Serenity

Hello and Happy Wednesday to all!
Today I'm sharing my card created with this Beautiful Zen Beauty Serenity from I Brake For Stamps . I am loving all the beautiful fairies in this collection, as they are all absolutely gorgeous! Who doesn't love a sweet fairy right??!!!!

For Serenity, she is colored with copics RV11, R85,R00,RV21, E57,E93,YG03,G24,YG95. I also added some Stickles in cotton candy to her wings. I was going to color the skirt part of her dress, but decided to leave it white.  Next time I will color it up!

Card layers-
Layer 1-Dark Grey 5 3/4" x 5 3/4" then the pink card stock, 5 1/2" x 5 1/2", pink stripes 5 1/4" x 5 1/4"
Layer 2- 4 3/4" x 4 3/4" dark grey, pink 4 1/2" x 4 1/2", yellow dp 4 1/4" x 4 1/4"
Layer 3- 5 1/4" x 2 1/2" grey, pink cut at 5" x 2 1/4" , stripes cut at 4 3/4" x 2"
Layer 4 - Grey cut at 3 1/4" x 4" , then pink is 3" x 3 3/4", image 2 3/4" x 3 1/2"
Design paper is from Recollections "All Girl" 180 sheet stack. Ok I Have to admit, I have had this stack for a while now, and just now really getting to use it. Its funny when we have so many paper pads, sometimes they get forgotten. I find that if I pull them out of my cabinets, and place them on the floor next to me, I tend to use those 1st :) sounds funny, but its true.

Embellishments are Shimmer ribbon is Pink Satin from Really Reasonable Ribbon, Button, and spiral stamen pink.

HO HO HO

Hello everyone,
Today's HO HO HO Merry Christmas card was designed for Really Reasonable Ribbon's Challenge & for The Project Bin Stamps. Awwww Christmas is my FAVORITE Holiday, and I absolutely LOVE decorating my house. I decorate every room in my home, even the bathrooms & Laundry room, I also have multiple trees that I decorate too, its Super FUN!!! This year I am hoping to be able to send out Christmas cards, as last year I did not!

Ok so for todays card we were to use Buttons & Bows for the challenge, and I did that. I used Really Reasonable Ribbons Shimmer Satin in Brown & Red! LOVE this ribbon, its super easy to use and the look is absolutely GORGEOUS! Buttons are from my stash!
Bow- I used Really Reasonable Ribbon's Shimmer Satin in Brown for the Large bow, then  I created a smaller one using the Red Shimmer Satin. LOVE the look of this!!!

Stamp Sentiment is The Project Bins NEW stamp release and this one is called "Maybe Christmas" LOVE the sentiments in this set! I will be back with more of these soon!! I stamped my sentiment in Memento black ink , and then placed my holly stamp and inked it up using StampinUp! Wild Wasabi color ink. I am using my Mini Misti and it makes it nice to place your stamps and keep inking them if you need to get a darker look with your ink. Like my green I wanted deeper green, so I inked it up again. NICE!!  I then added some red using the Viva Pearl pens. I surely need to buy more of these, as I LOVE using them!

Santa is a Chipboard piece I got a few years back at the American Crafts warehouse sale they have here in Utah. I worked their for awhile, and even for the company in their warehouse, LOVE it!!  Anyways for Santa, I used NUVO Pure Sheer glitter from JustRite Papercraft & Flower Soft in Polar white to decorate up Santa.

Design Paper- DCWV Tis the Season stack. LOVE the designs in this large stack :)

Hope you enjoyed my post today, and will join us for Really Reasonable Ribbon's "Button & Bows" challenge!

I Believe , I Believe!

 Hello everyone!
What a super CUTE sentiment! When I saw this one arrive in the mail, I was super excited to get working with this set from The Project Bin! LOVE all their sentiments, if you haven't taken a peek at the stamps they carry, you might want to, as you will have a large wish list......hehehehehe

"Maybe Christmas Stamp Set" by The Project Bin Stamps
So 1st I got out my new Misti tool and cut a piece of white card stock. Next I placed my stamp from the Project Bin "Maybe Christmas Set", face down on the white card stock, and then closed misti and it grabbed the stamp(LOVE this tool). Next I colored the sentiment with different color markers from tim holtz distress markers. I colored 2 times to get my desired look. I then cut it out using JustRite Papercraft dies called "Hello Decorative Oval Frames".

