Club Scrap July Artist Team Challenge

Hello everyone, and welcome to Club Scraps July Artist Team Challenge! This month the July Challenge is " featuring a frame" using Club Scrap stamps to create a frame on a layout around photo's, cards, or some type of project you would like to create a frame.  So for my layout today I created a friendship frame around dear hubby and I using the Vintage Botany Art Noueau stamps and Club Scraps Vintage Botany Deluxe Kit.

Now you should have arrived from Debbie's Blog , however if you did not come from there, you might want to start at the beginning with Karen's Club Scrap blog that way you wont miss any of the Design Teams beautiful creations.
I'm absolutely in LOVE with this Vintage Botany and LOVE the purple(eggplant) card stock, and all the floral prints in this collection! I must buy more :)

On this layout I knew when i saw this design paper an the daisies in it, that I wanted daisies on this page. I think they match perfectly!

The tag and the banners up on the right top of my page were cut out using the Vintage Botany Embellishment cut -a-parts. I added sewing to all 3 of these.

Flowers were made using white card stock, then dusted and then added flowers to the centers in yellow and light green.  I used the green card stock from the Deluxe kit to cut out my flowers and floral greenery.

Ribbon and the lace are from the Vintage Botany collection, they can be found in the fibers kit here.

Postage stamp button piece is from the same collection as can be found here
I love these, and I added some of the fibers to tie on this.

hope you enjoyed my post for today, as I truly enjoyed creating my cardslayout for today using the the beautiful NEW Vintage Botany Collection! Please let me know what you think as I always enjoy reading your wonderful comments!

A Sweet Friendship

Hello and Happy Saturday to you all! Today's sweet card was designed for Cheery Lynn Designs using 7 BEAUTIFUL Cheery Lynn Dies! To start with I chose to use the 2 different sizes of the Gardenia die. I LOVE the layering design of this die. I also love how Cheery Lynn makes them into strips, as I love that you can run it through the machine so easy and have lots of cuts . Oooo im also LOVING my Big Sister Die cut machine that I got through Cheery Lynn Designs! LOVE it more than the Big shots machine, I guess because you can adjust the level of pressure on your dies. Its awesome!!! If you haven't seen this machine, you have to watch their video.
Enough of me rambling on....hehehee now onto my card for today.

On this card here I chose to use some older Crate paper, an make some chocolate looking flowers. LOVE these gardenia's ( B433 Small Gardenia Strip & B339 Gardenia Strip)and how they turned out. I spritzed them with spritz spray to give them some glitz, and to shape them easier. Love these!!!

The leaves B241 Rose Leaf Strip and the Flourish #8 were cut out using a green and then distressed.

Sentiment from The Project bin #bff was stamped on the LPC4 circle die, and then layered on the DL272 Doily Die. Layered behind this is the DL282 Alpine Flourish Doily

Ribbon is Really Reasonable Ribbons Delicate Stitched Satin
Thank you for stopping by, and please leave a comment letting me know what you think of my card for today!

Club Scrap Vintage Botany Blog Hop

Hello everyone and welcome to Club Scraps July blog hop featuring the New Beautiful Vintage Botany Deluxe kit !  If you arrived from Josette's Blog then you are in the right place , if not you will want to start from the beginning at Karen(Club Scrap blog)so you don't miss any of the wonderful inspiration from the Club Scrap Artist Team! There is also a list of the entire line up there for you with links :) Have fun & I hope you enjoy todays Hop!

I have to say , that I always LOVE how my layouts turn out using Club scraps Deluxe club kits. Each one is special to me, and cant wait to add the photo's and get them in an album :) On this one here I already added some sweet photo's of our Chow Chow Miesha Bear! We also call her Mieshy...hehehe She is the most loving , caring, & sweetest dog ever. She has the best personality, and its very sweet. Never has she shown a mean side at all. She loves all other dogs, no matter what size they are. She also loves kitties, and gets so cute when she see's them. I have never had a dog listen so well, even when she goes for rides on our golf cart. She see's a cat, and cries, but says right by our side. Love this little Princess Miesha Bear! Hope you enjoy seeing her sweet photo's from when she 4 1/2 to 5 months old in these photos.

On my page here I chose to use the beautiful design paper from this months Vintage Botany Deluxe Kit. Omygosh I love all the designs and colors in this kit.

On this page I used 1 12" x 12" print for the backing, its backed onto the Purple(BEAUTIFUL) card stock! I also used this same purple for the flowers that are spritz with a gold glitter. Next I chose to use the photo mattes that come in this kit for dear Miesha's photo's, lastly adding sewing to keep them in place.

The other flowers were cut using the 8 1/2" x 11" print card stock, its the one with the botanicals going down the left side. I then airbrushed them using a purple copic marker, and added some sweet flower embellishments to the centers of all the flowers.

Tags are from the cut-a-part sheets, and I used the Glassine Bag for the gold pop up butterfly tag, that also came in this beautiful kit.

