It sucks to get old

Hello everyone, Super excited to share my card today, as I have been working on using lots of my OLD stamps! Next I need to work on mailing out cards...YEP as normally I give those in person, well not anymore! Its my goal this year!

So this card here was designed for Splitcoaststampers Way to use it challenge " HUMOR" was the challenge for us. Use humor on your card. Well long story short, it took me about 2 hours to find a stamp among all my stamps....LOL and this one , I didn't even know I Had! LOL hahaha Card took me roughly about25 minutes to create, super simple I tell ya! Also made for Really Reasonable Ribbons challenge #135 "Celebrate with Ribbon or Trim!

I used some a 5 x 10 white card stock, scored in the middle at 5. Next I took some black scrap card stock, and cut the piece down to 4  3/4" x 4 3/4", then the dp at 4 1/2" x 4 1/2". Next the center piece I had left on my table and it measured 4 1/4" x 3" so I used it, and then cut the dp piece for it @ 4" x 2 3/4", then did my sewing. Next I cut the spellbinders frames out, and stamped my 2 unity images and colored them. super easy and fast to make, as this card is pretty simple. The Heartfelt Creations die piece was already cut, as I had cut it last week, but didn't use it. So figured I would on this card. My bow is created with really reasonable ribbon, and took seconds to create. I did add some buttons from my stash to the bow, and some stickles to the sucker.
Supplies used:
Unity stamps/ Itty bitty
American Crafts/Pebbles dp "Ever After"
Really Reasonable Ribbon/polka dot black and white, and pink satin
American Crafts /Card stock black and Bazzill pink
Heartfelt Creations / Die cut
Embellishments/Buttons from my stash and stickles

Thank you for looking!

Floral Tea Time

Hello everyone, and Happy Saturday to all!! Today I'm sharing my Floral Tea Time card I made for Really Reasonable Ribbon & The Scrapping Cottage.

On my card for today I used the Sweet CottageCutz "Teacup & Flowers" Die, cut it out in white, and then colored it with Copic markers. Next I added some of the Viva Pearl Pen for dots on the bottom and top of the cup.

The Flowers, Moss Green Leave Trim, Polka Dot Satin Ribbon, and Seam binding are all from Really Reasonable Ribbon and can be found here. I used Glory Blue Seam Binding for behind my bow. My bow is Swiss Dots Lemon, and the leaves trim is Moss Green Leaves. Next I used the Sweetheart Blossoms flowers from Really Reasonable Ribbon, and glued them onto the trim.

The stamped Ticket is from Unity stamps, and the Design Paper is from American Crafts.

Thank you for stopping by, and I hope you all have a super wonderful weekend!

Shabby Chic Floral Delight "24 Years" page

Hello, Friends!
Today I have yet another Shabby Chic page to share. This one is "24 Years"  hubby & I had our 24th Anniversary this year on June 24th, so I decided to make this page for our photo.

Again on this page I used Really Reasonable Ribbons seam binding, and Sweetheart Blossoms to create the floral piece at the top and along the side. I also used the same in the bottom right hand corner, along with a CottageCutz Garden Delight butterfly.

The Happiness Free stamp is another Unity stamp I love using, as I love the ticket stamps, they are perfect for mini albums. The heart is from one of the flourish packs, and thought it was perfect for this page. For my banners I used the American Crafts Thicker Pennants, and ran seam binding through both of the banners.

Thank you for looking and have a lovely day!
Hugs to all,
Cheryl

Shabby Chic Floral Delight "Best Friends" page

As promised, I'm back with another page from my Shabby Chic Floral Delight Mini Album! I absolutely LOVE the way this album turned out, and cant wait to share the Video with you all!!

Again for this page I used handmade flowers,Really Reasonable Ribbons Sweetheart Blossoms, and CottageCutz ivy Die. I also had to use more of those beautiful Thicker pennants, as I just love them! I hope I can get more of these!!

I layered pieces of the CottageCutz Oval Doily & Frame die, just cutting pieces of the doily part, and placing it beneath the scalloped frame(for photo). I guess you could say I left this page pretty simple, as I was rushed and really should have added some kind of hidden pocket, I will have to do that on my next album.

The ticket stamp is a Unity stamp, and I sure do love these ticket stamps, wish I could get a bunch of these with different sentiments on them. I only have 2 sets from unity, and 1 from SU! If any of you know of a stamp company that sells these in different wording please let me know, I would so appreciate it!

Thank you for looking and hope you will come back and see more of my Shabby Chic Floral Delight pages this week!
Hugs to all,
Cheryl

Hello everyone and Happy Sunday to all! Cheryl here with my Shabby Chic "Happy Birthday" Z fold card for Really Reasonable Ribbon.

I had a few crafters ask how I made my Z fold card , so I decided to do a video on it, you can view it below :) Hope you enjoy and cant wait to see your Z-Fold Card!!!

Here are the written measurements I used
Card Base
1- 12 x 6 piece of card stock(base of card)
2 6 x 6 pieces of card stock (for base of card)
Card Layers
3- 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 pieces of colored card stock(for layering)
3- 5 1/4 x 5 1/4 pieces of design paper
1 5 x 5 piece of card stock(for smaller front piece) as shown in video
1- 4 3/4 x 4 3/4 piece of design paper
Hidden message pull tab
5 x 5 1/4 in colored card stock
4 1/2 x 4 3/4 for white to layer on card stock for pull tab hidden message, you can cut a piece the same size for the back as well, to have more room for writing.
2- 6 x 6 pieces of card stock (Base of card)

For my card I used lots of Pink Satin Really Reasonable Ribbon(MY FAV). I also used the pink and white satin with polka dots for the one handmade flower on the front of my card and the inside of my card. I used 3 different widths of Pink Satin and they can be found here.

I love the fold of this card, it gives plenty of room for stamping, and writing. I did make the pocket for the pull card(secret writing), however I didnt make my pull card for this one yet. I did a lot of distressing on the CottageCutz Frames I used. I LOVE these new frame dies, they are sweet.

The Ribbon Flower Rosette was handmade using Really Reasonable Ribbon's Satin and Scor-Tape I will post my video below

I used the spooled Satin from RRR,however you can buy the ribbon in yardsinstead :)

Ribbon Rosette Flowers Video, super easy to make!
Used:
Really Reasonable Ribbon Satin 5/8" inch
Scor-Tape 1/2"
2 circle punches 1" or a little over
and 3/4"
Bling, or a button, or brad for center

I will have to redo my video for the z-fold, I didnt realize that you cant upload on here that long of a video, so I will have to do a 2 part one :)
Card Open. I also used all unity stamps on my card, Buttons, flowers, and handmade roses. I wanted to run the ribbon through the tea time doily and loved using the 1/4" satin for this. I'm entering my card for the 1st time in Unity's Color challenge here/Pink Green andoff white

Thank you all for looking and have a lovely day!! Hope you enjoyed my video on the Ribbon Flower Rosette's :)
Hugs to all,
