Hearts/Love Pop Up card

Hello Crafty Friends, and happy Wednesday to you all!
Today's card was designed for Cheery Lynn Designs using the New Pop Up Hearts and a few other Cheery Lynn dies to make this sweet Valentines card. I really am loving these, and enjoy working with these new Pop Up dies, they are super fun and add that extra embellishing to your cards.

On this card here I chose to use the Hearts, as its for Valentine's day. The LOVE tags fit perfectly with the theme here. I also used Pebbles "Yours Truly" design paper stack for each layer on my card.

For embellishing on my card I chose to use some white and pink twine for the love tags, and then added some embellishments to the bows on each end. For the pop up hearts I used viva pearl pen to create the dots.

I had a lot of fun designing this card, and cant wait to share another pop up card with you all!

Quilt Sharing day!

Hello everyone, since I'm not posting daily on my blog I figured it wouldn't hurt to share now and then a Quilt that I've made over the last year. This one was designed for my Daughter Maddie (daughter in law to be) as a Christmas gift. I know you all don't quilt, but I figured since I'm not posting paper crafts daily on my blog that I would throw in a photo of the quilts I've made over the last year. I will do this every now and then. Hope you enjoy this one.

The Kitty fabric was from a dear friend of my moms who had passed away, she left some of her sewing/doll making stuff to my mom and then my mom gave this kitty fabric to me. She knows how much I love cats. All the other top pieces are from Little House on the Prairie fabric line that I bought at one of our local quilt shops, except the green, they too came from Thimbles & Threads. The paw prints for the backing is a flannel and from Joannes fabric. I did add a label! Love how this one turned out. The kitties are so sweet!

Hope you enjoyed my short post for today!
Hugs to all,
Cheryl

Celebrate Pop Up card

Hello crafty friends, today I am excited to share this double Pop Up card I created using the New Cheery Lynn Pop Up Dies. I LOVE these dies, they are so fun to work with, and give our cards that little extra embellishing they need. I have been working on several cards this past week using these beautiful dies, and I have to say I LOVE them all!

This next photo is of the inside of my card. I wanted to use another Pop Up die, and chose the beautiful flowers to use on the inside. They were cut in white and then colored using copic markers.

For todays card I chose to use the Celebrate in the front, as this is a Birthday card, and then I added the Birthday banner to it by the bow. Next I added the Vintage tile for the backdrop for the Flourishes and Tiny flowers. I think I'm addicted to these sweet little flowers, they are absolutely beautiful! The flowers were cut using the coordinating design paper in the orangey/coral color. I added some distressing and then some gems to the centers. All layers have sewing on them as well :)

Live Laugh Love

Hello Crafty friends, and Happy Friday to you all! Today's card is a super simple one designed using Really Reasonable Ribbons Beautiful Delicate Stitched ribbon, Lace, Pearl and adhesives. Hope you enjoy my card as I enjoyed creating it.

On my card I used cream card stock for the base and all layers. Next I chose this pack of design paper that I have had for a long time and never used, its called fabrique page kit, I think I bought it at the warehouse sale. The sentiment is a sticker, so super easy, as there is no stamping on this one.

For embellishing I chose to use the Beautiful Delicate Stitch Satin for my bow, Ribbon in this months Ribbon Club kit. Love all the ribbons in this kit, they are beautiful!! The lace is also from RRR , and the Pearl too. Lastly I added sewing to my card.

Vintage Lace Fancy Birdhouse

Hello crafty friends and Happy Tuesday to you all!
Today I have a super sweet card I created using Cheery Lynn Dies, and some Vintage Lace papers. Love the Bird house, its absolutely Gorgeous! I decided to just distress it a little and add some viva pearls to decorate it a bit.

The card base is 5 3/4" x 5 3/4" and is a cream card stock. Next I added layers of the Vintage Lace design papers and card stock.

For the greenery I used Cheery Lynn's Olive Branches,Flourish #1 , Flourish # 3, and Tiny flowers kit for all the flowers. Love how small they are, and I think they go perfectly with this beautiful bird house. I did add some stickles to the centers of each of the flowers, and distressed each flower using a blue ink.

The bird house was cut using the coordinating design paper, and then backed with the same blue card stock. I distressed the bird house using a blue ink, and did that lightly, as to not overpower the beauty of the birdhouse. Next I decided to add some pearl dots using the viva pearl pen.

Little Princess Card

Hello Crafty Friends and Happy New Year to you all! Hope you had a very Merry Christmas too! Today's card was created for Really Reasonable Ribbon using the beautiful delicate stitched from this months Ribbon Club Assortment called Valentine Mix. Love all the ribbons in this months kit, they are Beautiful!!

On my card for today I chose to use a princess theme paper and embellishments. The delicate stitched ribbon matches it perfectly! I also chose to use some of Really Reasonable Ribbons Sweetheart Blossoms, leaves, and little flower embellishments.

The little princess, tea set, and sentiment were all placed using RRR Foam tabs, I also used the Scotch Glider Refills to attach each layer.

Todays post is kinda a short one, as I haven't felt good for the last few days, and haven't crafted in awhile, but it sure did feel good to be back in the craft room, so hoping I can get back into the swing of things this week....hehehe
