Sweet Strawberry Post it Notebook & Video Tutorial

Hello everyone and happy Wednesday to you all! Today's Project is a post it notebook that I designed for The Robins Nest Creative. I have been having so much fun creating videos to share with you all, I do hope you enjoy them. Today's video will show how I made the book and decorated it.

Here is the inside of my post it. I made one of these years ago and thought I should do a video on this one. I ended up making 3 and will make more. These make perfect gifts to give to co workers, neighbors, friends and family. I ended up decorating the corners and leaves using the dew drops. So much fun! I also used Really Reasonable Ribbons flowers and ribbon.

Thank you for stopping by! Hugs to all, Cheryl

Shabby Chic Butterfly Post-it Notepad

Hello everyone, and Happy Saturday to all!
Today I'm posting to share a Post-it Notepad I made, for a dear friend. We celebrated Janna's Birthday Yesterday at my house, with a luncheon and lots of crafty fun! We had a Blast!

I just had to use this beautiful CottageCutz Victorian Butterfly Flourish as I absolutely love airbrushing them. Not only is it easy to do, but I love the results! Next I added some glitter in a couple of pink colors to give it some shimmery bling. Love the way it looks in person!
The card base was cut on the cricut, and then just added some circle layers in one of my favorite Bazzill Patterns, and American Crafts Polka dot blue dp from the large paper stack.

Sweetheart Blossoms are the little flowers and those are from Really Reasonable Ribbon, just LOVE them, they are by far one of my FAVORITE flowers out there. The branches were punched using the old Martha stewart punch. I also went through my stash of stamps, and found a couple of sweet ones, that were perfect for her card/post-it.
The seam binding I used is a bright Pink called "Summer Rose", and can be found at Really Reasonable Ribbon. Bonnie carries tons of beautiful seam bindings, and I love them all!

Thank you for looking and have a wonderful weekend!
Hugs to all,
Cheryl

Couture Post it Note pad

Hello everyone and Happy Wednesday to all!
Today I'm sharing a Post-it Note pad I made using the Beautiful Graphic 45 Couture Paper. I absolutely LOVE this paper, and loved making the flowers from the paper line. Below I have a slideshow with 8 photo's for viewing. Hope you enjoy!

Flowers are made using Heartfelt Creations Posy Patch dies. I cut several out and then dusted them with 3 different inks, then spritz them with some gold spritz from American Crafts. I shaped them, and set them aside to dry. Lastly glued them together and added the glitter glitz to the centers. Love the look of them. I love how you can make flowers look so different with different techniques.
For the greenery I used Really Reasonable Ribbons Seam binding, and also used seam binding for the small bow, and half rosette. Under the layers I used CottageCutz Fancy Floral Corner #2

Sewing was done on each panel, except the ticket. Love adding sewing to my projects.
Thank you for stopping by and hope you have a wonderful day!
Hugs to all,
Cheryl

Graphic 45 Design Team Audition 2015

Hello Friends!! Today's Post is for Graphic 45
Design Team Audition 2015. I am super excited to share my 4 projects I made this past week using Graphic 45 Beautiful Collections. I have wanted to apply for this call before, but have always missed the call.  I tried to make my post as short as possible, by doing slides for each project, and I will have a video at the end of my post showing my mini album and other projects details. I hope you enjoy!
1st Project
"Botanical Tea Pot Mini Album"

I cant tell you how much I LOVE their design paper, its absolutely BEAUTIFUL and brings so much inspiration to me. I had so many items I wanted to make, but just came across this call last week, and yep, I did all these projects in about 5 days. My 1st project above is a Tea Pot Mini Album using the Beautiful Botanical Tea Design Paper. I have a video below that shows details of the interactive pages, you wont want to miss this video, as I am very pleased with this mini! Lots of room for photo's as we seem to never have enough spots for all those photo's.

2nd Project
" Couture Tussy Mussy/Treat Holder"

Next up is the Beautiful Couture line. I used this line on this Toilet Paper Tussy Mussy. Well it can be a little treat bag too. I LOVE this collection as well. Of course I love them all.....hehehehe The flowers I fussy cut, and heat embossed to give a glass type of look,I love how they turned out. I  also used some vintage trim, feathers, and some vintage type findings to embellish with.  How fun it would be to add some treats to this bag!

3rd Project
"Photo/Calendar/Recipe Stand"

Next I made a Photo page for this multi purpose stand. Hubby and I made these several years back for Christmas Gifts. I had made calendars, recipes and so forth for this stand. We gave them as gifts. Love the Botanical Tea on this one too. Also the photo can be changed out super easy! In my video you will see. (Please see video below and end of post)
Flowers here are also fussy cut/Layered/and heat embossed to give a beautiful real look to them. love these too!!

