1st challenge is the Inspiration Challenge on SCS.
2nd challenge is the Stampin' Sisters in Christ challenge.
As many of you know my hubby and I have been out of work since the beginning of Aug. So this Christmas ive had to get really creative and try to come up with some Christmas gifts to give. Well this is one , I will be making some coasters to match this, and im giving this set to my brother and his wife Melina.
To start you will want to stamp with staz on black ink, then bake for 20 minutes on 350 in the oven.
Let cool then add your stickles and embellish!!!
Side is covered with trim, I glued it on with the hot glue gun!!!
Now the back is covered with felt, and then I added a loop of ribbon to hold the pen (still need to buy the pens) lol
then I added a bow to cover the loop!!
NOTE: everything is glued on with a HOT GLUE GUN!! :)
Hope you enjoyed this little tutorial on how to cover a tile!!! :)
Have a wonderful weekend!!
Hugs,
Cheryl

Beautiful! I never thought to decorate the sides.... How did I not think of that? You did a great job.
That is a lovely tile. And I knew of your job search and wanted to let you know you are often in my thoughts. Hoping something pops up soon. Lovely gift, anyone would be blessed to receive it. Thanks for participating in the SSCC this week.
Very beautiful and creative -- thanks for sharing how you did it. These are going to be very special gifts from you this year.
WOWIE WOWIE Cheryl!! I'm in awe of this, really! So then, would you use a dry erase marker for it? It looks like a glossy tile. It's so gorgeous. LOVE your decoration and the coasters to match will be perfect!! :) THank you so much for entering this in our GIFTS challenge at SSCC!! :) HUGS!!
Such a beautiful creation - I'm sure it will be very well received.
This tile is so beautiful! I love the idea of covering the back and the lacy sides!
