Springtime/Easter Treat Container

Hello Crafty friends and Happy Monday to all! Today I have some super cute Easter teat containers I had made for the grandkids for Easter, My last Easter post for the year, but how fun these were to make, and can be used as spring gift giving as well.

So these containers are recycled and I added some border punches, and design paper to each one. Next I cut out some shaped frames, and layered those with coordinating papers. The darling SVG files were cut using my cricut and distressed using inks, and then highlighted using white paint pens. Of course I had to add Really Reasonable Ribbons to each box, and love how the big bows look I used 3 different satins, one is the Delicate stitched in Delphinium , Next I used the Diamond Satin in Porcelain Blue, and then Hot pink Satin double faced. all links are provided below for easy finding. Next My tags were done using the StampinUp! stamp and coordinating punches. these were so much fun to make for my grandkids and they loved them!
I still have several of these recycled boxes left to decorated for different holidays or birthdays would be cute too.
Really Reasonable Ribbon supplies used:
others: scales and cottontails SVG,  scrapping bug designs cotton tail express, design paper, hot glue, white paint pen, sewing, stampinup! stamps and punches

Springtime Gnome Flowerpot

Hello crafty friends and Happy Friday to you all! Todays Memorydex card is a flowerpot I made into a pocket for some journaling on this darling Gnome card. I figured it nice when your journaling is hidden sometimes. The flowerpot is an old cottagecutz die, and the gnome is a Christmas one i changed a bit.
for this memorydex card I added an envelope and then some shapes on top of it. Next layered the fence and then my flowerpot and gnome. Love all the fun colors for spring here. I just had to use some of my dew drops from The Robins Nest Creative, I need to purchase more of these soon.  I used a mixture of design papers on this one from American crafts and Echo Park "Welcome Spring" collection.  I used my copic markers for coloring the bunnies, flowers, window, door and stem on the flower top. White paint pen for dots, and different ink pads for distressing the edges of the pieces.

Hope you enjoyed another extra post for this week!
Hugs to all,
Cheryl

There is going to be lots of Beautiful projects to see today using the Blue & Yellow Ribbon Assortment, so I hope you Enjoy

I've been so addicted to making these darling memorydex cards and love them. I made a set here so I can add a photo to the bottom one. I ended up using two of the darling blue ribbons from this months assortment and love them both! I also added a pink satin, of course that one is not in this months assortment, but just had to use it anyways. I wanted my ticket booth to have lots of flowers to go with the design papers, and I managed to add several die cut layers as well. I love having these on my desk where I craft as I get to see them everyday and just roll and see another. super fun! For the ticket booth I ended up adding some stickles that you paint on, as my ticket booth had glue on it, and it looked pretty dirty. anyways a quick fix.

Really Reasonable Ribbon Supplies:

others: cottagecutz ticket booth, cheerylynn swirls, Justrite Papercrafts oval frame, stickles, carta bella design paper, american crafts pink design paper, hot glue, pearls, and pinwheel beads.

shabby chic window

Hello crafty friends and happy Monday to you all! Today I'm sharing a Memorydex card I made using this window I created years back and never put on anything. I figured I would enjoy it on the memorydex cards, and add photos soon. I love that I am able to do journaling on the tag that is hidden in the pocket behind the window. Hope you enjoy this extra post for this week.
All I did was cover my card with design paper, and a doily die cut. Next I placed the window and added a new tag as the one that was in there disappeared over the years. I did add a butterfly, and that is about it. I covered the bottom of the window using a floral border piece that came with the design paper pad, and added the rest of that border to the card below. super fun!

I hope you enjoyed my post for today! Thank you for stopping by

For my friend card

Hello Crafty friends and Happy Friday to you all! Today's card was designed for Really Reasonable Ribbon using their beautiful flowers & Ribbon. Love using all the different flowers and clustering them all together.
To start with I chose my card base to be 6" x 6" and then layered all my design paper layers on top. This one has a total of 3 design paper layers starting with the base one measuring 5 1/2" x 5 1/2" then the design paper measures 5 1/4" x 5 1/4", next floral layer measures 4 3/4" x 4 3/4' , the little striped layer measures 5 1/2" x 3 1/4" card stock pink, then striped design paper measures 5 1/4" x 3",  I always do 1/4" differences on my layers. so base will be the biggest and then design paper 1/4" smaller. Next I added my zig zag sewing, kept it simple lately.

for the sentiment layer, I chose 4 layers on that starting with the white doily, and then the cheerylynn shapes, and lastly added my sentiment from Close to my Heart stamps set Curly Sentiments C1056 stamped in black ink.  The butterfly is a K & Company embellishment.

Really Reasonable Ribbon Supplies Used:

others: cheerylynn dies, k&company, close to my heart stamps, sewing machine, black ink, copic airbrushing, white paint pen, hot glue

thank you so much for stopping by and have a wonderful day! Also I want to thank you all for your sweet comments, I really enjoy reading them.

Gnome Sweet Gnome

Hello crafty friends and Happy Wednesday to you all! Today I'm sharing Gnome sweet Gnome Memorydex card set, with an old family photo to share.  This one was done using Really Reasonable Ribbon/ CottageCutz dies/carta bella flower garden/ border dies from crafters edge/and old cheerylynn dies. Another extra post for this week, hope you enjoy!
The little cottage was cut out using white card stock, and then colored using copic markers, same for the little gnome, which by the way was a Christmas gnome, but used as a springtime one. Its nice when you can use them for other than the holiday they were intended for. I added some RRR Ribbon, Pearls, and used the foam tabs for the 3-D effect.

Our family photo was taken in Lake Tahoe, we had taken the kids horse back riding and had an awesome time back then.

Thank you for stopping by and have a lovely day!
Hugs to all,

Berry Sweet Gnome

Crafty friends I have another post for today, as I just couldnt wait to share this darling gnome that I did using an SVG file I bought from Marjorie Ann. Isn't he just the cutest!? Remember any of the Memorydex layouts will also work on a card base as well.  Anyways I will keep this post super short.

I had some leftover red card stock, it was kinda short and small, so I decided to add a border punch to the edges. Next I covered using the checked, and strawberry design papers, and then added a few frames to get my layers. I stamped the sentiment from StampinUp! and then used the flowers that came in the SVG file. Love this one, and cant wait to choose a photo to go on it.

Hope you all have a lovely weekend! Hugs to you!

Cheryl

Happy 50th Anniversary Card

Hello everyone and Happy Friday to you all! Today's card is an Anniversary card I made using some of my faux glass flowers, you can find some of my older tutorials under the tutorial tab if you are interested in trying these. Today's Post is a short one, as its an extra post for this week.
On these I just cut out the card stock, and then distressed the edges of the petals, and then followed the gluing and dipping like in my videos. I love the design paper its an oldie but goody. Its from American Crafts called I DO! I love the dew drops and had to add them to the corners of each layer, as I felt the card needed some extra embellishing. I also added a small butterfly, some Really Reasonable Ribbon, and some Half backed pearls for the flowers. Happy Anniversary was done using two different stamps.

Really Reasonable Ribbon Diamond Satin Coral

The Robins Nest Dew Drops , JustRite Paper crafts dies, Happy is from Close to my Heart stamps, Anniversary is from JustRite Papercrafts, 50 is Thickers, and the th I wrote myself. Butterfly is K & Company, Design Paper is I DO from American Crafts.

I hope you enjoyed my card for today, as I had fun making and sharing. have a lovely day!
