FFF/ and some SAD news!!!

Hello everyone, today I have some super sad news to share! Todays Farm Fresh Friday card is my Last card to make for The Greeting Farm as a DT member for The Greeting Farm! 

( I will still be designing for other companies, just so there is no confusion on this post)

 

These BEAUTIFUL Flowers were sent to me by Marie the owner and dear friend from The Greeting Farm!!! Thank you sooooo MUCH Marie!!!! I LOVE Them!

I had to take 2 pictures of them!!! :) they are BEAUTIFUL and really made my day when the UPS guy brought this big box full of fresh flowers!!! :)

I have soooo ENJOYED my time on TGF and Im sooo Thankful to Marie for finding me on SCS and asking me to be a part of her wonderful DT! Thank you Marie!!! I will miss all TGF DT sisters that ive come to know, and have loved working with!!! Jessica I want to say thank you for being an AWESOME DT coordinator! This post is super hard for me to write up, and its gonna be a short one!!! I know you are asking why am I leaving, well I signed a 1 year contract last year and my time is up! I would have LOVED to stay on, but I guess needed to move on :)

 I know that when 1 door closes another will open, and it already has!!! :) Ive always believed in that, but its still hard to say Goodbye! I know I will still have my wonderful friendships that ive made along the way :) and thank God for that!!!!  I will continue to do some of The Greeting Farm challenges, so I wont be a stranger :) hehehhehe

I will have some exciting news to share with everyone on May 1st, thats tonight at Midnight!!!! :)

Welcome to Farm Fresh Friday

Todays FFF challenge is to Springcleaning one! Meaning : find something you were going tothrow out, or forgot you had!!! hehehehe! throw out, or forgot you had!!! hehehehe!

So I was looking through a craft bag and found these Colored Chipboard stickers, and thought they were perfect for my card

The dp is from Bo Bunny, and has sewing around it. I added some flowers,leaves branches. I also used spellbinders die cuts for the frames!

Farm Fresh Friday!

On my 1st card I used sweet Ebony! She is colored with copics, and then cut out. I used some scraps for all the background dp. I was try'n to keep it simple so you could see the sketch I used :)

For my 2nd card I used Camille. I also colored her with copics and cut her out as well. Ive been using alot of scrap dp lately to move it out!!! :) Its funny how we have SOOOO MUCH of it :)

Hello everyone, todays card was designed for Farm Fresh Friday "Birthday Bash" challenge!!!!

For my card I used this little Darling and her name is "Ebony" isnt she cute???!!!! Todays theme is Birthday Bash, so I wanted to create a card for a Birthday!!!

On my card I used Ebony, and the Balloons are from an older TGF set called "Fly Away", the presents are from the set "Happy Chef" , I used the copics to color all images, and then added some stickles to give a little sparkle :)

Now for my card.......
I used the Digi image Creepy Cakes called Twisted Tea, and the mushrooms, and rabbit are from the set Wonderland.

All images are colored with copics and cut out! I added stickles to sparkle and give some shine! The grasss is cut with the quickutz and die. I wanted a 3-D look and did that with the mushrooms, and grass tooo!

I used some scraps from my scrap collection, and then added a border, and some sewing.

Lastly to complete my card I added a bow,button, and a gem to the button!

On my card I used colors that I had. I did have melon berry and its the polka dots. The other brown polka dots is su! and the cardstock is choc chip. My ribbon is craft,choc chip, and another color that I tried to match up :)

FFF Color Challenge & The tutorial for the Heart shaped Giftbag!

Farm Fresh Fridays Color Challenge ! I love these colors together, for more details on this challenge please visit The Greeting Farm Blog !

Now on my card I had to use a different blue, I think it was close, but you dont have to use the SU! colors, just match them to what you already have

Today Im sharing with you my FFF challenge card, and another heart shaped giftbag/Tutorial!!

On all my projects I used this super sweet image from the newly released set called "Sweet Message"



I was going to make this a card and then decided it should be a notepad/notebook

Now on to my Tutorial !!!

I kinda changed a couple things when doing my second bag which is the pink one, so there are mixed up pics but I will explain along the way!! :)

Here is another giftbag I made on thursday for todays post!

I just love the new images they are sooo sweet!!!

Here is a side view and on this pink giftbag I used the felt to line the outside (you can see the outside from the sideview!

Ok to start with I used the Cricut George and basic shapes cartridge. I cut 2 5 1/2 heart shapes.

These will be used for the front and the back of your bag!

Next I cute a panel that measures 9 1/2 by 2 1/2 this will be used for the bottom and sides of your bag!

You will score the panel at 4" inches and then again at 5 1/2 inches. along the long side I scored it at 2 " inches, on both sides, or just score to make the inside flap be a 1/2 inch depends on what kinda scoring tools you use.

Now if you dont sew then what you will want to do is add your trims or laces, and then add some kind of heavy glue, like the ATG gun, or glue gun will work,

On my first bag I used the double sided red sticky tape, I find that the glue gun works best if you are NOT sewing!!

Here is the front of my heart. So the first thing I added to the inside is my lace, then added the felt, and then sewing!!

Here are the 2 pink ones done, showing the inside. Nice clean look . You can always add trim if you are not sewing to get a nice look as well :)

See the panel on the pink one is done with the felt. I added the felt to the outside of this panel.

Now on the first one like I said I used the sticky red tape, but on the pink one I used an Hot Glue Gun!! And love the hot glue gun better

To add a Handle just add holes to each side.

Then added ribbon leaving the cut piece on the outside. that way you can tie your bow on with the loose end .
