CC897 Happiness Always

Hello crafty friends and happy Tuesday to you all! Today I'm sharing a second post, its a Memorydex that was  designed for the Splitcoaststampers Color challenge CC897 we were to use 3 colors, and I chose to make a Memorydex card to add to my spinner.
So for my card base I cut a 4 1/4" x 4 1/4" black card stock piece and layered with 2 design paper pieces from my scrap drawer. Next I added my white paint dots, and then cut a frame and ovals out to layer on top. Next I just had to use this darling gnome from Jaded blossom, so stink'n cute right? I colored his beard in copics and added some lines for hair. Next I wanted a sentiment so I used stampinUP! Whimsical Words and then 2 stampinup punches. The flowers are all from Really Reasonable Ribbon and can be found here.

Hope you enjoyed another short post for this week! Hugs to all

Disappearing Nine patch card

Hello everyone and happy Tuesday to you all! Todays card is an extra post and was designed for Mondays Splitcoaststampers Technique challenge. The challenge was to create a nine patch card. Love it! So this is what I created. Its pretty simple, and took no time at all to create. I added my die cut gnome, a dew drop to his flower, and some Really Reasonable Ribbon flowers, and a tag. Easy! Normally I love lots of layers, but really didn't want to cover up much of the background design.
Thank you for stopping by to see my card!
Hugs to all,

So Grateful

Hello everyone, and Happy Tuesday to you all!!
I am super excited to be able to make some time to play along with todays color challenge on Splitcoaststampers!  :) I just received this Beautiful stamp set in the mail, and had to use it. This is one of 5 sentiments in the new Autumn's Calling set from The Project Bin!

So this weeks Splitcoaststampers Color challenge is Yellow and Greens! I did use the browns for my neutrals :)

I also used my NEW Mini Misti and LOVE it!!! I got that from JustRite Papercrafts, and love how I can really place my sentiments, and keep stamping, if I missed spot! Also was able to place my sunflower and sentiment just how I wanted, NICE!!! So the project Bin sentiment I used today, was stamped in Memento black ink, and on white card stock.

The sunflower was colored using copics in Y06, YG95, & G99 , I then used the Glass technique on the flower part of this.

Die Cut frames are from JustRite Papercraft and are called "Hello Decorative Oval Frames"
Lastly I added a big bow made using Really Reasonable Ribbon Brown Shimmer Satin!
Thank you for looking and have a lovely day!
Hugs to all,
Cheryl

A Way With Words...

Hello everyone, and Happy Thursday to all!!!!
LOVE this sentiment "IT'S KINDA FUN to do the IMPOSSIBLE", this sentiment is from The Project Bin Stamps. LOVE all the sentiments they carry, as they are all unique and super SWEET!!! If you haven't had a chance to check out their site, you might want to stop by and take a peek, lots of Stamping Goodness there!
So on my card for today I used the Wise Men stamp set to create my card. My sentiment is a fun one, that I LOVE from The Project Bin. I stamped it in Pansy Purple and then again in black(to cut the banner out), then airbrushed the banner in BV04, and fussy cut out. Next I airbrushed the main sentiment in B00, BV04, and YG03 green(its under the flowers)
I then cut with spellbinder shape die. I backed the top with a spellbinders corner die cut.
The flowers are die cut using Posey Patch, and I did cut them out on a blue'ish design paper, and then airbrushed each flower with B00 & BV04, then did the Glass Technique on the flowers. I'm sure by now most of you know I LOVE making these flowers. I cant tell you how well they seem to keep their shape, and I LOVE that!

To add the green I used Really Reasonable Ribbons Seam Binding in moss Green. that was another one of the colors for Splitcoaststampers Color Challenge. The blue can be found in the Seam Binding as well. So the colors were 2 shades of purple, and a blue & Green. LOVE these colors together!

I used a CheeryLynn Die its the doily one. And then used some spellbinders dies as well.
The Design paper is GCD Studios, love this dp! its beautiful!