For the design paper I used Dear Lizzy + American Crafts Christmas Carols & Cards dp. LOVE this design! I also used for the lace layering Martha Stewart punches.

JustRite Hearts & Frames die was used on the bottom of the fancy layers. Its the beautiful die cut piece you see on the blue and red design paper.
The Ribbons I used are from Really Reasonable Ribbon. I also added a button and some string I had in my stash. Lastly to embellish, I used some red gems.

I hope you enjoyed my post for today!

Home

Hello everyone, and Happy Sunday to you all!
Hope you all are enjoying your summer, and getting to spend some time with your family and friends. Summertime is my favorite time of the year, as we can spend a lot of time outside enjoying the beautiful summer heat :) I love fall too, but I'm in no hurry for it to arrive....heheheehehehe

So today I have a card I created for The Project Bin Stamps(using the Fun is Good Stamp Set) & Really Reasonable Ribbon (using the Beautiful white satin, and white leave trim). I used the white Satin to create my bow, and then the white leave trim for the Glass flowers I made.
I love the colors on this dp, its the I Do Collection from American Crafts, got this for SUPER CHEAP, like 2.00 for an entire package, may have been cheaper, since it was 40% off that.

For my Sentiment I did stamp in black, and then used a stampinUp! marker to color the "I'm Home" and the little House!

I love making my glass flowers. These turned out ok, I can now see the different colors from the glue pad, I need to find a new one, but my local Michaels, and Hobby Lobby do not carry them:( I will be ordering online. The flowers were created using JustRite Papercrafts Floral Trio One dies. and using the Glass Technique on them. I also added vintage beads to the centers of each flower.
I also ran the white leaves under and around my flowers. LOVE how they look!
I hope you enjoyed my post for today!
thank you for looking and have a lovely day!
hugs to all,
Cheryl

Really Reasonable Ribbon August Hop

Welcome to "Really Reasonable Ribbon's" AUGUST Blog Hop!

If you arrived here from Judy's Blog  you are on the right track. If not , you will want to head back to the Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog that way you don't miss out on any of the FABULOUS Designs from the Design Team today!
This months assortment is PERFECT,LOVE all the Autumn colors in this collection! Isn't this a fabulous assortment!! I ended up using most of these on my projects. I will use the rest on the others that I need to finish up!

How fun it was to make the silverware holder
I Decided to use most of the ribbon to create name place settings, and silverware holders , and Treat holders, for my table for Thanksgiving. Love the way everything turned out, and will be finishing up 5 more settings, as we have 10 that will be eating with us. Super fun!!!

In the 1st photo you can see some of the settings( I have to finish covering the candy bar), and the table I made it smaller, by taking out the center leaf. It was easier for me to take photo's.  Above you see the silverware holder. I used Really Reasonable Ribbons brown satin as well as this months ribbon assortment. I did add some orange jute , Acorns , Leaves, and beaded embellishments were added. The bags were from RRR years ago, and I cut those in half to get 2 holders from 1 bag.
Sentiment is from I Brake for Stamps using the Fall 1/2" sheet I stamped the leaves in different shades of red, orange, green and brown. next I stamped the sentiment in memento black ink.

For the candy wrapper, I used the same stamp set from I Brake for stamps, and then a little die cut image. The ribbon is from this months ribbon club, and the flowers are Sweetheart Blossoms from Really Reasonable Ribbon. The design paper I picked up from the American Crafts warehouse sale a long time back, and got an entire pack of 25 sheets for 1.20 since i saved 40% off the 2.00 price!AWESOME prices.

This is my 1st year going all out decorating the table up. I did buy the chargers and pumpkin plates at Hobby Lobby. The Crystal I've owned for years, and glasses were my grandmas, I sure do miss her!!! I found the gold placemats at our Walmart, and the table cover is a drape panel that I had brand new in the package.....hehehehehehe I do own table clothes but mainly Christmas, so this will do.

