So I just had to share with all of you another Trinket box I made and decorated with this super sweet Lili's Stuffed Bunny stamp!
On Lili I colored her with copics, and then cut her out. I used the spellbinders die cuts for the heart shapes.

The flowers are felt and were cut with the Big Shot machine. I used the smallest flowers on the top were sent to me in a RAK awhile back by Linda!!! Thank you Linda I sooo love these flowers!!!!

I added pearls to the top, and they were sewn on by hand.

The butterfly was part of a ribbon strip that was sent to my by Nicole, Thank you sooo much hun I love them!!!!

The dp is from My Minds Eye "Love Nest" and the cardstock is from Papertrey! The ribbon I used is from Martha Stewart, and I picked up a ton of her ribbon for super cheap!!!!!

The Tickled Pink stamp was sent to me in a swap by Cheri! Thank you hun, im sooo enjoy'n this stamp!!! You know me all tooo well!! And everytime I grab this stamp I think of you!! And of course my favorite color PINK!!!!LOL HUGS!!

Giftbox with drawers for 2 challenges!

Hello again this is my second post for today :) LOL if you would like to see my Tile mini tutorial please see post below this one!!

This giftbox with drawers was made for 2 challenges.

1st challenge on SCS Inspiration Challenge

2nd challenge The Pixie Cottage get stitchy
The tutorial for this box came from Kristins blog here

On my box I used the stamp called What a Doll from the pixie cottage stamps.

This box was designed for a Christmas gift for a dear friend and I will put some crafting embellishments inside the drawers for her!!

For the Pixie Cottage Challenge you were to do sewing on your project. So I did sewing around the 2 panels. The top part of this box is a card attached to the box itself.

For embellishments I added flowers, gems, ribbon, and buttons for the drawer pulls.

Thank you for looking and have a very nice weekend!!
Hugs,
Cheryl

Tile Gift for 2 different challenges & mini tutorial

Today im sharing with you a Tile I made for 2 different challenges!!
1st challenge is the Inspiration Challenge on SCS.

2nd challenge is the Stampin' Sisters in Christ challenge.

As many of you know my hubby and I have been out of work since the beginning of Aug. So this Christmas ive had to get really creative and try to come up with some Christmas gifts to give. Well this is one , I will be making some coasters to match this, and im giving this set to my brother and his wife Melina.

To start you will want to stamp with staz on black ink, then bake for 20 minutes on 350 in the oven.

Let cool then add your stickles and embellish!!!

Side is covered with trim, I glued it on with the hot glue gun!!!

Now the back is covered with felt, and then I added a loop of ribbon to hold the pen (still need to buy the pens) lol

then I added a bow to cover the loop!!

NOTE: everything is glued on with a HOT GLUE GUN!! :)

And here is my tile finished!!! Thank goodness!!!LOL
Hope you enjoyed this little tutorial on how to cover a tile!!! :)
Have a wonderful weekend!!

FFF Color Challenge & The tutorial for the Heart shaped Giftbag!

Farm Fresh Fridays Color Challenge ! I love these colors together, for more details on this challenge please visit The Greeting Farm Blog !

Now on my card I had to use a different blue, I think it was close, but you dont have to use the SU! colors, just match them to what you already have
Today Im sharing with you my FFF challenge card, and another heart shaped giftbag/Tutorial!!

On all my projects I used this super sweet image from the newly released set called "Sweet Message"

I was going to make this a card and then decided it should be a notepad/notebook

Now on to my Tutorial !!!

I kinda changed a couple things when doing my second bag which is the pink one, so there are mixed up pics but I will explain along the way!! :)

Here is another giftbag I made on thursday for todays post!

I just love the new images they are sooo sweet!!!

Here is a side view and on this pink giftbag I used the felt to line the outside (you can see the outside from the sideview!

Ok to start with I used the Cricut George and basic shapes cartridge. I cut 2 5 1/2 heart shapes.
These will be used for the front and the back of your bag!
Next I cute a panel that measures 9 1/2 by 2 1/2 this will be used for the bottom and sides of your bag!
You will score the panel at 4" inches and then again at 5 1/2 inches. along the long side I scored it at 2 " inches, on both sides, or just score to make the inside flap be a 1/2 inch depends on what kinda scoring tools you use.

Now if you dont sew then what you will want to do is add your trims or laces, and then add some kind of heavy glue, like the ATG gun, or glue gun will work,
On my first bag I used the double sided red sticky tape, I find that the glue gun works best if you are NOT sewing!!

Here is the front of my heart. So the first thing I added to the inside is my lace, then added the felt, and then sewing!!

Here are the 2 pink ones done, showing the inside. Nice clean look . You can always add trim if you are not sewing to get a nice look as well :)

See the panel on the pink one is done with the felt. I added the felt to the outside of this panel.

Now on the first one like I said I used the sticky red tape, but on the pink one I used an Hot Glue Gun!! And love the hot glue gun better

To add a Handle just add holes to each side.
Then added ribbon leaving the cut piece on the outside. that way you can tie your bow on with the loose end .

Here is my first bag done!! I hope this tutorial was helpful!!!
Thank you for stopping by!!!
Please let me know what you think :)
Hugs,
Cheryl

"Cuddling Polar Bears Christmas Sandwich Giftbag & Tutorial"

Todays post is for Angels Landing! The DT was challenge to make a giftbag or something for Giftgiving! I wanted to share with all of you another Giftbag idea I came up with.

For this gift bag I used a Sandwich bag!!! Yes a SANDWICH BAG....LOL
Funny thing is I didnt have any brown lunch bags, or anything else, and though hmmmmm :) maybe this will work!
On this bag I used the large spellbinders, and plastic sandwich bag, ribbon, cuddlebug embossing folder, buttons, MS punch, copics, hot glue gun, eyelets!
To begin you will first want to cut your 2 dies, for the front and the back.

Next you need to cut your sandwich bag down to 4 inches, yes it will look a little taller but once you have it together you will see it wont be too tall :)

Next put your double sided red sticky tape on both of the insides, that way you can add your bag!

Here you have it together, and you will want to make a bottom strip to help hold it together.
this strip should measure 5 1/2 long by 3/4 of an inch wide. add sticky strip to it, and then attach!!!

Next I did a smaller die cut and ran it through the cuddlebug with the snowflakes :) and attached it.

Here you will want to adde you holes and your eyelets.

I wanted to show how I attach my ribbon before I cut it.

In this pic I still havent cut my ribbon. I kinda measure to give some extra to tie :) then cut, and do the same as I did in the picture above :)

I added 2 bows with the hot glue gun, my gun is from the 80's its OLD!!!!LOL

Here you will want to just embellish the front as desired :)
On mine I used these sweet Polar bears from Angels Landing. I also used the martha stewart branch punch, and some snowflake buttons. I use a shank remover to remove the shanks off of the backs of the buttons!!

Here is a side view to see the bag!!! I didnt want to cover it :)

Hope you liked my tutorial!!! Let me know what ya think:) And thank you for stopping by and looking!!!!
Hugs,
Cheryl

If you use my tutorial could all I ask is that you give proper credit!! Thank you again!!! :)
