I love this months Adirondacks kit, and love how this page turned out. I think it will work perfect for some travel photos from this year when we take our trip in July.

I chose to use the design paper 12 x 12 sheet, and then the stencil for the word Journey. I distressed it using a dabber and distress inks.

For the Title Adventure Awaits, I cut it out of another 12 x 12 design paper sheet, and layered it with card stock.

The photo Matts are the rust color card stock from the kit, and the brown I added from my stash.

Flowers - were made using Cheery Lynn dies, and the brown design paper from this months kit. Love how they turned out for my page today.

Journaling tag was made using one of the borders from the cut-a-part sheets, then stamped using the duck stamp, and stencils.

Supplies used:
Adirondack Deluxe Kit
Arrows and word stencil
Adirondacks Embellishment Cut A Parts
Adirondacks Jumbo Unmounted Stamps

Cheery Lynn Dies, Glitter, glue, inks, sewing
Here is the journaling tag I created using the border , stamps, and stencil from Adirondack deluxe kit.

Club Scrap May Artist Team Challenge

Hello everyone, and welcome to Club Scraps May Artist Team Challenge! This month the May Challenge “Mash up” of Club Scrap collections. Our task was to create layouts, cards or other projects while combining papers, stamps or other elements from AT LEAST two different Club Scrap collections. I chose this months current Adirondacks kit, and the Boardwalk Kit.

Now you should have arrived from Debbie's Blog , however if you did not come from there, you might want to start at the beginning with Karen's Club Scrap blog that way you wont miss any of the Design Teams beautiful creations.
On my card I ued the prints all from the Adirondack kit(backgrounds and tree) I then used Club Scrap green ink to distress my tree. The blue and Red Design papers are from the Boardwalk Club kit, and I thought they worked perfectly with this card.

I kept my card simple for today, as I fell and sprained my ankle, and have been in bed icing now since Monday :( I wanted to make more cards, but haven't felt good enough to, I am just thankful I get to play along in this months Artist Team Challenge.

Happy Birthday to you was stamped using the Ruby Red and Blue Amethyst ink pads from Club Scrap and using the Mini Misti tool. This stamp came from the set called "Adirondacks Greetings Un Mounted"

The fish is from the Fishing Set, and the tree from the Camping Die Set came from Cheery Lynn Designs. The Doily frame is called Royal Scandinavian Doily

hope you enjoyed my post for today, as I truly enjoyed creating my card for today using the Adirondack Collection and Boardwalk Collection ! Please let me know what you think as I always enjoy reading your wonderful comments!

Buttons & Bows Minnie Banner, sign, & Treat Bags

Hello everyone,
Happy Wednesday to all! Today i have a few things to share that I made for my Granddaughters 1st birthday using Really Reasonable Ribbon & Embellishments. I LOVE how everything turned out, we had a lot of fun doing this sweet party for our dear Granddaughter Chloey. My daughter helped with with the treats and the wrappers for the candy bars. Lots of fun!

In the 1st photo we made a sign for the treat table, I added a big bow using Really Reasonable Ribbons 7/8" Circus Grosgrain dots. in Geranium pink.

For the banner I cut out all the Minnie mouse heads, and added the letters that I cut using the cricut. I then made a ton of bows, and added buttons to the centers. These were made also using the 7/8" Grosgrain Circus dots.
To hold the banner together I used RRR Delicate Stitched Satin in Pearl Pink

Treat bags-
I made the bows with the black circus dots, and then added the super sweet flatbacked candy resin dots for the centers of all the bows on these sweet candy bags. I was able to print off these celebrate Mickey and Minnie heads for my treat bags. The dies I used are Cheery Lynn

I hope you enjoyed my post for today! I surely enjoyed creating all these fun projects for the sweet birthday party.

Thank you for stopping by, and have a lovely day!

