Club Scrap Lagoon Blog Hop

Hello everyone and welcome to Club Scraps August blog hop featuring the New Beautiful Lagoon  Deluxe kit !  If you arrived from Jennifer's Blog then you are in the right place , if not you will want to start from the beginning at Karen(Club Scrap blog)so you don't miss any of the wonderful inspiration from the Club Scrap Artist Team! There is also a list of the entire line up there for you with links :) Have fun & I hope you enjoy todays Hop!

I love that each club scrap kit inspires me to get more of my scrapbooking done, as I was lacking on that before Club Scrap! Right now I have so many pages complete, that I'm ready to put together a nice 12 x12 album :) Love that!

For my layout today I chose to keep this one a little simple, no flowers, no ribbon, just stamping and fussy cutting for this one.  On this layout here I chose to use the seaweed from both stamp sets, and then stamped the starfish 3 times and airbrushed all of them. Love how they look on my page for today.

The photo matts were created using 1 8 1/2" x 11" design paper sheet from the deluxe Lagoon club kit, and I cut it to 5 1/2" x 5 3/4" for the big photo matt, then the 2 little ones were cut to 3" x 3 1/4". I didn't add photo's to this, as I need to print them out.

Make Waves tag/ and border along the bottom of the page were cut from the Lagoon cut-a -part sheet that came in my kit.

Seas the day. was stamped on a leftover piece I had from the design paper sheet I used for the photo matts.

The wide border on my page was leftover from the last page I made using the 12 x 12 sheet of design paper, so I thought this would make a nice border along the right side of my page.

Doily was cut using a Cheery Lynn Designs Mega Doily.

Club Scrap Supplies-
Lagoon Deluxe Kit
Lagoon Embellishment Cut a Part
Lagoon Art Nouveau unmounted stamps (for small seaweed and Seas the day.)
Lagoon Jumbo unmounted stamps (for the large seaweed, and starfish)
Card Stock (sand , and Light Teal) from the Deluxe Lagoon kit
White card stock from my stash
Black ink is India Black ink pad from club scrap
I had so much fun working with this months beautiful Deluxe Lagoon kit, as I LOVE everything about this sweet kit! I do hope you are enjoying our hop today!

Christmas

Hello everyone, today I have a fun Christmas card I designed using the New Fall/Winter Release from Cheery Lynn Designs. LOVE all the new dies in this Release as they are all so beautiful/DARLING! To see them all, please visit Cheery Lynn Designs here. I also used the sweet sentiment from The Project Bin Stamps called "Joyful Song".

Cheery Lynn Dies-
Penguin Pals B909
Cut and Emboss Snowflake E202
Sparkle Christmas Tree B913
Royal Scandinavian Doily

I started out by doing 2 layers of design paper and white card stock, then added the Doily that was cut out in white on top. Next I layered all the Cheery Lynn dies starting with the beautiful trees that i cut out using the coordinating design paper then distressing with 2 green inks. I also added glitter to both tree's using stickles. My snowflake was cut using the same design paper, and just popped up using foam tabs. The sweet little penguin was cut out in white card stock 2 times and pieced together after coloring. I also added stickles to him his hat.

Lastly I added a big white satin bow to complete my card for today. Ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

Cheery Lynn Dies:
DL280 Royal Scandinavian Doily

I love these dies and for the front of my card I chose to use the 3 new Halloween dies from Cheery Lynn, and then 2 from past releases.

The design paper works perfectly with these super sweet dies, and its called Tricks and Treats from Pebbles collection. The ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon and I thought it was so cute on this card.

Kitty was cut out using the spider design paper and then I distressed him and did a heat embossing with clear embossing powder, of course he needed a little bow...hehehehe'

The Twisted Tree was cut out using a shimmery card stock, and then the other die pieces were cut using plain card stock. super fun card to create.
On the inside I cut out another circle to create a little scene on the inside. The wrought iron fence will hold a tag or something behind it. I did add 2 more of the kitties as they are too cute!