I love being able to use Really Reasonable Ribbon in so many ways! LOVE them all!!!!
Hope you enjoyed my post for today! thank you for stopping by, and PLEASE let me know what yu think of my table setting for today :)
Your NEXT stop for today's hop is Bonnie's Wonderful Blog!!!

So Grateful

Hello everyone, and Happy Tuesday to you all!!
I am super excited to be able to make some time to play along with todays color challenge on Splitcoaststampers!  :) I just received this Beautiful stamp set in the mail, and had to use it. This is one of 5 sentiments in the new Autumn's Calling set from The Project Bin!

So this weeks Splitcoaststampers Color challenge is Yellow and Greens! I did use the browns for my neutrals :)

I also used my NEW Mini Misti and LOVE it!!! I got that from JustRite Papercrafts, and love how I can really place my sentiments, and keep stamping, if I missed spot! Also was able to place my sunflower and sentiment just how I wanted, NICE!!! So the project Bin sentiment I used today, was stamped in Memento black ink, and on white card stock.

The sunflower was colored using copics in Y06, YG95, & G99 , I then used the Glass technique on the flower part of this.

Die Cut frames are from JustRite Papercraft and are called "Hello Decorative Oval Frames"
Lastly I added a big bow made using Really Reasonable Ribbon Brown Shimmer Satin!

Kindness

Hello everyone, and Happy Wednesday to all!
Today I wanted to share a super fun card I created using the I Brake For Stamps "How Beautiful A Day" Stamp. If you would like to SAVE 10% on your order at the I Brake for Stamps store, use coupon code SAVE10CHERYL at checkout.

I Brake For Stamps- How Beautiful A Day was stamped in Memento Black ink, and then cut out using a spellbinders oval die. I kept the die in place and airbrushed some of the colors from the design paper. Love doing this on sentiments, its super fun!

Flowers are also done with JustRite dies, and then dusted with a pink stamp pad. Now they don't look pink, because I came in with some spritz in an orangey color, and spritzed them. Next I took the pink and did the edges of allthe flowers. I did use the Glass Flower Technique, Im addicted to this...hehehehe
I added some button embellishments to the centers.

Ribbon bow was created using Really Reasonable Ribbons sheer pattern ribbon(June Assortment), and then hot glued under my flowers.
The Design paper was some random dp in my stash. Love the summery look of my card for today.
Hope you enjoyed my post for today!

Also right now at the I Brake For Stamps Store you can find some super sweet stamps on SALE in the Deals of the Week found HERE!

Ribbon & Lace Paperdoll (Framed)

Hello everyone and Happy Wednesday to all!

So I just had to make another one of these Beautiful Vintage Paper Doll done in Ribbon & Lace. We made one for my moms doll club, and I thought how perfect it would be to use all Really Reasonable Ribbon on one of these :) So I chose to use the Delicate Stitched Satin Ribbon that Bonnie carries, and the beautiful lace too. Also I used the Mini Sweetheart Blossoms. On my 1st one I made all my flowers by hand, but for this one, I thought it would be fun to change it up a bit.

Supplies:
Vintage Paper doll (pattern from my mom)done with Ribbons & Lace(plus flowers)
Really Reasonable Ribbon Moss Green Seam binding for the greenery on bonnet , and bouquet. I rushed it up, and then added some of the Miniature Sweetheart Blossoms in Mixed Purple /Lilac.

The Bonnet- has some of the Delicate Stitched Satin from the Purple Assortment. LOVE all the colors in the assortment. The Greenery is the Seam binding Moss Green, and then I used a flower from the Miniature Sweetheart Blossoms

Dress- is done with the Delicate Stitched Satin in Light Orchid color ribbon. And the Lace is the Arianna Natural Crocheted Lace from Really Reasonable Ribbon as well.

Here above is a photo of her out of the frame. These are so fun to make, and it just shows you another way to use Really Reasonable Ribbon :)

Thank you for looking and have a lovely day!