Love needs no words card

Hello everyone, today I have a card I created for Cheery Lynn Designs Dies and for The Project Bin. On this card I used the Beautiful new  Shutter Window shaker die kit from Cheery Lynn Dies, and the Tea Rose small die. Love these shaker dies from Cheery Lynn as they are super fun and easy to create.

The flowers I chose to use are Cheery Lynn Tea Rose small die I cut them out using white card stock, then dusted them with 2 different pinks. Next I added some mini beads for the centers. The leaves were dusted using a green ink from club scrap.

Window was created using some old old crafty secrets design paper. Love the pattern for the window. The little flowers for the shaker part were airbrushed using a pink copic marker.

Sentiment is from The Project Bin Stamps called Spencer's Set. I stamped it in black, and then dusted the edges in the same pink as the flowers.

Ribbon is satin from Really Reasonable Ribbon

I hope you enjoyed my post for today, and thank you for stopping by!

Chloey's Minnie Mouse 1st Birthday Outfit

Hello everyone,
Today I wanted to share the darling Minnie Mouse Tutu and onesie outfit I made for my darling granddaughter Chloey for her 1st birthday & for Really Reasonable Ribbons anything but a card challenge. All ribbon used on this is Grosgrain from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

I love how her outfit turned out. I bought the tulle on the bolt, used 12 yards and 24 yards of ribbon on the tutu. For the onesie I bought the white onesie at Hobby Lobby, then cut out the Minnie Mouse Head using material and wonder under to attach to her onesie, but before I did that , I used my sewing machine to stitch her name and the 1 on minnies head. Next I created 3 bows using the same ribbon and hot glued them on. The headband I just added a double bow to it.

I had so much fun creating this darling outfit for the birthday girl, and she looked so stink'n cute in it!
here are a few extra photo's from the birthday

Thank you for stopping by and hope you enjoyed my post for today!

Squeeze the day!

Hello everyone, and Happy Thursday to all!
My card for today was created for The Project Bin using the DARLING New set called "Yello", this set is super CUTE!!! I chose to use it with the Mini Misti to stamp in the Ombre stamping. I do have a video on how I did this, and you can find it here under my Tutorials.

The flowers I used are from Cheery Lynn Dies, and I dusted them with a yellow and orange. In the center I used stickles glue. The branches are leftover punched branches, and the leaves are from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

I love love love the lemon stamps in this set, and chose to color them with copic markers and then add some stickles in a clear. Super cute they are!

The design paper came from a 6 x 6 stack, and I thought it went perfectly with this stamp set, so sweet!

I dusted them with a green, love that these make it so easy to dust. below is a list of all Cheery Lynn dies used on todays card.

Cheery Lynn Dies used:

My card has 3 layers of design paper panels. I added the Quadrafoil Doily to the 2nd layer, then added my 3rd layer over it. For the centers of my flowers I chose to use pearls. Lastly I added a satin bow, with a pearl center.

Ribbon Tutu

Hello everyone, Today I am super excited to share with you all this super darling Really Reasonable Ribbon Tutu I created for my Granddaughter Chloey's 1st Birthday. She lives in California, and will be arriving here this coming weekend, cant wait to see my daughter, grandbaby, and son in law.

On this ribbon tutu I used LOTS of Really Reasonable Ribbon. The size of this tutu is for 9-12 months, and uses 24 yards of Ribbon, and 12 yards of tulle. Super fun and easy to make. I used 2 6 yard pieces of off the bolt tulle, and then 24 yards of 7/8" Grosgrain Polka Dot ribbon in bright pink.. I LOVE how this one turned out. I will be making the onesie to go with this, it will be Minnie Mouse themed. I have also seen these done with the Satin Ribbon in 7/8" and they look so beautiful as well. I might have to try that on the next one I make :)

Bow was created using the same ribbon. I made 3 loops on each side, and then tied a piece of ribbon to knot it, and then tied it over the bow.

I hope you enjoyed my post for today! I truly enjoyed creating this, and hope to share some photo's later with this on the baby :)
Hugs to all,
Cheryl