Autumn leaves

Hello everyone and Happy Friday to you all!
Today's card was created for The Project Bin using the darling new stamp set called "New Leaf", so many sweet sentiments in this set. To see the entire stamp set, please visit The Project Bin Store. To see other designs using this stamp set, please visit the Project Bin Blog, as there is always lots of inspiration there.

This card measures 5 3/4" x 5 3/4" and I used a green colored card stock from my stash. Next I chose a rusty orange then a scrap polka dot I had in the scrap box. The next layer is from American Crafts Pumpkin Patch 6 x 6 paper pad.

Sentiment layering was done with all Cheery Lynn dies. I stamped my pumpkin and sentiments using the Mini Misti tool. Makes it easy to get a nice deep color with this tool.

Ribbons are from Really Reasonable Ribbon and the brown is a Delicate Stitched Satin, and the orange is a Satin.

Super fun and easy card to create, took no time at all!

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed my post for today!

Under the Sea Birthday Wishes

Hello everyone, and Happy Thursday to you all!
Today I have another fun card made for Really Reasonable Ribbon using the Lagoon Club Kit from Club Scrap and Ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon! I cant tell you how much I love this months kit, and the inspiration it brings to me.

For my card I started with one of the design papers from the kit, it is the back layer, then I used the pretty light teal blue card stock for layering each layer on my card.

Next I chose white, to do all my stamping with the club scrap lagoon collection of stamps, coloring and airbrushing using the copic markers and airbrushing.  I fussy cut out each of the seahorse, fish, and starfish, and then added some stickles to the fish, glossy accents to the seahorse, and just airbrushed the starfish. LOVE all the different stamps in these sets, as there are many to choose from. The bubbles are done with glossy accents as well.

Ribbon used is white taffeta from Really Reasonable Ribbon and I also used the 3-D foam tabs tombow, and then the 3-D thin foam tabs white.

I really enjoyed creating my card for today, hope you enjoyed my post!
Hope you have a super awesome day!

Club Scrap August Artist Team Challenge

Hello everyone, and welcome to Club Scraps August Artist Team Challenge! This month the August Challenge is Inspired by Pinterest’s newest feature, “Tried it”, the Artist Team challenge this month is to visit the Club Scrap Pinterest account, choose a Pin with a technique or tutorial that inspires you, then make pages, cards or other projects inspired by that Pin. Once your project is complete, click the “Tried it” icon on the Pin.

You should have arrived from Debbie's blog, however if you did not , you might want to start from the beginning at Karen's Club Scrap Blog , that way you won't miss any of the Design Teams Beautiful creations today.

So I tried 2 pins I found, I loved them both and couldn't decide between the 2 so I did both using Club Scrap Lagoon Deluxe Kit. One is the Envelope punch board Coin Envelopes by Tricia, the second pin I tried was the embossing folder leaves, but I did not use a folder, I used my score board and did the embossing that way. I had so much fun doing both these techniques, thank you Club Scrap! Both can be found here at Club Scrap on Pinterest.
The leaves I did were a light blue color that I distressed with club scraps green ink pads, I used two. Next m flowers were made using some precut die flowers I had in a baggy sitting on my work station, so I distressed them in a coordinating color. I did add club scraps pretty Teal Jewel stickers that came in the Lagoon Deluxe Club Kit., I not only used them for the centers of my flowers, but also for on the page too. Love how they look.
Envelope was done using one of the coordinating papers from the Deluxe Lagoon kit, and then I added one of the cut aparts to add a date on the envie. Inside is another cut apart that I can add the journaling for this page.

Papers are all from the Club Scrap Deluxe Lagoon Kit, except the white backing for the teal.

Sewing was added using a blue color thread, and I also added a Cheery Lynn doily that I cut up to make it look way larger than it is.

Embellishments- came from the Deluxe Lagoon kit, and are the starfish, mini tag, and stickers.