Ribbon and fibers are also from Vintage Bontany Deluxe kit and add on.

I had so much fun working with this months beautiful Vintage Botany kit, as I LOVE everything about this sweet kit! I do hope you are enjoying our hop today!

Vintage Botany Card

Hello everyone, and Happy Monday to you all! Today's card was created for Really Reasonable Ribbon using their Beautiful Satins. This one is the Satin with Grosgrain Edge, and its absolutely Gorgeous! Love how easy the bows come together using this ribbon. To see all Satins please visit the Really Reasonable Ribbon Store here.

To create this card here, I chose to use the New Vintage Botany collection from Club Scrap. So the design paper is 2 different designs, with stenciling on the 1st layer, then stamping the flower from the Vintage Botany Jumbo Unmounted Stamps and coloring it with copics for the flower image. Paper & stencil are all from the one Vintage Botany Deluxe collection. the 2nd layer is from the 8 1/2 x 11 design paper sheet called Deluxe Lt. Green. This collection is absolutely beautiful!

knew Really Reasonable Ribbon would have the perfect ribbon to go with this kit, so I chose the satin with Grosgrain edge, and its perfect. RRR also has some other beautiful satins and taffeta's that match perfectly. LOVE this!!

Next I colored my image with copic markers R85 & RV11 for the flowers, then for the greenery I chose YG03 & G99 they worked perfectly! For the center of the big flower I used some stickles in the color of fruit punch. I have had my stickles for about 9 1/2 years, and they still work perfectly.

I added sewing with my machine, in a light pink, and then added gel dots in white.

My layers are popped with RRR foam Squares. and the layers were glued together before sewing using a small piece of Scor-Tape, both of these can be found at Really Reasonable Ribbon under adhesives

I hope you enjoyed my post for today, as I en joyed creating this card to share with you all! Please leave a comment letting me know what you think :)
Hugs to all,
Cheryl

Someone I love.....

Hello everyone and Happy Friday to all! Today I have a card designed for Club Scrap, The Project Bin Stamps ,and for Really Reasonable Ribbon's Anything Goes Challenge. I TPB's beautiful stamp set called "Born Yesterday", and Club Scraps Vintage Botany Deluxe club kit and Really Reasonable Ribbon's Satin! LOVE them all!

On my card I used 1 sheet of design paper in the 8 1/2" x 11" and layered with the green card stock also from the kit. Next I added sewing in a pink that I had a little left on the spool. For my sentiment I chose the Someone I love was born today, as its a birthday card, and worked perfecting with the die cuts I used from Cheery Lynn Designs.

The Really Reasonable ribbon I chose to use came from a jar I have on my work station that holds all current scraps of ribbon. That I way I know its still available to buy. I also used the sweet little covered button embellishment from Really Reasonable Ribbon as well.
I Hope you enjoyed my card for today! Thank you so much for stopping by, hope you have a wonderful day!

Everybody

Hello everyone, and Happy Wednesday to you all! Today I have a fun summery card I created for Cheery Lynn Designs using the beautiful floral & Doily dies. I have to say I LOVE the wide variety of dies that Cheery Lynn carries, and all the different Beautiful Doily's, its a crafters haven....hehehee My card was also designed for The Project bin using their super darling stamps!

For my card today, I started off by using a paper collection called sugar rush by basicgrey, im sure its an old old collection, as I have hardly any sheets left in this 6 x 6 paper pad....hehehehe

Next I took one of the coordinating design papers and cut out my Small Gardenia strip flowers B433. I love the look of these grey polka dot gardenia's. They were super easy to make and all I did was add some pearls to the centers.

Next I cut out some of the Floral Bouquet Kit greenery B777 to use with these beautiful gardenia's, and I LOVE how these turned out using 2 different Club scrap green inks, and a blending foam dabber. LOVE the look of the leaves!!

Doily Layers were done using 3 different Cheery Lynn Doily's
DL282 Alpine Flourish Doily
DL280 Royal Scandinavian Doily
DL232 Ankara Lace Doily
These were all cut out using white card stock, and layered within the layers of my card. I LOVE adding lots of layers to all my cards, its so fun to create them with layers :)

Sentiment was stamped using The Project Bins Bazinga! stamp set, and 2 different blue ink pens.

Ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon and is a Taffeta in the color Maize.  and I used the beautiful pearls from Really Reasonable Ribbons Embellishment line.
Lastly I added some fun sewing to all my layers.

Thank you for looking and have a lovely day!
Hugs to all,

Happy Birthday

Hello crafty friends and Happy Friday to you all! Today's card is a super fun birthday card created for Really Reasonable Ribbon using the beautiful Satin Ribbon that came in last months Ocean Breeze Assortment. Love the colors in this club assortment! My card was also created for The Project Bin using the darling sentiment from Jukebox Birthday set.
I made my big bow using the satin, and love how it turned out. Easy when you use the beautiful and nice ribbons that Bonnie carries over at the Really Reasonable Ribbon shop. I also used the foam tabs that can be found here.

