Love you Bunches/SCS Sketch Challenge

Hello everyone & Happy Wednesday to all!
Today we have another SUPER AWESOME Sketch challenge at Splitcoaststampers hosted by Allison. Love her sketch this week! Today's card is my sample for this weeks Challenge!
On my card I used the beautiful Rose from Heartfelt Creations and colored it with Copic Markers. I wanting a more RED Rose, but somehow PINK took over....hehehehe Of course I LOVE pink! My card was pretty simple to make, as I just cut 3 pieces of design paper from Crate Paper Stack 6 x 6 "Fourteen" and layered them on a blue card stock piece that measures 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 , next I did my sewing, and then added my Ribbon(Really Reasonable Ribbon), and next is the Spellbinders Circle/Scalloped Circle. The Rose was stamped in Memento Black ink, and colored in with copic markers R39, R59, and a couple of shades of Pink.

Flora for Mom

Hello everyone, and Happy Friday to all! Today I wanted to share a quick post on my other card I made for this past Wednesday's sketch challenge on Splitcoaststampers.

I made the flowers on my card using Heartfelt Creations beautiful Flora Grande stamps. they are airbrushed using copics, and then spritzing with gold glimmer mist, and I added some beads to the centers. I had some ribbon that matched perfect, but didn't care for it, as it had wire in it. Now thinking about it, I should have pulled the wire out....sheeesh , always figure it out after the fact.....LOL hahah oh well. For the leaves I used Lumiere, and just painted it on them. super easy!
The design paper I used is American Crafts Dear Lizzy line, 5th and frolic. Love the papers in this collection.
The sticker that says Mother is from DCWV

The ribbon for the bow is Old and from an estate, so im not sure where its from. The gingham checked ribbon is from RRR, and the other one, is the one I wanted to make my bow out of....hehehehe

Thank you for looking and have a lovely weekend!

SCS Sketch Challenge/Bella Rose

Hello everyone and Happy Wednesday to all!  Today's card is for Splitcoaststampers Sketch challenge that is hosted by Cathy this week. Love this sketch! Thank you Cathy!

So this is my second card for Cathy's sketch. I played around making my first card yesterday morning, and then uploaded it last night. However once I uploaded it, I decided to make another card "Bella Rose" I just LOVE this stamp, as I LOVE roses!!!

When I lived in San Jose California back in 1994 we had over 22 rose tree's and bushes at the house we rented. I fell in love with roses even more after moving into that home. Thank God for my Aunt Mary who knew all about Roses, as she was a Master Gardener. Anytime I had questions, she was always there to help, even sent me a book on how to take care of roses! Sure do miss her!Anyways just had to tell you a little about what made me love Roses so much! So now onto my card....hehehe
My card was pretty simple to make. As I cut my Blue shimmer Bazzill card stock 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 next the design paper was cut at 5 1/4 x 5 1/4 and then sewn together. For my panel I cut it and layered the same. Using design paper from Echo Park "For the Record2". The Beautiful Bella rose was stamped in memento black ink, and colored with copics. The rose was colored with copics B99,BG000,B45. The leaves were colored with G99,YG05,YG03,G24. I then cut out the rose.

Ribbons are from Really Reasonable Ribbon. Love all the ribbons Bonnie carries! Lastly the little brad I added is from American Crafts Warehouse Sale. I bought them back in 2013 wow, seems like it was just yesterday!

Hope you will join us for this super fun challenge! To do so, please visit us here at Splitcoaststampers

I made this card using the DARLING New CottageCutz Birthday Release, and CottageCutz Basics.

On my card I cut out the CottageCutz Stitched Oval die in a pink card stock, and then distressed it. Next I cut the CottageCutz Oval one, and distressed the inside with a light pink. The brown frame is the CottageCutz Fancy Victorian Frame. These are all layered together to give a nice layered look.

These are the colors I used to color all the pieces. RV21,RV11,RV34E29,E57,G24,YG03  I also added some fun glitter to the heart on the cupcake. Love the look of it~

All photo's below are linked to the Scrapping Cottage Store for easy finding. :)
