Pages of Time

Hello everyone and Happy Friday !!!!
Today I'm sharing a Layout that I did for the Scrapbook Store challenge they have going on right now. I  came across this wonderful sketch that was on Sandie's blog. I thought it would be perfect for a vintage page!

For my page, I used a random dp for the back layer and tore and distressed the edges. All the small layers are done with Prima Songbird design paper pack and distressed with Tim Holtz ink. next I added CottageCutz Scallop doily's,those too were distressed to give an aged look to them.

After I glued everything down, then added my beautiful white lace to the bottom. It was hard  for me to use this lace, since I only have about 2 1/2 yards of it. I have been hoarding it......LOL Same with the Prima flowers. I normally will use 1 -2 in an album since I like to mix and match.... No really I like to hoard them.....hahahahahaahaha, they are sooo beautiful. I have found myself using them more and more, and now I will have to replace them.

On the sticker it says "Travel Through The Pages of Time"

I did add in some leaves, and some chipboard/sticker sentiments. I found that they make a perfect addition to a layout. Will be using more of them!! :)

Here is the sketch I used from The Scrapbook Store.

Look how cute my Mom was when she was little. Sooo SWEET! This page needs to be framed!

Lastly I added some Prima swirls of pearls and flowers to the top part of  the page.

A Time to Remember!

Hello everyone , and Happy Thursday to all!

Today I have a 12 x 12  Layout to share.
I wanted to use some OLD photo's that we got from my Grandma's House last year when she passed away.Boy do I miss her!!!!! I had hubby upload them, and as you can tell the light came through the one on the bottom. I will be replacing it with another one shortly.

The Photo on the bottom is My Mom and her Brother(My Uncle Danny)

I wanted to use Prima's Sun Kiss Design Paper, but all I have in it was a 6 x6 pack, well I made it work for a 12 x 12 layout! First time using that small of paper pack on a layout for me :)

I have been hoarding these Beautiful Prima flowers, and decided  this was the perfect layout to use them on.

The top pictures, left to right are
My Grandma,Grandpa, and my mom when she was little
the right photo is my Grandma and her sister.

My layout is super simple! I took the Polka Dot SU! dp and tore the edges with a ruler that has that on it. Then I distressed the edges and did some sewing.  The Prima 6 x 6 design Paper I did the same thing to it. I took 3 different patterns, and torn some of the edges and distressed them, and randomly placed them on my page. Next I used a couple of the CottageCutz Tea Time Doily Die(One at the top, and one at the bottom), and 3 of the CottageCutz Postage Stamp Die for photo frames.

To finish off my page, I used Prima flowers, and some random other flowers too. I also added in some wedding sprays, that I bought at Hobby Lobby.

The LACE down the left side is VINTAGE lace from my stash!

FAMILY was down with white letters, that I painted with Creative Inspiration Paints(Brown). Love the beautiful look it gave to each letter. Lastly I added some sticker sentiments on my layout!

Thank you for looking and Have a lovely day!
Hugs to all,
Cheryl

♥♥♥Easter Blessing♥♥♥ Candy Container

Hello everyone, Today I wanted to share a recycled Laughing Cow decorated container that I made for Easter. On my Treat container I used
♥♥♥Really Reasonable Ribbon's Beautiful Satin's ♥♥♥

My friend Carol made several of these a couple of years back, and I absolutely fell in love with them, so thought I would give it a try. Thank you Carol(Chocolate,Crafts and bears, oh my)

I used the Diamond Satin Tulip, that is also in the March Ribbon Kit. I LOVE this beautiful ribbon and the color is soo pretty!!!! I also used some Pink 3/8"Satin with Iridescent Edge Pink for the Bunny Bow, and for around the outside edges of my container.

 ♥♥♥How to ♥♥♥
I took a Laughing Cow empty container and painted it using white Paint and some Creative Inspiration Paint in PINK to mixed in. Painted the outside of the entire container and set aside to dry. Next I took some Circle /Scalloped Circle Spellbinders and cut my sizes for the top and inside layering.

I glued the pieces on, and then added my CottageCutz Easter Basket Bunny,CottageCutz Filigree Egg, Picket Fence Border. All are glued on except the Bunny and the cloud. I used Foam Squares to attach them. The cloud was a cutout from MLS, and I stamped a SU! sentiment on it. Super easy to make. All the Pearls are from Really Reasonable Ribbon, and they are glued on the egg!

♥♥♥It measures 4" around, and is 3/4" high on the inside♥♥♥
I think its perfect for holding jelly beans, mini choc eggs, mini chocolate bars the ones that are wrapped, you could maybe do 2 layers of those.

♥♥♥ I think these are a perfect gift idea for Easter ♥♥♥
 And SUPER Fun & Cute!!!

Stamptacular Sundays/Fuzzy Friends(her face was stamped, and sentiment)

♥♥♥Hello Friends♥♥♥
today I wanted to share another card made using the CottageCutz "Sweet Cupcake Shop" . I just had to use this sweet cupcake shop again!! I LOVE it!!!! Of course I went with my Favorite colors again :)

 ♥♥♥CottageCutz♥♥♥
For  the bottom of the Cupcake Shop I used Core'dinations Card Stock, and embossed it with a Cuddlebug Dots folder, then sanded it, so the lighter color would come through. The Icing on the shop was cut out using SU! design paper. Next for behind my cupcake shop I used the CottageCutz Oval Doily & Frame Die, and distressed the edges in pink. My white scalloped border is a MS punch

♥♥♥Embellishments♥♥♥
Design Paper Layers are all from scraps. I embellished my card  using Really Reasonable Ribbon(sheer double ruffled edge), and buttons. The sweet dew drops are from The Robins Nest, and I Love using these to embellish!!

♥♥♥Sweet Cupcake Easel Card♥♥♥

♥♥♥Hello and Happy Sunday to all♥♥♥

Today I'm sharing YES another Cupcake Card :) I absolutely LOVE this DARLING CottageCutz "Sweet Cupcake Shop" Die. Although this time I used it just as a CUPCAKE and decorate it up.

I thought it would be fun to decorate it up with lots of ribbons, trims, and seam binding. So for the Icing I used Rosette Ribbon, and added pearls to the centers. Next I used Seam Binding to create some rosettes for the bows, and the top of the icing.

For the cupcake Liner I used Lace and trim(Really Reasonable Ribbon) and then added some Pearls. I love the way this turned out, and will be working on another shortly.

My Card Base is cut using the Cricut, and then I used some Spellbinders circles for the design paper cutouts. I did  use the CottageCutz Tea Time Doily for behind my cupcake. The tags I used are from the Paper Line Prima Sun Kiss