Coincidence is....

 God's way of remaining anonymous.
Hello everyone and Happy Thursday to all! My card for today was created for The Project Bin " A Way With Words" & Splitcoaststampers "Way to use it" Challenge.

On my card I used The Project Bins "A Way With Words" set "Wise Men" and LOVE this sentiment and all the others in this set! To see the entire set, please click HERE!

Today's Splitcoaststampers challenge consist of using a TREE, and I wanted to use this new set as I LOVE all the sentiments in it. I stamped my sentiment in Memento Black ink, and then used a spellbinders die to cut it out. For the coloring on it, I kept the die on top and then airbrushed using copic BG32 , that way the main image was colored to coordinate with my card.

Next I had a piece of a die cut frame laying around on my work station, so I colored it with copic R39 so it too would match up. I layered it on top of a scrap piece of pink card stock, and then used a circle punch to cut all four corners of the pink. Love how you can do that with punches to give your layers a different look

Speaking of layers -
First is my card base 6" x 12", score at 6"
Next is  the blue at 5 3/4" x 5 3/4", then the striped echo park "Sweet Girl" dp, and that was cut at 5 1/2" x 5 1/2". Next layer is a blue card stock at 5" x 5" , then red at 4 3/4" x 4 3/4", and dp at 4 1/2" x 4 1/2". next layer is 4 x 4 , then dp is 3 3/4" x 3 3/4", then add all sewing to all panels.
Main Sentiment panel is 3 3/4" x 2 1/2"

Embellishments would consist of Stickles, gems, sewing, and Really Reasonable Ribbon.
Challenges:
Clear it Out Tuesday/Spring is Here
Craft-Dee Bowz/anything goes with a handmade bow
Crafty Boots/use a sentiment
Craft your passion/Anything Goes
One Stitch at a Time/Anything with wings(my bird, and butterfly!

If I could wrap LOVE & Amaryllis Flower

Hello everyone and Happy Wednesday to all!
Today's post is going to be a short one, as I wanted to share my card designed for today's Splitcoaststampers Sketch Challenge. I try to join in on these at least 2 times a week, it helps to get some cards done for the year.
I loved working with today's sketch, as its a little different. I wanted to add some flowers, so I used the Spellbinders dies for these. They are done by distressing, and then using the glass Technique, and you can find that in my Tutorials. For the centers on these, I did add some red Glitter Glass. Always love using these, and it gives a little bit of a different look.

The Design paper is Bazzill, and so are the card stock pieces. I added sewing to each layer on my card, love how it embellishes the layers.

Tag- is spellbinders, and I cut it 2 times. Once in white, and the other in black. My sentiment is from "I Brake For Stamps" LOVE all the selection you can choose from. If you would like to SAVE 10% be sure to used SAVE10CHERYL at checkout.

Currently the other stem is working on opening all for, so I will have 8 flowers on this. I am not sure how long they will stay, but I am enjoying the beauty of these! I've had this for 2 years, and this is the 1st year its bloomed for me....hehehehe ok just had to share!

CC574 LORD ALMIGHTY

Hello everyone, and Happy Tuesday to all!
Today's card was created for 3 challenges/Splitcoaststampers Color Challenge, CheeryLynn's Doily Challenge , & ODBD Scripture & Lace Challenge. Absolutely so glad to be able to join in on these challenges this week, as for the last past week I had been sick, but much better now :)

For my card I started with American Crafts card stock in white(5 3/4" x 11 1/2") and fold in center at 5 3/4",then black cs for all the layers except the doily. Next I used G.C.D Studio's Ella Blue design paper, and spritz it with Tiger Lily. The doily I used is CheeryLynn's French Pastry. The circles were cut using Spellbinders dies, and then I spritz the sentiment layer with tiger lily,  Mister Hueys Cameo, and Walnut Gold spritz. I stamped my verse from ODBD Bloom set. And the Rose is from the Blossom set. I just received both sets in the mail, and LOVE them! I colored the rose with markers and then used Cameo spritz over it, and colored again. Made the color change a tad bit. The leaves behind are GLASS :) love these, I bought them years ago I think in the jewelry section at Roberts.

