Club Scrap March Artist Team Challenge

Hello everyone, and welcome to Club Scraps March Artist Team Challenge! This month the March Challenge was to use Club Scrap digital downloads  for one of our projects. I chose to use them on my Beautiful Layout of my Grandma for today using the Club Scraps Delft Deluxe Club Kit & Boardwalk as well.

Now you should have arrived from Josette's Blog , however if you did not come from there, you might want to start at the beginning with Karen's Club Scrap blog that way you wont miss any of the Design Teams beautiful creations. All design paper, card stock, Stamps used are from the Delft Deluxe Club Kit.
I truly miss my Grandma, she was such an inspiration, not only was she my Grandma, but a Mom, Best Friend, and someone who would listen to what you had to say, and never was negative about it. Always tried to cheer you up when things were down, and have you look at the brighter side of life. Wow how I miss hearing her voice and spending time with her. She was so loving, and spent her time with you, we always enjoyed having my grandma come stay at our house for the day, have dinner, and then hubby or I would bring her home. All the sweet memories I have , I will cherish forever! Love you Grandma!!!!

Anyways now that I have tears, best move onto my layout! I chose these 3 photo's of my Grandma. One was from when she was little baby(1917) and then next I'm not sure what age she was. But the last is from when we had photo's done in 1991 , we did a 4 generation photo, I just cut off the rest of us, to make this layout just of my grandma. All photo's were copied in black in white years back, and now are being used, so happy for this!

I ended up printing out the borders from the Digital set, backed them with the dark blue from Boardwalk Club Kit, and then added blue sewing to each. The tag that I cut in half for this layout I just love, its absolutely beautiful, and there is room for writing.  I just LOVE the printouts of these, and love how they look on my layout for today.

The Yellow background design paper is from the Delft Deluxe Kit. I also used the stencil from this collection to use on the background of the photo matts for each photo.
Flowers were cut using white card stock, and then airbrushed using a blue and yellow copic marker and my air compressor. I added some flowers from Really Reasonable Ribbon to the centers of each Daisy. Dies used are from Cheery Lynn

Bows were created using Really Reasonable Ribbons blue shimmer satin. And the center pieces are from their clear rhinestone embellishments.

I hope you enjoyed my post for today, as I truly enjoyed creating this beauty using the Delft Collection and Digital Kit ! Please let me know what you think as I always enjoy reading your wonderful comments!
Thank you so much for joining us and stopping by!!!

Airbrushed Peace Dove

Hello everyone, and Happy Sunday to all!
Todays card was designed using 7 Cheery Lynn Dies, and I LOVE the way it has turned out. I did some airbrushing on the Gorgeous Peace Dove, Glass Flower Technique on the Williams Flowers, and some sewing on this one. But I truly love layering with all Cheery Lynn dies, as they are all Beautiful dies and easy for me to work with! I also used the BEAUTIFUL Club Scrap Delft Collection as these designs are absolutely Gorgeous!!!
Peace Dove was cut out using white card stock, I then airbrushed it with 3 copic color blues , and then added some liquid glitter to the wings and tail feathers. Its eye was done with viva pearl pen in black.

Next I airbrushed the little sentiment circle(LPC4 circle Die) using a green and blue, and the die as a pattern for the top. I just held it in place and airbrushed over it. Super fun and super easy to do! the die that is behind the circle is the Pierced Stacker #3 XL-21.

B307 Sweet William Strip Flowers- cut out in coordinating design paper, and then the edges of each flower were distressed using ink and a dabbing tool, I then did my Glass flower technique on them, and that tutorial can be found HERE under my tutorials. Lastly I added some RRR pearls to the centers of each.

DL280 Royal Scandinavian Doily was cut out in white card stock, an then cut up to place behind my 2nd layer on my card. Super fun way to use this doily on a larger square.

DL184 Sophias Heart doily was used cutting out coordinating design paper and placed on top of my layer 2 to give a base for my next layer which is the pierced stacker #3 and the circle LPC4

Greenery is from the B587 Step Card Bundle Set #4 these were cut out in white card stock and colored with copic markers.

Club Scrap Delft Club Kit- design papers used here are all from the Delft Kit. I also used the stamp too!

Pearls - Really Reasonable Ribbon
Sewing was done in blue thread.
Polka design paper is from a paper stack I have.
Cheery Lynn Dies Used:
Step Card Bundle Set #4Circle Pierce LPC4
DL184 Sophias Heart doily
DL280 Royal Scandinavian Doily
B307 Sweet William Strip Flowers
Peace Dove B605
Pierce Stacker #3 XL-21

I love how the blues look here, and on the dove. This card may look like it took long to make, but really it didn't! I think the longest part was doing my glass flowers, as you have to heat them and dip them, so that takes a little time, but well worth the results I say :)
Thank you so much for looking and I always love to hear what you think of my card for today! Happy Creating to all!
Hugs,
Cheryl

Hello everyone and Happy Friday to you all!
Today's sweet little card was designed for Really Reasonable Ribbons Spring/Easter Challenge that has started today & for The Project Bin Stamps! Hope you will join us at RRR for some fun!

