A Lil' Shabby Chic

Hello everyone and Happy Monday to all! Today I'm sharing a Shabby Chic card I designed for Really Reasonable Ribbon & The Scrapping Cottage using the Beautiful CottageCutz Dies.

I LOVE the look of Shabby Chic, its soo soft and pretty! And of course my FAVORITE color is PINK :)

On my card here I used Really Reasonable Ribbon's -
Louise Lace

For the buttons, I just ran thread through them, and hot glued them to my card. Next I used the lace as a border across the bottom of my punched border. The Pink Seam binding I used to create a bow. And lastly I added a flower to the center of my bow.

The stamps I used are SU! Celebration stamps/Vintage Verses. The dies I used on my card are all  CottageCutz Dies.

Here is a complete list of CottageCutz used:
CottageCutz /Vintage Dress Form
CottageCutz/ Tea Time Tags
CottageCutz /Tea Time Doily
CottageCutz / Oval Doily & Frame

The Oval doily is placed over the Tea Time doily to give a different look. I think they look pretty combined together.
Thank you for looking and have a nice day!!
Hugs to all,
Cheryl

CottageCutz "I Love U"

Hello everyone , today I'm sharing my card designed using 4 different CottageCutz Dies. I LOVE this sweet CottageCutz "Puppy Love Carrier" he is too CUTE!

I decided to airbrush him using the copic markers, and airbrushing system. I then went in and used some Creative Inspiration Paints (Tutu Pink, Coal)on him and the LOVE after they were colored. The Bee Mine frame was done using the same technique. I used the center piece as a templete so I could leave a white area for my image.

The I and U are from the CottageCutz Sugar & Cream Alphabet Die. I cut them out with white card stock and colored them with black. Lastly I added some RRRibbon, and a button with some gems.

Hope everyone had a Happy Valentines Day!!!
Hugs to all,

CottageCutz Vintage Mini Tussy Mussy

Hello everyone, today I wanted to share another Mini Toilet Paper Tussy Mussy that I made this week. On this one, I used CottageCutz "Fancy Perfume Bottles" from the Vintage Release. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this RELEASE!!!!

I wanted a vintage look to my Tussy Mussy, so I went with Vintage Laces, and ruffles, and Vintage Seam Binding, all from my stash. Then I picked a dp that I thought could be vintage looking, and went off of those colors for my perfume bottle.

The CottageCutz Perfume Bottle is cut out with a design paper, then distress with brushed Corduroy ink. Next I cut the hose and top pieces all with cream card stock and distressed it with tea dye. The bulb is airbrushed with copic YR61 and then distressed with old paper. My flowers were colored with copics R32, YR61 , for the greenery on the bottle I used YG95 & G99 copic markers.

The Lace I used on the bottom ,top, and handle are very very old. The ruffled behind the bow, Im not sure how old that is. I also used Really Reasonable Ribbon Brown Antique Gold Ribbon for my bow. Now behind the hearts is a peach seam binding, I just ruched it up. Lastly I added a string of pearls to the bottom :)

If you havent seen the NEW CottageCutz Releases you will have to take a moment and stop by The Scrapping Cottage Store HERE :)

Thank you for looking and have a lovely day!!

Flower Tag/Video

Hello everyone, today I'm sharing a tag I made for a Mini Album I will be working on for myself.  I wanted to re-do my Crinkled Design Paper Technique using Creative Inspiration Paints instead of ink pads. I LOVE using the paints, and thought they would be perfect for this technique.
VIDEO is BELOW! :)

The flowers were stamped and embossed using CIP's deliquesce black and colored with tickled pink. I did use a tad of water with this color to lighten it up a tad. LOVE the look of the flowers!!!

It's been a LONG time since I've done this technique, but do have some projects with this done and they can be found HERE!

Video Tutorial on Crinkled Design Paper using CIP's

Flowers are from Heartfelt Creations!
Leaves Trim & Pearls are from Really Reasonable Ribbon

Jointed Taylor Teddy "Be My Valentine"

Hello everyone, today I have a SWEET Taylor Teddy Card made for Victorine Originals Valentine & Heart Challenge that is going on right now.

Taylor Teddy is a stamped image from Victorine Originals Animal section, that I stamped,Airbrushed and put together using these Heart Shaped brads. He is super cute, and has 5 pieces that you stamp, color and put together. He can be movable, but I chose not to for this card. My sentiment is also from Victorine Originals, and is stamped on a CottageCutz Love tag. The Flower Vine is also a CottageCutz die, and I added buttons to it, and then the flowers, with pearls in the centers. I wanted to add more hearts so I cut the white hearts off of a white pearl heart trim i have. My Ribbon bow(stitched edge brown & pink) is from Really Reasonable Ribbon, as well has the Pearls!

I hope you will JOIN us for our VALENTINE Challenge over at the Victorine Originals Blog HERE!

Thank you for looking and have a lovely day!!