Ribbon is from Big Lots, and the lace is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

Sweeet Friendship

Hello everyone,
Today I have created a card for a few different challenges. 1st up is Splitcoaststampers Color challenge, Next is Cheery Lynn #223 Flourish theme Challenge, and then Really Reasonable Ribbons #135 Celebrate Theme challenge(Friendship) is what I chose for this one.

SCS CC572 So for the Color challenge we were to use Red, Green, and 2 different blues. I did the red flowers, green flourishes, and then the blue card stocks, that are 2 different shades. I also used HC design paper that I had left over.

Cheery Lynns Flourish theme, I used 2 flourishes for my flowers to create a vine for around the Doily. The Doily used is my FAVORITE one from Cheery Lynn and is called French Pastry!

Really Reasonable Ribbons Celebrate Theme challenge. I wanted to make a friendship card to send out. So I thought Friendship would be the theme on this celebration.

Card-
Base- measures 6 x 6 so I cut the black card stock 6 x 12" and scored at 6". Next I cut my darker of the 2 blues 5 3/4" x 5 3/4" then the dp for that layer was cut at 5 1/2" x 5 1/2". Glued together and then sewn. For my smaller panel, I did the same
Flowers - were stamped in distressed ink, airbrushed with copics Red, and pink, to create this color. Next I distressed the edges with fired brick, and then heat embossed with clear embossing powder to give the glass look. Love making these. Lastly I added some vintage pearls to the centers in different sizes.
Doily-Cut in black, then I used a spellbinders circle to cut the layer on top. I stamped Our Daily Bread Designs Stamp in memento black ink, and distressed the edges of the circle in Faded Jean.

Ribbon is from my stash!
Supplies Used:
Heartfelt Creations posy stamps and dies , Vintage pearls, embossing powder, heat gun, hot glue, glue pad, memento black ink, ODBD stamps, Ribbon, Cheery Lynn Doily , Spellbinders , sewing machine, ATG gun. Glass leaves

I really enjoyed creating my card for today! hope you enjoyed my post!

It sucks to get old

Hello everyone, Super excited to share my card today, as I have been working on using lots of my OLD stamps! Next I need to work on mailing out cards...YEP as normally I give those in person, well not anymore! Its my goal this year!

So this card here was designed for Splitcoaststampers Way to use it challenge " HUMOR" was the challenge for us. Use humor on your card. Well long story short, it took me about 2 hours to find a stamp among all my stamps....LOL and this one , I didn't even know I Had! LOL hahaha Card took me roughly about25 minutes to create, super simple I tell ya! Also made for Really Reasonable Ribbons challenge #135 "Celebrate with Ribbon or Trim!

I used some a 5 x 10 white card stock, scored in the middle at 5. Next I took some black scrap card stock, and cut the piece down to 4  3/4" x 4 3/4", then the dp at 4 1/2" x 4 1/2". Next the center piece I had left on my table and it measured 4 1/4" x 3" so I used it, and then cut the dp piece for it @ 4" x 2 3/4", then did my sewing. Next I cut the spellbinders frames out, and stamped my 2 unity images and colored them. super easy and fast to make, as this card is pretty simple. The Heartfelt Creations die piece was already cut, as I had cut it last week, but didn't use it. So figured I would on this card. My bow is created with really reasonable ribbon, and took seconds to create. I did add some buttons from my stash to the bow, and some stickles to the sucker.
Supplies used:
Unity stamps/ Itty bitty
American Crafts/Pebbles dp "Ever After"
Really Reasonable Ribbon/polka dot black and white, and pink satin
American Crafts /Card stock black and Bazzill pink
Heartfelt Creations / Die cut
Embellishments/Buttons from my stash and stickles

Thank you for looking!
hugs