On my card I chose to use the Stamp "A Friend is someone who reaches for yur hand and touches your heart" sentiment from The Project Bins "#bff" stamp set . I stamped it in Club Scrap Black ink using the Mini Misti tool.

Next my bunny die cut is from Cheery Lynn dies, and was already cut out for me :) LOVE that! Also the flowers were leftover from my card on Wednesdays post, so I just had to use them with this design paper I had out :) Its from Pebbles EverAfter collection. All dies used are from Cheery Lynn Dies and can be found here!

Ribbon is from this months Really Reasonable Ribbon Spring Rainbow of Colors (March Club Kit) I chose this pretty Blue color, and love it!

I also used Really Reasonable Ribbons Beautiful Flower embellishments! They work perfect for the centers of flowers.

Flowers were done using my Glass Flower Technique found here.

Layer 2- 5 1/4" x 5 1/4" dark grey card stock, then 5" x 5" design paper from
Layer 3 is Cheery Lynns Royal Scandinavian Doily , then cut in half on the diagonal. Next I cut my dark grey layer, then my shimmer layer that I used the IOE Thank you Wishes Folder and IOE
Square Plate

Layer 4-Next for the embossed sentiment area I embossed the Thank you , then cut out using the oval dies. Next for the dark grey I chose to use Cheery Lynns Fancy frame called Mirror CABD-74

Sweet Tulips Card

Hello crafty friends and Happy Tuesday to all! My card for today was created for Club Scrap & for Really Reasonable Ribbon. As you can tell I LOVE using this new Delft Club Kit from Club scrap, as it focuses on the beautiful flowers, and lots of the BLUES! Really Reasonable Ribbons Taffeta , works perfectly with this kit! I also used RRR pearls, & Cabachons. Love working with the Taffeta Ribbon, its absolutely Gorgeous and makes beautiful bows! This is what I call a Clean and Simple card. :)

On my card I chose to use the pretty blue Topaz Taffeta Ribbon and then the Cabachons for the centers of my bows.  I love how they match perfectly with my card here.

Stamping was all done using Club Scrap Delft Collection, and Copic Markers.

Pearls in the corners are RRR 8mm White Flat Backed Pearls

Its been a long time since I created my own design paper using stamps, and really love how this one turned out. I wanted to use the same stamp to create my sentiment area as well. But before stamping any sentiment or flowers, I used the Stencil Mask that came in my Delft Club kit and created a light background for my sentiment. You can see it in the close up above. I used a silver metallic ink pad to do this. Then I stamped my sentiment, and next my flowers, the flower stamped is from the Delft Jumbo Unmounted Stamp set. They were colored using 2 blues, and 2 green copic markers. The sentiment is also from this gorgeous set! I really had a lot of fun creating this card for today!!!

Thank you for stopping by and have a lovely day!

Sunshine

Hello everyone, and Happy Saturday to all! Todays card was created using Really Reasonable Ribbons beautiful Ribbon and embellishments. I am super pleased with the way this one turned out. And LOVE LOVE LOVE this ribbon! Makes for easy bows!

I love the floral pattern paper I chose, it started with a small scrap piece from Crate Paper Line I found in my stash, called "Little Bo Peep".  I LOVED it so much that I had to work this into my card for today. I had enough to do 2 layers, then to my surprise I found 1 more sheet in my stash, so I cut out the circle piece with that.
Ribbon is Really Reasonable Ribbons beautiful Geranium pinTaffeta ribbon found here. I added a big beautiful Pearl to the center.

Flowers were cut using Cheery Lynns Daisy Strip and coordinating dp/ they are done using the Glass Flower technique that can be found here under my tutorials.  I added the Resin Flowers to the centers of my die cut flowers. LOVE the look of these, as they are so pretty! There are many colors in an assortment pack, and I find myself using these more and more. They also are beautiful on the corners of the cards for embellishing. I also added some Green Leaves in the 30mm size and some branches for fillers.

Doily behind layers is called Royal Scandinavian Doily by Cheery Lynn Designs.

The sentiment tag was found in a drawer I keep a bunch of tags and such, and I thought it went perfect with the color combo here, so I added it :)

Lastly I did add sewing in a pale pretty yellow thread :)
Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful weekend!
hugs to all,
Cheryl