The flowers were done using dies, and coordinating design paper. I did use the Glass flower technique that I do on a lot of my flowers. I love how these look in person. Not like paper :) heheheh for the centers I chose to use some of my beads from my collection. I have Hundreds of these that I ended up with from my moms best friend.

The stamp is from The Project Bin, and it is super cute. I did this stamping with the Mini Misti tool. Love that tool for stamping. I have to say you never get a bad stamped image using this, what a life saver .

The dp is from American Crafts, and I added sewing to complete my card for today.
I hope you enjoyed my post for today! Thank you for stopping by!
hugs to all!

The design papers I chose to use today are from Club Scraps Shades of Winter Deluxe kit that released back in December . I thought it would work perfectly with this months Perfectly Purple Mix! LOVE this design paper and love how this card turned out. Super easy!

In My Heart

Hello Crafty Friends and Happy Sunday to you all! Hope you have been having a nice crafty weekend! Today I have this sweet card designed for Cheery Lynn Designs and The Project Bin Stamps. On my card today I used 4 different Cheery Lynn Dies, and the sentiment from TPB "In My Heart" stamp set.

To start with I grabbed some design papers that I've been keeping in a box on the floor by my work station. I figured this would be an easy way to use up all those scrap design paper pieces we all have a ton of.....LOL and when I grab new sheets, the leftovers go in this box as well, unless they have a book or box that I have them in to begin with. Meaning like graphic45 , I put all my scraps back in the paper stack, so I have it with that collection. And some of my other collections are in boxes, and plastic tote things that hold entire collections. I should take a photo so you can see :)

PHOTO'S below!
So the top photo here holds some of the stacks either 12 x 12 , and 6 x 6 of the one collection, along with any embellishments that go with that collection. Like stickers, ribbons, brads, embellishments of all sorts. Love that I can pull one plastic tote and have everything I need.
This is how I store all my club scrap collections. Each box has either 1 0r 2 collections in it. and will state that on the box, so I can grab them easy. On the paper shelves I do keep a few collections that didn't come in a stack, but rather a plastic bag type holder. Those I have on some of these shelves in my room.

So the design papers on this card came from my scrap box. Not sure who they are by, but love them, and glad to use them up!

Next my flowers were cut using Cheery Lynns B339 Gardenia Strip, B241 Rose Leaf Strip, and then the Wreath Strip B216 for the branches used on this card.

The Doily is Cheery Lynn's Priscilla Doily die DL260.
Bow was created using Really Reasonable Ribbons Delicate Satin.

Sentiment is from The Project Bins "In My Heart Set"

Lastly to complete my cad I added sewing!

I hope you enjoyed my post for today! Thank you so much for stopping by!
Have a lovely day
Hugs to all,
Cheryl

Peace begins wih a SMILE

Hello everyone, and Happy Friday to all!! Today's card was created for Really Reasonable Ribbons Challenge, The Project Bin Stamps & Club Scrap. I used all Club scrap design papers and card stock, The Project Bins Stamp set called "Wise Woman" and Really Reasonable Ribbon, embellishments, and foam squares. Love how soft and pretty this one turned out! Very pleased I am :) hehehehehe

LOVE the design paper from Club Scraps Succulents Collection that came out in February. I used just one sheet of the same dp, and then their light green card stock and some white card stock as well.

The sentiment is The Project Bin stamps Wise Woman set. I stamped it using the Mini Misti tool and Club scraps black ink.
All dies used are Cheery Lynns Daisy Strip, LPC4 Circle, Ankara Lace Doily DL232, and Doily Dies DL272

Ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbons Coral Rose Bold Diamond Print Satin Ribbon, and so are the sweet little Resin flowers that I used inside the centers of my daisy's. I love RRR foam Tabs, I have to say im addicted to using tons of them. They are small and easy to use!

Extra's used are Martha Stewarts branch punch, and then my sewing. I also used a hot glue gun to attach my flowers and the bow :)

Blushing Rose Birthday Wishes

Hello everyone, and Happy Monday to you all! Today I have a special card I created for Really Reasonable Ribbon using the Gorgeous Delicate Satin Stitched Ribbon. LOVE this card and it was designed for a special person in my life :)

I started out by using the Gorgeous design papers from Our Daily Bread Designs, and OMGoSH this has to be one of my favorite collections. Not sure if they still sell it, but if they do I might have to pick up another pack.

For the bow I chose to use some Satin Delicate Stitched that I keep in large jars on my work area, these are ribbons that I have received recently, and love to use them 1st :) this one can be found here with tons of other gorgeous colors! This one is Coral Rose, there is a lighter one too that is absolutely beautiful!

3-D layers were done using RRR Foam Tabs found here.

My flowers & Leaves were made using Cheery Lynn Dies. and using distress inks. I really love how this card turned out for today.

Thank you so much for stopping by, and please do let me know what you think of my card for today! I always love to read your comments!
Hugs to all!
