Sweet Alota Bugs Easter Card

Hello crafty friends and Happy Friday to you all! This week I've been sharing some Easter projects and today I have a card using the Darling Alota Rubber stamp called "Bugs Hauling Egg" it's an oldie, and one of my many favorite from Alota Rubber Stamps.

My card for today measures 6" x 6" and has 3 layers of design paper, and then the 4th layer is the stamped image. I stamped the bugs with egg in black ink, and then colored with copic markers. For the sentiment I used StampinUp! punches and punched out the sentiment and then airbrushed it. Lastly I added some Delicate stitched ribbon, and green and purple plaid print for my bows.

For my card today I chose to go with the green ribbons from this months collection. My card is 6" x 6" and I added 3 green layers, and then cut out some die cut pieces like the white doily, and then the shapes. My St. Patrick's day bug is from Alota Rubber stamps and he is an oldie, but one of my favorites, so I just had to use him. Next I 3 ribbons from the Ribbon assortment to use on my card. I chose the Delicate stitched darker green to run across my card, then the lighter Delicate stitched for my bow. I added some sewing, a little tag, and the Heart Cabochon for embellishments. Hope you are enjoying todays hop!

Hippity Hoppity Easter is today!!!Happy Easter!

Hello everyone and Happy Easter to all!! Today's card was created for this past Friday's F4A challenge "Bunny Hop" on Splitcoaststampers & for my Daughter Breanna for Easter. My kids are all grown, and I felt I needed to make a card this year. Normally I do a candy box, or basket, but this year I think a card and chocolate is good :) hehehehe

The bunny I chose for this challenge is from Alota Rubber stamps. Lately you've been seeing me use more and more of those stamps, well to be honest, I have Binders full of these stamps, and some drawers too. I figured they should be used, and not sitting. Its been so nice to get back into stamping, as before I was mainly focused on dies, well now I can combine and use a little of both :) NICE!
The Sentiment is from ODBD(Our Daily Bread Design) and is stamped in Memento black ink on the cut out stitched circle that is a CottageCutz die. Now the heart one behind is Spellbinders, and its cut in Yellow Bazzill Bling Card Stock. Oooo I LOVE this card stock!!! Its absolutely Beautiful!!!

For the patch of flowers, I used these plastic type flowers, I bought at the warehouse sale a few years back. I did stock up on them. And for beneath the flowers I punched out green Bazzill bling card stock using Martha Stewarts branch punch.. The Yellow brads are also from the warehouse sale, as I think back then I bought 20 for 10.00 but if you spent 20, you saved 5.00 off, so I would buy 40 for 15.00, and that is a DEAL!! Also the one year Ibought a HUGE box of embellishments and stickers for like 24.00 out the door. it was amazing!!! Ok back to my card....heheheheheh

The ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon, and the paper is My Creations Inc. I had this paper for years just sitting in stacks of sheets of 12 x 12 design papers. I am so HAPPY I found it!!

I did add some stickles to my bunny. I love the glittery look it gives.

Hope you all are enjoying your Easter with Family & Friends!!
hugs to all,
Cheryl

Alota Easter Wishes

Hello everyone and Happy Saturday to all!!
Todays card was created for Thursdays "Way to Use it" Challenge on Splitcoaststampers! Love playing in their challenges .

For my card I used 1 of my MANY Alota Rubber Stamps! OMgosh I forgot how many I had.....LOL hundreds I tell ya, and  These SWEET Easter chicks are absolutely DARLING!

Todays challenge is to use book pages or print. well I went with the print, as 99% of my books are packed away in the attic, and I would never want to take pages from a book, I could from a Magazine, but never one of my books. Maybe I need a sweet cheap book to keep in the craft room for using pages...hehehe

My image was stamped in memento black ink, and colored with copic markers, I then cut it out using a circle die, and then backed that with a scalloped one. I airbrushed the sky, and the grass.

Next I used Pink Paislee dp for the print. its the one you ink up, spritz, or do whatever you like with. I airbrushed the edged in pink copics. My Easter dp is leftover from my stash, and thought it would work perfect. I hope i can find more of this in my stash somewhere...hehehe

I used Ribbon, Candy Dots, Button, and Twine to complete my card for today!

Thank you for looking and have a wonderful day!
hugs to all,
cheryl
