Club Scrap September Artist Team Challenge

Hello everyone, and welcome to Club Scraps September Artist Team Challenge! This month the September challenge is to incorporate watercolor techniques into your projects by using Watercolor paints, pencils or crayons, Gelatos, dye-based inks, etc. I ended up using faber castell's Pitt artist pens, pencils, and a gelato for my flowers and apples.

You should have arrived from Debbie's blog, however if you did not , you might want to start from the beginning at Karen's Club Scrap Blog , that way you won't miss any of the Design Teams Beautiful creations today.

I LOVED making this layout using the new Orchard collection and LOVE all the beautiful design papers, cardstock and embellishment that came in this months kit. I  chose for my layout today to watercolor all flowers, and then the stamped apples and color them with pencils from faber castell. I then used the glass flower technique on all flowers and the apple image. This page was super fun and easy to create. The thing that took the longest would be handmade flowers, and even then it didn't take me long at all. My page was very simple for me as I added 2 photo matts and my embellishments. Love how the apples turned out too using this fun technique. I did add a photo to show you what the flowers look like before using the glass flower technique on them.

In the photo above you can see how I watercolored them, and then how the look after doing the Glass flower technique on them. LOVE how the color is much deeper and bright.

Club Scrap Supplies Used:
Orchard Deluxe Club Kit
Orchard corrugated Tag
Orchard Jumbo unmounted Stamps
Orchard 12 x 12 prints
Orchard bottle caps with epoxy stickers
Ribbon and fibers that come in the deluxe kit
Orchard Embellishments Cutaparts
Permanent Jet Black ink

Other supplies-
Glue pad
clear embossing powder
Heat gun
sewing machine with green thread
faber castell
Doily from cheery lynn designs
hope you enjoyed my post for today, as I truly enjoyed creating my layout for today using the the beautiful NEW Orchard Collection! Please let me know what you think as I always enjoy reading your wonderful comments!

Club Scrap August Artist Team Challenge

Hello everyone, and welcome to Club Scraps August Artist Team Challenge! This month the August Challenge is Inspired by Pinterest’s newest feature, “Tried it”, the Artist Team challenge this month is to visit the Club Scrap Pinterest account, choose a Pin with a technique or tutorial that inspires you, then make pages, cards or other projects inspired by that Pin. Once your project is complete, click the “Tried it” icon on the Pin.

You should have arrived from Debbie's blog, however if you did not , you might want to start from the beginning at Karen's Club Scrap Blog , that way you won't miss any of the Design Teams Beautiful creations today.

So I tried 2 pins I found, I loved them both and couldn't decide between the 2 so I did both using Club Scrap Lagoon Deluxe Kit. One is the Envelope punch board Coin Envelopes by Tricia, the second pin I tried was the embossing folder leaves, but I did not use a folder, I used my score board and did the embossing that way. I had so much fun doing both these techniques, thank you Club Scrap! Both can be found here at Club Scrap on Pinterest.
The leaves I did were a light blue color that I distressed with club scraps green ink pads, I used two. Next m flowers were made using some precut die flowers I had in a baggy sitting on my work station, so I distressed them in a coordinating color. I did add club scraps pretty Teal Jewel stickers that came in the Lagoon Deluxe Club Kit., I not only used them for the centers of my flowers, but also for on the page too. Love how they look.
Envelope was done using one of the coordinating papers from the Deluxe Lagoon kit, and then I added one of the cut aparts to add a date on the envie. Inside is another cut apart that I can add the journaling for this page.

Papers are all from the Club Scrap Deluxe Lagoon Kit, except the white backing for the teal.

Sewing was added using a blue color thread, and I also added a Cheery Lynn doily that I cut up to make it look way larger than it is.

Embellishments- came from the Deluxe Lagoon kit, and are the starfish, mini tag, and stickers.

Ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon Diamond Satin The Photo's are from June 2016 and were taken at Woodward lake in California. Miesha met a friend and his name was Bo! hehehe they had so much fun playing in the water.

hope you enjoyed my post for today, as I truly enjoyed creating my layout for today using the the beautiful NEW Lagoon Collection! Please let me know what you think as I always enjoy reading your wonderful comments!

Club Scrap June Artist Team Challenge

Hello everyone, and welcome to Club Scraps June Artist Team Challenge! This month the June Challenge is"One Layer" using Club Scrap collections of papers and stamps. Our task was to create layouts, cards or other projects using 1 paper and stamps. This was a CHALLENGE for me, as you all know I LOVE LOTS of layers..hehehehehe

Now you should have arrived from Debbie's Blog , however if you did not come from there, you might want to start at the beginning with Karen's Club Scrap blog that way you wont miss any of the Design Teams beautiful creations.
For my 3 cards I used white card stock, and then combined the stamps from the Delft Collection and this months Pattern Play Collection.

I LOVE using lots of layers, so this was a challenge for me. I figured I would decorate with the beautiful floral stamps from Delft Collection, and then use the sentiments from Pattern Play. Delft has to be one of my many favorite kits.

