Floral Decorated Post it Purse

Hello everyone , Cheryl here today with a sweet Post -It Note pad purse made for Really Reasonable Ribbon using their Gorgeous Ribbons, flowers and charms on this. Its funny I have had this up in my cabinet for about 4 or 5 years now, and thought hmmm I need to decorate it. I will also post a before photo of what it looked like before I decorated it.

To start with I chose some design papers I had laying around, and LOVE, I used the Mod Podge to add my design paper, and then used it over the paper once it dried to seal. Then I decided I need to color the blue in, so I used black copic marker, and then let it dry and sealed it with the Mod Podge as well.

To decorate I chose ribbons from Really Reasonable Ribbon that I thought went well with the color scheme here.  The black is satin , and the pink is my favorite of the canvas colored band ribbons. I added some Chelsea Roses, , Rose buds, and rose to this beauty. I did also use the green leaves and the bronze leaves to finish this off.
Really Reasonable Ribbon Supplies Used:
Rose Buds
Chelsea Rose
Rose
Embellishment leaves
Black Checkerboard Satin Ribbon
Canvas colored band ribbon in pink
green leaves

Club Scrap October Artist Team Challenge

Hello everyone, and welcome to Club Scraps October Artist Team Challenge! This month our challenge was to create something to give as a gift. I chose to do one of my Post-it Easel Notepads, these are so fun to give, and the recipient always seems to LOVE these.

Now you should have arrived from Lilian's Blog , however if you did not come from there, you might want to start at the beginning with Karen's Club Scrap blog that way you wont miss anything. All design paper, card stock, Stamps, and Ribbon used are from The Club Scrap Literature Kit.
So for my Post -it notepad, I used the cricut to cut out the 2 card bases, then made an easel card out of both of them. Next I decorated the top part using the card stock, and design papers from the kit. They are popped up using foam tabs. I did distressing with Tim Holtz Distress inks.

Sentiments- I stamped them in distress ink, these are also the Literature Greeting stamps

Flowers were cut using the beautiful card stock shimmer that is in the kit. I LOVE all the design papers and colors in this months collection, they are absolutely Gorgeous!! I did use Cheery Lynn Medium Rose die to cut the flowers, and the centers are glitter brads

Ribbons- I chose to use the beautiful Plaid brown print, and the cream and red ribbons that came in the Literature Kit. LOVE them.

Leaves- these are moss green leave trim from RRR, I just hot glued it around the flowers.

Post - It is from my stash, as I keep plenty of these on hand :)
Thank you so much for joining us and stopping by!!!
Your NEXT stop is Kelly's Blog!

Hope you enjoyed todays hop!
Hugs to all,

Shabby Chic Butterfly Post-it Notepad

Hello everyone, and Happy Saturday to all!
Today I'm posting to share a Post-it Notepad I made, for a dear friend. We celebrated Janna's Birthday Yesterday at my house, with a luncheon and lots of crafty fun! We had a Blast!

I just had to use this beautiful CottageCutz Victorian Butterfly Flourish as I absolutely love airbrushing them. Not only is it easy to do, but I love the results! Next I added some glitter in a couple of pink colors to give it some shimmery bling. Love the way it looks in person!
The card base was cut on the cricut, and then just added some circle layers in one of my favorite Bazzill Patterns, and American Crafts Polka dot blue dp from the large paper stack.

Sweetheart Blossoms are the little flowers and those are from Really Reasonable Ribbon, just LOVE them, they are by far one of my FAVORITE flowers out there. The branches were punched using the old Martha stewart punch. I also went through my stash of stamps, and found a couple of sweet ones, that were perfect for her card/post-it.
The seam binding I used is a bright Pink called "Summer Rose", and can be found at Really Reasonable Ribbon. Bonnie carries tons of beautiful seam bindings, and I love them all!

Thank you for looking and have a wonderful weekend!
Hugs to all,
Cheryl
