Really Reasonable Ribbons August Hop

Hello everyone and Welcome to
♥♥♥Really Reasonable Ribbon's♥♥♥
August Blog Hop!

You should have arrived from Linsey's Blog If not you will want to start out at the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog so that you wont miss anything.

I hope you have enjoyed our Hop so far today as there is a LOT of inspiration using the Beautiful August Ribbon Kit from Really Reasonable Ribbon. I just LOVE all the ribbons in this months assortment! Of course I LOVE every month as they are all so Beautiful!!! For this month I decided to make a Treat Box using a Recycled Ribbon Box.

For my box I chose to use the Brown Diamond Satin Ribbon and the lace from this months RRR assortment. I got these boxes from my work, we were going to throw them away, and I just couldn't throw them out, so I took home a bunch, and tried to get other crafters at work to take a bunch too. I thought they would be perfect as treat boxes, gift boxes, or perfect for holding a gift card wrapped inside.
I ran the lace around the top and bottom of the design paper. Next I used the same lace for my rosette. The brown Diamond Satin was used for a small box that sits behind the rosette. I also used Really Reasonable Ribbons Buttons,Seam Binding, and Sweetheart Blossoms to create my Rosette. I attached the paper using Scor-Tape, and also attached the lace, and rosette using Scor-tape as well. Super easy and fun box to make. My ticket is from SU! and the stamp used is one I had from a long time ago.
Buttons from Really Reasonable Ribbon, and score -tape used is also from RRR.

Your NEXT stop on the Really Reasonable Ribbon HOP is the Kathy's Blog. Thank you so much for joining us this month, and hope you enjoyed all the inspiration from the DT so far!
Hugs to all,
Cheryl

  18. Soooo adorable! I love your kitty cat image!!!!! What a lovely creation up-cycling pillow boxes like this and turning them into wonderful gift boxes. You could even fill some with candies, chocolates, a little bag of specialty coffees or tea bags - the list goes on and on. Very creative!!!
