Teddy is Mr. Snuggles and is a CottageCutz die and is dusted with distressed ink, and then I added a watermelon sticker to him. He is my favorite teddy!!!
All the stickers are matching to each collection that I listed above. Pen Pal, and Americana, both are paper collections from Pebbles and Pink Paislee.

Thank you for looking and have a super nice day!

You should have arrived from Linsey's Blog If not you will want to start out at the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog so that you wont miss anything.

I hope you have enjoyed our Hop so far today as there is a LOT of inspiration using the Beautiful May Ribbon Kit from Really Reasonable Ribbon. I just LOVE all the ribbons in this months assortment! Of course I LOVE every month as they are all so Beautiful!!! I did use lots of red, blue, and the lace from this months assortment, on my July Desk Calendar for today.

Today's Desk Calendar was designed using the Heidi Swapp desk calendar, and then I covered the chipboard pages(each month) with Design Paper, and then made the second page to hold the actual calendar. On the backside of this cover, is room for a PHOTO. I just haven't placed one in there yet.

I used LOTS of the ribbon from this months assortment. I used the beautiful Red and Blues, and then the red polka dot ribbon. I also used the lace from this months kit as well. The dp is Pen Pal from American Crafts, I believe its the Pink Paislee collection. On the front page I used Buttons, and flowers and those too can be found at Really Reasonable Ribbon.

These are the 2 pages you see when you open July's page. There is room for a photo under that frame. Its part of the Pen Pal collection. For the LOVE button thing, I added some of the lace, and then ribbon behind it, and then hot glued it on. All the sticker chipboard pieces are from this Pen Pal Collection.  I ran the lace down both sides under the frame, and then used it across the bottom of the Calendar page. The flowers on these 2 pages are metal and are from American Crafts. These calendar pages are super fun to make, and it looks super cut on my work desk! LOVE IT!!!
