Celebrate Easter

Hello Crafty Friends, Today I have a sweet Pop Up Easter Card designed for Cheery Lynn Designs using some super darling dies they carry. LOVE the sweet bunny and chicks together, aren't they just darling???!!!! I think I used 9 Cheery Lynn Dies on this one...hehehe I really had a lot of fun designing this card to share with you all!

On my card I started with cutting the sweet bunny out using design papers for her. Next I did distress her and her dress, she is so cute, love her! I will use her on other cards, not just for Easter. She does have one of the Tiny Flowers made from the tiny flower die. The chicks were cut using white card stock and then colored in with 2 yellow copic markers. I can totally see them cut in a yellow batik or some kinda 2 tone yellow print card stock, and then distressed, that would be so cute. I did add eyes using the viva pearl pen in black. Also another flower on one of the chicks.

Greenery was cut using the Olive branches and Flourish #3 dies, and cut with a olive tone card stock. I added little flowers made using the Tiny Flower kit to the greenery. Also used a LOVE Heart from the SweetHeart Candy die.

Frame was cut using 2 different dies for my scenery and sentiment. I chose to use the beautiful Mirror Mirror Doily Frame die, and the Scandinavian Oval Doily. Sentiment is from ODBD.

Happy Easter

Hello everyone and Happy Thursday to you all! Today I have a sweet Easter card made with Cheery Lynn's Beautiful Dies. Love the Bunnies die's they are super cute, and fun to work with as well.

On this card I chose the Bunnies for Easter, they are a perfect! I used just the one, and he was cut using an white card stock that came embossed with swirls, i think its bazzill, I just came across a stack of this card stock and thought it would look cute. I also wanted to use the beautiful Ornament #7 die ,and colored it with copic markers, as it was cut out in a white card stock. In love the ornament dies Cheery Lynn has, and need to add a few to my Wish List! The Garden Gate Die was a perfect match for this sweet bunny...heheheehe I also used the grass border, cut out once, and then cut it apart to layer for behind the bunny.  For my sentiment I  cut a pink coordinating design paper. I also used the Polynesian Sails Oval for behind all the top layers, it was cut in white card stock.

Really Reasonable Ribbons March Hop

Welcome to "Really Reasonable Ribbon's" March Blog Hop!

If you arrived here from Ginny's Blog you are on the right track. If not , you will want to head back to the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog that way you don't miss out on any of the FABULOUS Designs from the Design Team today! There is going to be lots of Beautiful projects to see today using the March Spring Color Mix Ribbon Assortment, so I hope you Enjoy!!!

Every month RRR comes out with the Perfect Ribbon Assortments, I just LOVE each month, and all the beautiful ribbons.

Today's card is an Easter Card I made to give to my Mom. I thought when I saw this months Mix that they were perfect for a sweet Easter card. On my card I used the Yellow Taffeta Ribbon, and the Pinkish Delicate Stitch Ribbon, both come in the Ribbon Club for this month.

Next I used lots of Beautiful Flowers that can all be found at Really Reasonable Ribbon, and I listed them below.
*Mulberry Flowers Pretty Flori Anemone Pastel
*Carnations Pink Mix
*Mini Sweetheart Blossoms Mixed Pink
*Rose Buds Ivory & Yellow
*35mm Green Mulberry Paper Leaves's

Iv'e been addicted to using the Scotch ATC Tape refill that RRR carries, not only is it priced cheap, but love how it works holding my layers together.

The design paper I used I just came across the unused Heidi Swapp Paper Stack in my paper stash, it was somehow hidden with the Graphic45 paper stacks, not sure why, but when I saw it, I knew it would be perfect for a card using the ribbons and embellishments from RRR and perfect for my Mom. I used 5 layers on my card and built them up using the 3-D foam tabs. Next I stamped the sentiment from ODBD on the front, and inside says Happy Easter Mom! all stamps are from Our Daily Bread Designs. I LOVE the Yellows and pinks all together on this card.

Bunny is a die I used from Cheery Lynn Designs, and thought how sweet it would be to have him in a print, and distressed. I added some of the ribbon and a little yellow rose bud. His eye is the black Viva Pearl Pen.
hope you all are enjoying today's hop, and hope you enjoyed my post as well! :)
Your NEXT stop for today's hop is Bonnie's Wonderful Blog!!!
Hugs to all,

Birthday Pop Up card

Hello Crafty friends and Happy Friday to you all! Todays Cheery Lynn Pop Up 3-D card is done on the outside and the inside, as I've used 2 of the NEW 3-D pop up dies for this. I also combined some of Cheery Lynn's other dies for my card. I am LOVING these 3-D Pop up Dies that Cheery Lynn Designs came out with, they are super fun to use!

To start with I used the Party! Pop up as the outside of the card, inside of on this inside. It can be used both ways. I then added some of the sweet Pebbles design paper to the PARTY! to coordinate with the card layers. Next I cut out the dress form, Oval, and frame all using the coordinating design paper in this line. Each front layer is sewn to give a bit of embellishing. I lastly added a Taffeta Bow to the front.

Cheery Lynn Supplies Used:
Pop Up Party B932
Pop Up Birthday B938
Antique Dress forms B882
Pierced Stacker #2 XL-20
M-7 Oval Classic-sm silver stacker layers 8

For the inside I used the Happy Birthday Pop Up and just colored it with coordinating colors. super easy and fun! I should have added sewing to the inside but forgot.

Chicken Pin Cushions

c
Hello Crafty Friends, and Happy Friday to you all! Today I'm sharing a Chicken Pin Cushion that I made using Really Reasonable Ribbons to embellish with. Its always nice to find other ways to use ribbon and laces, and I think this was a fun way! I Love how these turned out, using ribbons, seam binding, lace, flowers, and leaves all from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

So for the tail feathers I chose to ruche up seam binding instead of using material, I used this in place of it. This is the Rose Petal Seam Binding from RRR.  I also wanted to use some ribbons, and chose for my ribbon treatment on my chicken to use the Delicate Stitched Ribbon and Pink Canvas Colored Band with Stitched Edge Ribbon.  I used a Rose bud in Hot pink and 2 metal Antique Bronze leaf charms to finish off my ribbon treatment. The the top feathers I used the beautiful Lace called Arianna Lace.

Really Reasonable Ribbon supplies used:
Rose Petal Seam Binding
Delicate Stitched Ribbon
Pink Canvas Colored Band with stitched edge
Antique Bronze Leaf Charms
Rose Buds
Arianna Lace

The material I used is one of my Favorites, its called Welcome Home, its a cotton, and I love the shabby chic/Vintage look along with all of Really Reasonable Ribbons beautiful supplies. I used a lot of my favorites on this one. I ended up making 5 of these pin cushions some with feathers, and others with the lace and seam binding, super fun project if you like to give it a try :)

Here is a photo of 2 of the chickens I made. The smaller one was made from leftover quilting squares I had. I also used the same seam bindings, adding a white one, and then some white lace from RRR. the eye is done using a pin. Love how sweet these are. Such a fun project to make. To make these little Chicken pin Cushions you can view the YouTube video from Missouri Star Quilt company.
Thank you for looking and have a lovely day!
