Vintage Greetings(Birthday)

Hello everyone and Happy Wednesday to all!
Today's card was created for Splitcoaststampers Sketch Challenge & I Brake For Stamps using the Manly Large Vintage Auto Stamp. LOVE this stamp as its not only vintage, but its also manly, and works perfect for Birthdays/Fathers Day/or just to say hello!
It's funny, when I was all done with my card, I was taking the photo's and thinking something is missing...hmmmmm I thought maybe it was a BIG BOW!!!!LOL NO..... I thought maybe some brads or something, as I am used to lots of layers and embellishing. Anyways I am pleased with how this one turned out, as it is for a man, and im sure the last thing they want to see is a big bow....hahahahaha

Card Base is 12 x 6 and scored in the center at 6".
Layers-then cut my brown card stock at 5 3/4" x 5 3/4", the Polka dot(crate paper bundled up Noel) design paper is cut at 5 1/2" x 5 1/2",I did add 2 strips of another design paper down the left side, it is bazzill (Dino Mite sharp tooth) and then sewn together. Next the brown card stock panel is cut at 5 x 2 3/4"  and then the design paper (calico state fair)at 4 3/4" x 2 1/2", and sewn together.
Vintage Auto image was stamped in Memento black ink, and stamped on white card stock, then colored with copics E57, T0 , and C5, and then cut down to 4 x 2 1/2" and then I distressed the edges with antique Linen. Its layered on brown card stock, and that is cut at 4 1/4" x 2 3/4". No sewing to that layer
HAPPY- is done with Thickers
Polka Dot Ribbon- Cut to look like a banner tag.

If I could wrap LOVE & Amaryllis Flower

Hello everyone and Happy Wednesday to all!
Today's post is going to be a short one, as I wanted to share my card designed for today's Splitcoaststampers Sketch Challenge. I try to join in on these at least 2 times a week, it helps to get some cards done for the year.
I loved working with today's sketch, as its a little different. I wanted to add some flowers, so I used the Spellbinders dies for these. They are done by distressing, and then using the glass Technique, and you can find that in my Tutorials. For the centers on these, I did add some red Glitter Glass. Always love using these, and it gives a little bit of a different look.

The Design paper is Bazzill, and so are the card stock pieces. I added sewing to each layer on my card, love how it embellishes the layers.

Tag- is spellbinders, and I cut it 2 times. Once in white, and the other in black. My sentiment is from "I Brake For Stamps" LOVE all the selection you can choose from. If you would like to SAVE 10% be sure to used SAVE10CHERYL at checkout.
Ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon, and so are the leaves.

Update on my Amaryllis flower

I have never seen this bloom before so it was super exciting taking photo's of it daily. I thought it would have 1 bloom(one flower) but it has 4 in each stem. Currently the other stem is working on opening all for, so I will have 8 flowers on this. I am not sure how long they will stay, but I am enjoying the beauty of these! I've had this for 2 years, and this is the 1st year its bloomed for me....hehehehe ok just had to share!
Thank you for looking and have a lovely day!

SC582 sketch challenge

Hello everyone and Happy Wednesday to all!
Today my card was created for Splitcoaststampers Sketch challenge. Absolutely LOVE this sketch as it has lots of layers, and I love layers!!! I made this card last night before bed, and it took me about 35 minutes to make, as I had 8 flowers prepped, and 2 that needed to be done.

I love when I have extra flowers cut out, and it made me start thinking, that maybe when watching a movie I should bring up my cutter and start cutting them, to have ready to airbrush, paint, dust, or do whatever to. It really makes the card come together much faster if you have them prepped like I did :) hehehe
Anyways I used Heartfelt Creations Stamp sentiment, and then the Posy Patch die for the flowers, They were stamped but you can hardly tell, as I used Creative Inspiration Paints on the flowers to try to match up with the dp.  I used the color Burnt Clay! I then did my glass technique on them. LOVe it, and then added some pearls to the centers. these are a little different, s they have some glitter or something on them. Not sure what it is, but they are pretty! The branches are from Martha Stewarts punch, and the doily is from Cheery Lynn Dies!

The dp is from Heartfelt Creations too, and I added some sewing to each panel. The sketch is available on SCS here if you would like to join in on this fun challenge!

Thank you for looking and have a lovely day!

shabby chic sweetness

Hello everyone,
I wanted to share a card I made for today's Splitcoaststampers Sketch Challenge, using some leftover flowers I had cut for a LO. I stamped them in Tim Holtz distressed ink, airbrushed them with copic markers, and then heat embossed them to give a glass like look. Love the way these look in person. I did add some vintage pearls to the centers.

I also added some moss green leaves around them,as due to being sick for the last few days, I didn't have time to make my own leaves, otherwise I would have loved to have done the same techniques on the leaves.
LOVE the design paper, its heartfelt creations Daphne & Vintage Floret. Flowers are Posy Patch

SCS Sketch Challenge/Bella Rose

Hello everyone and Happy Wednesday to all!  Today's card is for Splitcoaststampers Sketch challenge that is hosted by Cathy this week. Love this sketch! Thank you Cathy!

So this is my second card for Cathy's sketch. I played around making my first card yesterday morning, and then uploaded it last night. However once I uploaded it, I decided to make another card "Bella Rose" I just LOVE this stamp, as I LOVE roses!!!

When I lived in San Jose California back in 1994 we had over 22 rose tree's and bushes at the house we rented. I fell in love with roses even more after moving into that home. Thank God for my Aunt Mary who knew all about Roses, as she was a Master Gardener. Anytime I had questions, she was always there to help, even sent me a book on how to take care of roses! Sure do miss her!Anyways just had to tell you a little about what made me love Roses so much! So now onto my card....hehehe
My card was pretty simple to make. As I cut my Blue shimmer Bazzill card stock 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 next the design paper was cut at 5 1/4 x 5 1/4 and then sewn together. For my panel I cut it and layered the same. Using design paper from Echo Park "For the Record2". The Beautiful Bella rose was stamped in memento black ink, and colored with copics. The rose was colored with copics B99,BG000,B45. The leaves were colored with G99,YG05,YG03,G24. I then cut out the rose.

Ribbons are from Really Reasonable Ribbon. Love all the ribbons Bonnie carries! Lastly the little brad I added is from American Crafts Warehouse Sale. I bought them back in 2013 wow, seems like it was just yesterday!

Hope you will join us for this super fun challenge! To do so, please visit us here at Splitcoaststampers

Happy Birthday Cupcake!

Hello everyone, and Happy Wednesday to all! Todays card was designed for the Splitcoaststampers Sketch challenge that is Hosted by Allison this week. Love this weeks sketch, thank you Allison!

I made this card using the DARLING New CottageCutz Birthday Release, and CottageCutz Basics.

On my card I cut out the CottageCutz Stitched Oval die in a pink card stock, and then distressed it. Next I cut the CottageCutz Oval one, and distressed the inside with a light pink. The brown frame is the CottageCutz Fancy Victorian Frame. These are all layered together to give a nice layered look.

Next I cut the Stitched Cupcake, Laurel Wreath, and Happy Birthday Cupcake all in White Card Stock, and then colored with copic markers. These are the colors I used to color all the pieces. RV21,RV11,RV34E29,E57,G24,YG03  I also added some fun glitter to the heart on the cupcake. Love the look of it~
