3 Layer "Thinking of You"

Hello everyone, today's card was designed for Victorine Originals 3 Layer challenge that is going on right now on the VO Challenge Blog.

For my card today I used the Beautiful "Thinking of You" stamp that can be found at VOstore. I stamped it in Craft ink from SU! and used Creative Inspirations Clear embossing powder on top, then heated it up to make it clear. Next I did some dusting with distressed inks, and then colored some of the swirly vine with copics. For the flowers I used the Cosmos,Sweetheart flowers. and brown leaves from Really Reasonable Ribbon, along with the Brown Gingham ribbon. All can be found here!

The design paper I used is from American Crafts and is from the 6 x 6 paper pad called Crate Paper Farmhouse.

I hope you will join us at Victorine Originals 3 Layer challenge, and thank you for stopping by!
Hugs to all,
Cheryl

1st Project Life

Hello everyone, Cheryl here with my 1st Project Life page designed for Really Reasonable Ribbon. This will be for my youngest daughter Breanna.

I have never thought of making project life before since its a simple way of scrapbooking. But just recently I started working at American Crafts Warehouse Sale, and everyone is buying it up. So I thought maybe I could get creative and add stuff I love working with in this album. For my 1st page this is a little simple, but I will be working on adding other goodies to these pages for this album.

I left off all writing, it will go on the insert with the B. Next The title will go where my watermark is. I'm going to combine this with layouts as well, so it wont be a weekly journal like most are doing, its going to be more like a scrapbook, but done a little differently...hehehehe

I used Really Reasonable Ribbon,Lace, and trim on my inserts here.
Supply List:
Bead Trim (Pink)

Other supplies Used:
Project Life Page Protector
Project Life Baby Girl Insert Cards
CIP's Angel Dust
Glue Pad
American Crafts Pink Polka Dot flowers
Flower buttons with shanks removed
Sticker
Vintage White Lace, My stash

For the  CottageCutz vanity I colored it with cip's pink, and then used the glue pad to add glue to my pieces, and lastly added the Angel Dust Glitter to give the look to the vanity. The mirror was colored with a blue and grey copic marker, and then again rubbed the glue pad over it, and added clear embossing powder and heated, to give its look.
Next the cushion top for the stool,I added glitter glass to it.

For the area with the White Vintage Lace, I just glued the lace down first, then added the brown RRR Lace, then the Bead trim. I will add a Title to this area later on. I was thinking of Playtime. Not sure though yet :)

I hope you enjoyed today's post, this is very new to me, as I have never done Project Life before, but again was inspired by so many customers to try it out :) Also I think this would be a better way for me to scrap for my son, as I need it to be pretty simple. However We can always add Beautiful Really Reasonable Ribbon to any project :)

Cheryl

Angel "I Love you"

Hello everyone and Happy Friday to all!
Today's card was designed yesterday for SplitCoastStampers WT Challenge"Way to use it "Challenge. We were to use a Angel on our project, and this sweet Angel had come in the mail the night before, so it was perfect timing for this challenge. Not to mention this is my 1st SCS challenge in a LONG time. If felt good to be able to play again!!

For my Angel I cut her out in all white and then colored her with copics. For her wing I used Angel Dust from CIP's. I love this CottageCutz Christmas Angel from the Christmas Cheer Collection found Here, as she is so sweet looking! The CottageCutz Winter Pine Branch is from the CottageCutz Winter Wonderland Collection found here!

The dp is some I bought a couple of years ago and is DCWV and I LOVE this dp!! I did add some simple sewing to my card, and used one of my favorite layouts.

Branches and Angel are both colored with copics, and then I used Creative Inspiration Paints "Glitter" (Angel Dust)on the wing of my Angel. LOVE THE DP from StampinUp! I bought a few packs of this when it was on SALE, and have been wanting to use it now for awhile :)

Thank you for looking and hope you have a super awesome weekend!

Bella Ornate Birdcage Card

Hello everyone, here is a card I designed for CottageCutz using the Beautiful Bella Spring Corners, CottageCutz fancy Ornate Birdcage , CottageCutz Oval Doily and Frame die. Also my card was designed for Creative Inspiration Paints, using their beautiful shimmery paints, and embossing powders.

On my card I first picked a super darling dp, and then decided to layer the Bella Spring corners from each corner to give an added layer over my dp. I love the loo it gives, and you are still able to see the design on the paper.
For the Birdcage I cut it in black, and then embossed it with a Black Embossing powder from Creative Inspiration Paints. I LOVE the look of embossing the diecutz and love that they are EASY to cut out!

I next Used the Beautiful Ribbons and flowers that Really Reasonable Ribbon carries for my card today. This card was a super simple card to make, as there is no sewing and pretty much one layer of dp, so makes for a easy layout!

Thank you for looking and have a lovely day!
Hugs to all,

Springtime Strawberries

Hello everyone, today's card was designed for Creative Inspiration Paints using the beautiful shimmery paints on the Strawberries, vines, and frame.

I used CIP's Sage, winter Frost, and Rose quartz for my card today. I absolutely love how these paints shimmer. They really do add beauty to all your projects.

1st I had colored then accented with the CIP's on my CottageCutz Strawberries & Vines. Next I thought it would be a good idea to paint the Postage frame where the stamped sentiment is, however I should have sponged it before adding my pieces. Next time I will do it a little different then I did this time around.

Sweet Glitzy Carriage

Hello everyone and Happy Tuesday to all!!

Today I wanted to share the SWEET CottageCutz Horse & Carriage Die, along with the NEW Bella Spring Corner, both of them have LOTS of Creative Inspiration Paints "Resplendence Angel Dust" on them.

I Love the look of all the shimmer and glitz this gives. Of course I got glitter everywhere in my craft room, even on the CAT! Oh boy, poor baby!!LOL You think after all these years he would learn not to sit underneath me.....LOL oh well...

All the ribbons and trims are from Really Reasonable Ribbon, and I used the Silky Crush, Pink Leaves, White Sheer Box Pleated Trim. I use the Box Pleated Trim to make flowers. I LOVE making handmade ribbon flowers, I think they give that added touch to your cards, and mini albums.

In the bottom photo its really hard to see any of it. I think due to the angle of the photo. Anyways I had a lot of fun designing this card, and thank you for looking!!!!
