Happy Birthday Fun Fold Z card

Hello crafty friends, and Happy Thursday to you all! Today I have a fun fold Birthday card to share that Ive created for KaDoodle Bug Designs Birthday Challenge on Facebook. If you would like to join you can find the link HERE!

So my card today I designed using 6" x 12" pink card stock and scored at 6" and then 9" and then fold the 6" valley, and 9" mountain fold. Next I cut another piece of pink card stock that measures 5" wide, and 6" tall. that will be the front of the card. Then decorate. I used the darling Unicorn from KaDoodle Bug Designs and added a different muzzle and different eyes from another SVG from KaDoodle Bug. I use the matching tag and then some beautiful Really Reasonable Ribbon satin, and Robins Nest Dew drops. Ooo don't forget the sewing, I just had to add that too.

Happy 100th Birthday

Hello everyone, Todays card was designed for The Robins Nest Creative and for my Great Uncle Ken who just turned 100, wow! How exciting that is. I hope that one day I too can celebrate 100. So again Happy 100th Birthday Uncle Ken, and hope it was an amazing day!

For my card I wanted to keep it as manly as possible , but also wanted to do something extra special, so I chose to do my faux glass flowers. I do have many videos on doing these. Now for these here, I did use inks and water to blend them, and love the way they turned out. I always love doing the glass flowers as I feel they look so much prettier and just have a look of their own verses just doing the paper ones.

Next I decorated using the dew drops throughout the flowers as the leaves. Love this as I do this on lots of my projects.

My original post of this card can be found here on the Robins Nest Creative blog.

Happy Crafting!
Hugs to all,
Cheryl

Sweet Happy Birthday card

Hello crafty friends and Happy Friday to you all! Today's happy birthday card was designed for Really Reasonable Ribbon and for a friend who needed a birthday card so I made 2 for her to choose from. I'm loving these colors together and have used this design paper and flowers on other items as well.
so for my card I chose to use 3 different design papers for the front, and then the chevron for the inside. I added 5 layers to the front, and then decorated using the gorgeous flowers from Really Reasonable Ribbon. I love the large chrysanthemums that RRR has to offer, and there are so many colors and assortments to choose from. Next I chose to use the Red Open roses, and then the yellow cherry blossoms, white sweetheart blossoms, and rose buds. I hot glued all my flowers on top of my two bows made with the Chevron twill and swiss dots ribbons. For the 2 corners I used dew drops from The Robins Nest to create some flowers. Love making these for my cards. Lastly I added dots and sewing to all layers.

Happy Happy Birthday w /RRR

Hello everyone and Happy Monday to you all. Todays card was designed for my youngest Granddaughter for her 2nd Birthday & Really Reasonable Ribbon using the Gorgeous Ribbons they carry. She Loved it, and so did her mommy.
For my card today I chose to do some cute layers using design papers I just bought, and this sweet SVG file from Marjorie Ann, cut it out on my New Cricut Air Machine and loved making her. The bear pieces were all airbrushed using the copic airbrushing system and my air compressor. Next I cut out the number two using a die , and added it to the little bear. Super fun, however I need practice on these eyes, they kind of were a mess as the pen went through the glue. Next the Happy Happy Birthday stamp is from SU! and I used a punch for the scalloped circles. The bows were made using Really Reasonable Ribbons Gorgeous Satins, and I will list them below for easy finding.

Strawberry Sweet Card for RRR

Hello everyone and Happy Monday to you all! Today I have a super Sweet card I designed for Really Reasonable Ribbon using the Gorgeous Ribbons and embellishments they carry in shop. This card has tons of layers, as you all know I love layering, and also love bears.
On my card I started with a white 6" x 6" base, then added 4 design paper layers, all have sewing and white gel dots. Next I added 3 more layers using die cuts for the doily, shaped die, and circle. I stamped a sentiment that is one of my favorites, and I will list below. Next the darling sweet Bear is a SVG file, as I just got a new Cricut Air machine, and I'm loving it! I cut here out in brown card stock, red, and tan, and distressed each piece. The eye lashes I drew on, and then added lots of white dots, and black gems. Next the strawberries were cut using a die cut from CC dies, and they were colored using copics. Lastly I added my double bows and flower embellishments to the top, and then added the inside layer. Ive been trying lately to get all the insides of my cards complete, as that way I dont have to do it later.