Ribbon is from Really Reasonable Ribbon Diamond Satin The Photo's are from June 2016 and were taken at Woodward lake in California. Miesha met a friend and his name was Bo! hehehe they had so much fun playing in the water.

hope you enjoyed my post for today, as I truly enjoyed creating my layout for today using the the beautiful NEW Lagoon Collection! Please let me know what you think as I always enjoy reading your wonderful comments!

Wishing you all the best.

Hello crafty friends and Happy Friday to you all!
Today I have a card I created using the Beautiful Lagoon Deluxe Scrap Kit from Club Scrap , and designed it for Really Reasonable Ribbons Challenge this week, anything goes with ribbon or trim! I thought Really Reasonable Ribbons Diamond Satin went perfectly with the colors on my card.

To start with I stamped the club scrap greenery stamp in green inks and then colored. Next I wanted to airbrush the water, it had been a long time since ive done this. Not sure it came out like I wanted, but im still happy with the results. I used 3 different copics to airbrush with. Next I stamped the sentiment in black ink, and then the fish as well. He is colored with copics, and then added some glitz to him and fussy cut him out.

The layers of design papers are from the 12" x 12" design paper pattern for the bottom layer, then the second layer is from the 8 1/2" x 11" design paper.

The dies I used are from Cheery Lynn, I used 3 different ones for the layering on top of my card.

Pearls , Ribbon, and Foam squares are from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

Thank you for stopping by and taking a peek at my card for today! I hope you will join us over at Really Reasonable Ribbon for this weeks challenge.
Hugs to all,

Childhood Memories Layout

Hello everyone, and Happy Thursday to all!
Today I'm sharing a super sweet Layout I made for Really Reasonable Ribbon using the beautiful Ribbon, Embellishments, and Scor-Tape they carry in their shop. Love how this sweet layout of my 3 kids turned out. This one photo was taken back in 1997 when they were all little, and love how it goes perfectly with the design paper too!

I really enjoyed creating this layout for todays post. It was fun trying the different design papers and getting everything laid out. I love the colors/prints I chose to use on this one. All the flowers and dies are from Cheery Lynn Designs, and all the centers of the flowers are embellishments from RRR. I will list right below.

Really Reasonable Ribbon Supplies Used:

Its so much fun to add the photo's to layouts that we create, sometimes I don't add photo's, as im not sure what ones I want, or I haven't printed them yet, however this one was set aside for this collection of paper, and it brought back so many wonderful memories of this time when they were young, miss those days. Now they are all grown and have their own lives.

I ran the gingham ribbon down the center of my one banner layer in kinda the middle of the page, then added a bow. Next I chose to use the Red polka dot satin and made another bow to scrunch in the center of my black gingham bow.

Flowers were cut using the coordinating dp from the Mother Goose collection. I added the embellishments to all flowers, and also distressed them using ink.  My one covered button I distressed it yellow, as I didn't have a yellow one to use.
Flowers/ Flourishes, Doily are all Cheery Lynn Beautiful Dies. LOVE these

Thank you for stopping by, and have a lovely day!
Hugs to all,

Hello everyone and Happy Wednesday to you all! Today I'm super excited to share with you all some of the dies from the Sweet New Veriloquent Vintage Cheery Lynn Release. LOVE LOVE LOVE this release!!! There are so many beautiful vintage dies in this release, and this card here shows 4 of them. I will list them all below for you :)

B881 Old Leather Books ( I chose to use them up at the top as banners)
B888 Flourish Frame ( small frame used for the sentiment)
B886 Vintage Tile(used behind the hot air balloon)
B897 Vintage Hot air balloon

On my card I chose to use some design papers from Graphic45 as I thought this would match perfectly, as there is a hot air balloon on the design paper. this is the come away with me paper stack. Next I LOVE all the dies in this collection, and figured I would try to use as many as I could on this card. I added some liquid Viva Pearls to the hot air balloon, and the books. I wanted to do something different with the books, so I used them as banners on my card :) I truly enjoyed creating this one, and hope you enjoyed my post for today :)
