Girly Glitz Skull Mini Album & Video

I'm super EXCITED to share my Girly Glitz Skull Mini Album today designed for Really Reasonable Ribbon. I had started the cover of my album Last year, and did the crackle effect on the skulls then. However when I got hurt, everything was put on hold. So I decided it was time to finish her up!

So for my album I used on the front cover some Black Jute, Double Ruffled Edge Ribbon, Satin Polka Dot, and Black Satin to bind my album. All are from Really Reasonable Ribbon. In my video I show and tell how I did my album and what ribbons I used throughout.

This page on the left opens,and you will see that in my video. I made a couple of pockets to add photos and tags for writing. Can't wait to add some Halloween photos of the kids and hubby and I :)

For the right page here I used the CottageCutz Seed Packet Die for the swivel pockets and I will add some photos to the inside of each of those.

This is the last page and is the backside of my Skull Mini Album. I used the CottageCutz Lace Envelope on the back.  Its been a habit of mine lately to add one to each album on the back. I used more RRR and Lace for this page :)

These Calendars are ADDICTING to make, and I really had a lot of fun making these so far. I will be making more in the next few weeks, so I can put the entire Calendar together, and then do a video on the entire calendar for you all.

I LOVE the NEW Pom Poms Trim, and will be ordering more colors of this. I Know its perfect for scrapbook pages, Mini Albums, and Cards and other fun projects that we all make!  I left 2 spots for Photo's as I will be sending this entire Calendar to a dear friend Joanne. I used the Pink Peony CottageCutz die to make the flowers, and the CottageCutz Greenery was cut using a moss green polka dot dp. I added some brads to the centers. The CottageCutz Love tag was cut with white card stock and then I just placed the June sticker on it, easy peasy right??!!!!!

If you haven't made one of these yet, you will want to! they will make the perfect Christmas gift and I plan on making 2 more for Christmas gifts for this year, lets see if I can get them done...hehehehehe Hopefully :)

♥♥♥CottageCutz Z-Tri fold♥♥♥

Hello everyone, here is another type of Z fold I made for The Scrapping Cottage, using CottageCutz sweet Kitty with Heart. This one is called the Z - Tri Fold card. 

I love using these AWESOME CottageCutz dies, they are super fun and EASY to use! For my card today I used the  Sweet CottageCutz Kitty w/heart

On to my card. I made a Z Tri Fold, i love making different folds so ive been trying to make ones that i havent seen out there yet. These are super fun, and can be used for pictures and lots of writing. there is room for writing on the inside, and the back, you can even make pockets like ive done with my Z-Gate Folds too.

for my sweet CottageCutz kitty with heart i dusted her with antique linen distressed ink. Her bow is colored with copics. For the flowers I used the sweet whimsy bird and cage die to get the smaller flowers, i cut those out of dp from My Little Shoebox.

Im LOVING the CottageCutz Pennants, I have to say they are super FUN to use, and ive been using them on a lot of my cards lately. I also think they would be perfect for mini albums and layouts!! The stickers are from My Little Shoebox and so is my design paper! I used Really Reasonable Ribbons. Fiber is some I bought from a crafting friend. I added some pearls to the little flowers.

Here is my card Open! As you can see Plenty of room for writing, you can add some white card stock for the left side and write on it, also on the back too.

CottageCutz Flower Pot House/ &Video Tutorial

Hello everyone today and Happy Friday to all! Today's post is using CottageCutz Flower Pot House, and I also have a Video on how I colored and cut this house to create a fold down pocket.

All Dp is from My Little Shoebox

My Card is a double Bi-Fold Card! I also used the Bi-Fold on the Flower Pot House as well!!

To create this I used the DARLING CottageCutz Flower Pot House & Love Tags set. I just LOVE this DARLING Flower Pot its super cute, and on mine i left off the window and door. You can decorate it with all the little decorations that come in the CottageCutz.

You have options with this CottageCutz

You can make like a pocket, adding tape along the sides of the folder piece, or cut just one Flower Pot and add tape along the bottom and sides. I wanted a fold down pocket, to give room to WRITE :)

I added the Love Tag to the bottom of the Flower Top to create a pull tab for this tag, it also keeps the folded area closed like a pocket.

I think this Flower Pot House would be PERFECT for layouts,and Mini Albums too!!

♥Sweetheart layout♥

♥Hello everyone and Happy Sunday to all! ♥

Today's Layout was designed for Really Reasonable Ribbon!

Also I do have another update on my surgery, it went well on Thursday, and my doctor was able to close up my wound and he also took out the hardware on the left side of my left ankle. Of course im trying to keep my pain under control with meds and lots of ice. 

♥Now on to my Layout♥

I was super excited to be able to make this layout today, since i really havent wanted to craft much lately, but for some reason yesterday i wanted to make flowers in BED.....LOL I did, I made all these beautiful Sweetheart Flowers with The Scrapping Cottage "SweetHeart Flowers" Cottage Cutz,in bed and then  put them together in bed as well.....LOL

 LOVE this die as there are many different ways to create flowers. I should have 2 video's coming soon, well this month soon.... :)

I was going to share a photo album I had started prior to my surgery on thursday,which by the way went well from what my hubby said. :) Im still in pain, but im sure that will go away soon.

♥So instead i made flowers in bed and then did my layout. Hubby took the pictures for me, thank you Jerry!!!♥ 

I love the look of the leaves wrapped around the flowers , its super easy to do, and gives my paper flowers some leaves:)

So I used 3 ribbons for the border across my page, and then I used the green leaves for around my handmade paper flowers♥♥♥Video coming soon♥♥♥

♥♥So for the ribbon border I used the white satin gathered ruffled ribbon, and the red double ruffled edge ribbon and used both sizes ofscor-tape to hold them together and on my card. For my tag i used the red double ruffled to tie, and the mini satin swiss in lemon.

I made my bow with the Silky Crush in white, LOVE this stuff too!!! It makes such easy bows.

♥My Kitty Bee Sweet is a Cottage Cutz die and was meant to be a Bee, but i wanted her to be a LadyBug instead......hehehehehehee

All the hearts and tag are also Cottage Cutz die's.  

♥For my flower center i used a ladybug button. and for my Kitty I usedRRR Black Pearls for the eyes and for the wings of my ladybug.

♥ The design paper I used is from My Little Shoebox and im soo in ♥♥♥ with this design paper!!!

Getting Scrappy w/Cottage Cutz

Well I'm super excited to share with you this DARLING Cottage Cutz 

♥♥"Mouse with Sunflower" die♥♥ from The Scrapping Cottage !

♥Most of the time I cut all my pieces out with white card stock and color them with copic markers, im not sure why, but it ends up being that way.....hehehehehehe so for my sweet little mouse she is cut out with cryogen white card stock, and colored with copics. Next her eyes are black pearls, i love using the pearls for eyes. The sunflower is popped with foam squares and so is the butterfly, ooo and i also used the pearls on it too♥

♥♥I also use the most darling paper from My Little Shoebox, and the clouds are from there as well, just love this design paper, its sooo sweet!!!♥♥

♥♥♥For the clouds i just wrote the "thinking of you" on each cloud and then did a little bit of color along the bottom of the clouds and top of some. I used Really Reasonable Ribbon and tied it into knots and then hot glued the clouds to the ribbon, gives for a different look i think♥♥♥
