SCS Challenge cards Sat IC156 & FS95

Wishing Tree/Wishes FS95 challenge!

This card was designed for todays Featured Stamper challenge over at SCS, and here is the FS95 gallery. And todays featured stamper is Flowergal36, and this is the card I cased

On my card I changed the colors,dp,and the layout. The tree I used is from Pink Poison Stamps,and so is the sentiment,they are both from the set Wishing Tree!I also added my ribbon treatment to the top, and my sentiment to the bottom. I was going to copy her sketch, but it wouldnt work :(

This second card was from yesterdays IC156 challenge.

This is the card I designed for yesterdays Ispiration challenge on SCS Also to view other cards made for this challenge by others in the IC156 gallery . I used this wrapping paper as my Inspiration,

I love this little mermaid Anya, and I think Ive done her hair in several different colors...lol She is another Christmas card , I have sooo many done, Im sooo happy :) On her I used watercolor pencils, in red, and then black for her hair. I used the copic marker for her skin tone.I also used fun flock, and dazzling diamonds on her. The white background was ran through the cuddlebug using the snowflake cb folder. ribbon is just tied in a knot, and same thing done on the tag.

Blogger group #3 Challenge #1

This is my card made for our blogger group #3 this is our very 1st challenge. This is a color challenge and we are to use yellow and orange, and some kinda flower stamp. Well I just had to use little miss mermaid Anya again :) lol. And the flower is from the set Cupcakes, from Pink Poison Stamps! I also used the sketch from Beary Box's sketch challenge #4, I really love this sketch, and had to do 2 of them.

On my card I used this butterfly dp, and stripes to match. I had bought these at Roberts craft store a while back, and thought they would be perfect for this challenge. The flowers are stamped in craft black ink, and heat embossed, I then watercolored them with su watercolor pencils. I did the same to Anya.

This is my card made for the Sketch Challenge over at Beary Box!


This card I made for the sketch challenge #4 over at Beary Box!! I love this sketch, so I had to use it on both of these cards. On this one I used Mermaid Anya from Pink Poison Stamps, and did her colors for Christmas. I also used some old Christmas dp that ive had, but I dont know who it is made bye :( sorry!! Anya also has fun flock on her and dazzling diamonds in her hair. The ribbon treatment, is 6 strands of ribbon just tied in a knot. I will stamp Merry Christmas on the inside of this when ready to send :)

Happy Birthday/ And my Thanksgiving cards for yesterday!!!

BIRTHDAY CARD!!!
This card was made for todays LSC on SCS, you were to use only 3 colors, and one had to be pink, next only 3 layers, and 3 embellishments. gel pen counts as 1 embellishment, and my ribbon would be my 2nd. The colors I used are pretty in pink, barely banana, and almost amethyst. we could use the cb, and as many punches as we would like :)


These 2 cards were given to my mom, and my mother in-law for Thanksgiving yesterday :)

I used the one on the right for yesterdays challenge on SCS. I decided to make two of these cards, one for my mom, and one for my hubbys parents. I am soooo thankful to have them here with us, and here in Utah as well, since it only my mom,brother,and inlaws that live here in Utah. Anyways, the inside says Happy Thanksgiving!!On my card I stamped leaves for the background on the really rust paper, with choc chip ink. The stamps are from Gina K Designs, and the set is called Autumn Leaves. Next I stamped the pumpkin and that too is from Gina K Designs. The set the pumpkin is from is called Whimsical Autumn.

Alley Kat "You're in My Thoughts"

This card was designed for tuesdays

color challenge. We were to use Going gray,very vanilla, and really rust. I didnt have very vanilla, or the going gray, so I used a snowflake dp that is gray, and I use white in place of very vanilla.On my card I used the Alley Kat stamp that will be released soon from Queen Kat Designs. She is embossed with ebossing bridal tinsel. I also used the sentiment that was released this month from QKD as well, and its from the "You're My Set"I have wanted this swiss dott cb folder forever now, and finally found it at joannes last night , so I bought it :) I embossed the gray background and the larger cutout, and Alley Kat as well. The shapes are from the cricut machine. I want those new shaped nesties, so hopefully hubby will get me those soon :) LOL

The ribbon is just cut and tied in a knot. I then added a heart button. On the flowers I added pearls and a butterfly that was on a strand of ribbon. I just cut one off.

Giftcard holder card!!! Mermaid Anya/For You!!

This is my card for todays TLC challenge. This is a Pop up gift card holder card. Very easy technique. here is the tutorial. Anyways on my card I used this new dp I picked up a few weeks back, just havent used it until today :) The background flower print is from chatterboxinc(called Happy Bloom) the stripes on the scalloped circle are from sandylion(stripes). The orange is leftovers from along time ago and the green is as well.

Mermaid Anya was watercolored last week, so I didnt have to do that this morning. :) I used su watercolored pencils to color her, and her skin tone is a copic R00 pinkish white. The ribbon is dyed pumpkin pie, and certainly celery. The gem on the bow is covered in beads to match!!

You're my best bud Turkey card!

This card was designed for todays FS challenge over at SCS. Todays FS is EbethNeu and this is the card I cased

On this card I needed to change two or more things, so I changed the colors, and the stamp. I only used a sentiment stamp" You're my best bud" from Queen Kat Designs. The Turkey I made. I learned how to make this turkey from our SU card club, isnt he cute?????? I did add a bow to my card, and change the shape that the sentiment is on, it wouldnt fit on the other. To create the turkeys feathers:

Step 1: count five scallope, and fold that portion of the circle down, as shown to the left.


Step 2: Turn circle over and mark the center at the top and the bottom, now count two scallops, and score from there to center. Like shown. do that on both sides of the circle.

Step 3: fold flat edge down from each side so folded edges line up with the middle.

Turkey card you will need:

Choc chip: 1 3/8 circle for the body and one scallop circle punch for the feathers.

More Mustard: 3/4 circle for the head.

Real Red: 1/4 circle for the buttons and one scallop circle for feathers.

Old Olive: scallop circle for feathers.

Basic Black: 3/4 square trimmed down for hat, double circle punch for eyes.

Pumpkin Pie: Boho blossems for his feet and a petal from one of the flowers for his beak. Adhere feathers to your card , and glue all punches to form a fine feathered friend!!



Step 3:

This is the card I designed for Wednesdays Sketch Challenge on SCS. Thank you Rox71 I enjoyed this challenge, and love the layout on it!! :)
The dp is from www.chatterboxinc.com I bought mine at Roberts, and the name is Botanico Tapestry. I used both sides of this double sided dp. Other paper used is Baja Breeze, and choc chip. The ribbon knots are made with 4 different color ribbons, and just tied in a knot.
The stamps are from Pink Poison Stamps, and the set is Vintage Birds!! Love this set!!! I stamped the bird in choc chip, and watercolored with kiwi kiss,baja breeze,choc chip. The sentiment is from this set as well!