I did use the stencil for the Happy Birthday and then the Thanks card. The other card was done using a piece of design paper, and then stamps. I do love how these turned out for being only one piece of paper...hehehe
hope you enjoyed my post for today, as I truly enjoyed creating my cards for today using the Pattern Play Collection and Delft Collection ! Please let me know what you think as I always enjoy reading your wonderful comments!

Club Scrap May Artist Team Challenge

Hello everyone, and welcome to Club Scraps May Artist Team Challenge! This month the May Challenge “Mash up” of Club Scrap collections. Our task was to create layouts, cards or other projects while combining papers, stamps or other elements from AT LEAST two different Club Scrap collections. I chose this months current Adirondacks kit, and the Boardwalk Kit.

Now you should have arrived from Debbie's Blog , however if you did not come from there, you might want to start at the beginning with Karen's Club Scrap blog that way you wont miss any of the Design Teams beautiful creations.
On my card I ued the prints all from the Adirondack kit(backgrounds and tree) I then used Club Scrap green ink to distress my tree. The blue and Red Design papers are from the Boardwalk Club kit, and I thought they worked perfectly with this card.

I kept my card simple for today, as I fell and sprained my ankle, and have been in bed icing now since Monday :( I wanted to make more cards, but haven't felt good enough to, I am just thankful I get to play along in this months Artist Team Challenge.

Happy Birthday to you was stamped using the Ruby Red and Blue Amethyst ink pads from Club Scrap and using the Mini Misti tool. This stamp came from the set called "Adirondacks Greetings Un Mounted"

The fish is from the Fishing Set, and the tree from the Camping Die Set came from Cheery Lynn Designs. The Doily frame is called Royal Scandinavian Doily

hope you enjoyed my post for today, as I truly enjoyed creating my card for today using the Adirondack Collection and Boardwalk Collection ! Please let me know what you think as I always enjoy reading your wonderful comments!

Club Scrap March Artist Team Challenge

Hello everyone, and welcome to Club Scraps March Artist Team Challenge! This month the March Challenge was to use Club Scrap digital downloads  for one of our projects. I chose to use them on my Beautiful Layout of my Grandma for today using the Club Scraps Delft Deluxe Club Kit & Boardwalk as well.

Now you should have arrived from Josette's Blog , however if you did not come from there, you might want to start at the beginning with Karen's Club Scrap blog that way you wont miss any of the Design Teams beautiful creations. All design paper, card stock, Stamps used are from the Delft Deluxe Club Kit.
I truly miss my Grandma, she was such an inspiration, not only was she my Grandma, but a Mom, Best Friend, and someone who would listen to what you had to say, and never was negative about it. Always tried to cheer you up when things were down, and have you look at the brighter side of life. Wow how I miss hearing her voice and spending time with her. She was so loving, and spent her time with you, we always enjoyed having my grandma come stay at our house for the day, have dinner, and then hubby or I would bring her home. All the sweet memories I have , I will cherish forever! Love you Grandma!!!!

Anyways now that I have tears, best move onto my layout! I chose these 3 photo's of my Grandma. One was from when she was little baby(1917) and then next I'm not sure what age she was. But the last is from when we had photo's done in 1991 , we did a 4 generation photo, I just cut off the rest of us, to make this layout just of my grandma. All photo's were copied in black in white years back, and now are being used, so happy for this!

I ended up printing out the borders from the Digital set, backed them with the dark blue from Boardwalk Club Kit, and then added blue sewing to each. The tag that I cut in half for this layout I just love, its absolutely beautiful, and there is room for writing.  I just LOVE the printouts of these, and love how they look on my layout for today.

The Yellow background design paper is from the Delft Deluxe Kit. I also used the stencil from this collection to use on the background of the photo matts for each photo.
Flowers were cut using white card stock, and then airbrushed using a blue and yellow copic marker and my air compressor. I added some flowers from Really Reasonable Ribbon to the centers of each Daisy. Dies used are from Cheery Lynn

Bows were created using Really Reasonable Ribbons blue shimmer satin. And the center pieces are from their clear rhinestone embellishments.

I hope you enjoyed my post for today, as I truly enjoyed creating this beauty using the Delft Collection and Digital Kit ! Please let me know what you think as I always enjoy reading your wonderful comments!

I love all the colors, and designs in this months club kit, as it makes it easy to create many scrapbook layouts. I've done 3 with this kit so far this month, and love each one the same! This one is so soft and pretty, love the border from the Cut-a -part sheet. I layered each design on grey card stock for this layout.

LOVE was done using the Lower case Alpha stencils Club Scrap sent us, and I have to say I LOVE stenciling on my layouts, and can see some stenciling in a mini album too. For the LOVE I used some inks in silver and pink. it was super easy to do and love the results.

Flower was created by fussy cutting one of the flowers and layering it using the Glass Flower Technique, that can be found here in my Tutorials

Bows were created using the ribbon and fibers that are in this collection :)