4th Project
"Once Upon a Springtime Notepad Holder
My last project here uses the Once Upon a Springtime Design Paper pack. I made this Easel Card into a Notepad Holder for my counter next to the phone.
The fairy, frog and flowers are all layered. On this project I did the same with the flowers, by heat embossing them, to give them a glass like look. They dont even look like paper. I love how they are so different from regular fussy cut flowers. All pieces here were distressed, and layered to give the 3-D look.

Please be sure to watch my video,so you can see the interactive pages in my mini!
Thank you for stopping by, and have a lovely day!
Hugs to all,
Cheryl

CottageCutz Quackers & Quack Notepad w/Pencil/video

Today's Post is a Notepad I created.
I used the SWEET CottageCutz Quackers & Quack and the Matching CottageCutz Spring Showers Border. I love these DARLING dies!!! I cut Quackers & Quack out with Yellow card stock, then distressed them with yellow ink. Next I colored their other pieces with Orange, and Yellow copics. Glued to together and then used a pen for their eyes.

For the Border-
I cut the border out in white. Then colored each item with copics except for the umbrella and the boots. Those I used  the same coordinating design paper and cut them out. Love the look of the border. Next I used Viva Pearl Pen to add the white dots.

These New CottageCutz can be found in the Spring Showers Release

For the inside I added a notepad, and a pencil. This would be great to keep on a desk, or even your work area to write down notes, or reminders.

I used the CottageCutz Oval & Doily Die for the sentiment , and dusted the edges with ink. For under the border, I added some Vintage Lace. Lastly I added a Bow using Really Reasonable Ribbon Light Navy Satin, and then some buttons. The stamp is a SU!

Challenges:
Bearly Mine/Die Cuts or Punches( I used all die cuts on my notebook)
Creative Card Crew/Dies or Punches
Ribbon Carousel /Fun in the Sun

Thank you for looking and have a Lovely Day!
Hugs to all,
Cheryl

These 2 post it notebooks were designed for Angels Landing! On the top one I used Alcohol inks to color the bear, and then cut him out. The hearts are from spellbinders, and the white one I used the copic airbrush on it. The sentiment is from SU!
On this 2nd notebook the bear is airbrushed, and I used some scrap design paper that I just love, wish I would have bought a ton of it!! :) The ribbon is wired and is another favorite. I used the sentiment on this one from SU! and the flower is cut in half.
Thank you for looking and have a wonderful Friday!!!
Hugs,
Cheryl

Bear images can be found here at Angels Landing
Alcohol inks can be found at Pez-A-Doodle Designs

Angels Landing "For a special Friend" (Alcohol Inks and Opalite)!

Todays post is for Angels Landing.com, our challenge for today was NO WHITE!!!lol I love this!! Of course we always seem to use white, so this was nice!!! :) Thank you Judi!!! This is another notebook, and of course by now you know I love making them!!Right???? :) LOL
Also for today Im sharing another alcohol ink technique on this darling bear from Angels Landing!

First I picked my colors:
As you can see my tile is a mess!!!LOL that is fine. I used the mustard seed, Ginger and latte upper top where they are running together.
The red you can see, and the LITTLE drop of green is in the middle. I added Alcohol solution to them all. That way the ink wont be soooo dark. I always test to my scrap paper to see what it will look like before it ever touches the image.
I dabb darker around the edges and lighter towards the face. On the bear I used all colors I believe except green. The greein I used for the stem of the flower.

The sponge brush works well too lift any excess ink off of the image! And to add the Opalite to the top of your image. I use both sides:)

Lastly I used the opalite on top of the bear!!
I wanted to take a picture of all products used!

Thank you for looking and have a wonderful day!!!
Hugs,
Cheryl

Laurie the Skunk Notebook& Grungeboard

This post-it notebook was designed for yesterdays FS challenge on SCS. On my notebook I used Laurie the skunk stamp just released from The Greeting Farm.

I also used Grungeboard (the tag) and will show you what is looks like and what you can do with it:)
Grungeboard comes in sheets like this one above. The sheet is very flexible, and is already embossed.

Now one of the Awesome things about this product is you can add all different mediums to it, and it wont break down, or tear, or become mush...lol I used all the products below to make my tag match the dp I used!!

Supplies use on the Grungeboard are:

For my notebook supplies used are :
  • Design paper( Once upon a time)
  • Stamp (The Greeting Farm)
  • Flowers, gems, ribbon
  • Matteboard for the notebook
  • post-it sticky notepad

All links are provided above in color!!! :)
Thank you for looking and have a nice day!!
Hugs,
Cheryl
