Sweet Cupcake Birthday wishes

 

Hello everyone, today I'm sharing a short post. This card I made last minute for my mom to give to my granddaughter for her 6th birthday. The stamp set I used is an Oldie but such a cutie, I love it! Ive had this set for many years, its from Queen Kat Designs

This card was super easy to make, I just did 2 layers, and then punched out my scalloped circle and circle. Next I stamped with craft ink my cupcake liner, and then the cupcake icing on design papers, and used clear embossing powered and heat embossed them both. I added some of my dew drops from The Robins Nest , and then Really Reasonable Ribbon. Lastly I stamped the sentiment and used stampinup! punch for the sentiment and scallop behind sentiment. Super easy!

Sweets!!

I designed this card using this darling set called Build a Sweet from Queen Kat Designs!! Also stop by the QKD shop to check out the Awesome sales going on right now!! :) Have fun shopping, and I almost forgot if you inter code cw10 at checkout you will receive 10% off you order, so have fun!!! :) On my card I stamped the icecream top on pink polka dotted design paper, and then cut it out. Next I stamped the bottom of the icecream cone on white cardstock, and then used choc chip, and close to cocoa su pens to outline and color in. I did stamp the cherry along the bottom of this card, and on the circle tag! The ribbon along the side has little tiny brads in the center of each flower. aren't you sweet!!

Here is another card I designed with the same darling flower stamp set from Queen Kat Design. This set is due for release on Jan 1st, and is toooo sweeet!!! I did use the aren't you sweet sentiment on the outside of this one so everyone could see. This set does include 2 sentiments, and the flower stamp. Also right now the Queen Kat store is having a huge sale, you will have to go and check it out!! Have fun tooo!

On this card I did stamp the flowers in craft black ink and used clear embossing powder, and then heated. I used real red su marker to make polka dots in a few of the flowers. And pretty in pink in the others. I also used certainly celery to go over allt he steams, and leaves. I used my large marvey punch to punch out the flowers, and then just mounted that on black and cut it out. The dp is double sided, and sooo sweet! I then just stamped the sentiment on the bottom, and added my ribbon treatment to the top, with a white heart shaped button!

I designed this card with my new set from QKD this set will be released Jan 1st!!!

On this card I stamped these darling flowers in Kiwi Kiss. I then outlined them in different SU pen colors.

Next I did run the 2 different white panels through the cuddlebug with the swiss dots cb folder. I then used the die to cut the one and the other I used as a background for the card. I also used dazzling diamonds on the flowers. And then added a flower button to my ribbon treatment!!

The inside will say" Thanks so much", this saying is also included in this stamp set!!

My hubby just ordered me these Spellbinders Dies. he bought me 2 sets, cant wait to make time to use the other set as well!! Thank You hunny!!!!!

Just Whalin' Around/Negative effect inked+embossed

Hi everyone, today I decided to show you this technique. Its Negative effect inked+embossed. I tried to keep my card as simple as possible to show you what the background looks like with this technique. What you will want to do is get a cuddlebug folder, and take your ink pad and rub it across either the bottom or top part of your folder. In this case I did the bottom part. Then lay your paper to be embossed and run it through your machine, just like normal. On this card I did add corner pieces that i cut after i used the corner punch on them. This darling Whale is from Queen Kat Designs, and I stamped her on su dp. She is stamped 2 times, once on the white and then on the pink dp. I also used dazzling diamonds on her waterspout.LOL Not sure what that is called...LOL anyways What do you think ???????? Hugs, Cheryl

Alley Kat "You're in My Thoughts"

This card was designed for tuesdays

color challenge. We were to use Going gray,very vanilla, and really rust. I didnt have very vanilla, or the going gray, so I used a snowflake dp that is gray, and I use white in place of very vanilla.On my card I used the Alley Kat stamp that will be released soon from Queen Kat Designs. She is embossed with ebossing bridal tinsel. I also used the sentiment that was released this month from QKD as well, and its from the "You're My Set"I have wanted this swiss dott cb folder forever now, and finally found it at joannes last night , so I bought it :) I embossed the gray background and the larger cutout, and Alley Kat as well. The shapes are from the cricut machine. I want those new shaped nesties, so hopefully hubby will get me those soon :) LOL

The ribbon is just cut and tied in a knot. I then added a heart button. On the flowers I added pearls and a butterfly that was on a strand of ribbon. I just cut one off.

Butterflies are like flowers

This is my card that I designed for todays Inspiration Challenge that can be found here . I used this bedding for my Inspiration.

On my card I tried to do layers like the sham had on it. I then added this darling butterfly. I stamped the butterfly with certainly celery, and then watercolored with pink(watercoloring pencil). I then added dazzling diamonds. I also added the gem butterflies by the sentiment. Thank you for looking and have a wonderful weekend!!! Im off to bed :)

Yummy Cupcake!!!!

I just had to make one more of these cute cupcake cards. :) On this one I just used striped pink and white cardstock, and then polka dots. The top of the cupcake was stamped on white with craft choc chip ink, and then embossed with clear embossing powder. next I added little dots with a glue pen, and added dazzling diamonds to them. The bottom of the cupcake was stamped on choc chip paper, and I did the same embossing to it, as I did to the top. I then added pink little flowers, with gems in the center. Just Whaling Around!!

This whale set is from Queen Kat Designs, and she is sooooooo cute!!!! I love this set!!! The background on this card is done with bashful blue on the inside of the cb folder called(Friend Ami) I then added a strip of SU dp down the middle of this card.The whale was stamped 2 times, and cut out once!! I love this set, its sooooooo darling!!!

My Daughter Breanna loves these cards, she goes to a ton of birthday parties, and I figured I better have them ready :) she gave my cone card away friday nite, so I will be making another icecream cone card. Its a good thing I have cards ready, because she lets me know about these parties like the day before they are...LOL She tooo cute!!!!!

Some assembly Required!!!

I love this set!!! :) This set is from Queen Kat Designs Its called Build a Snowman!! The hat, scarf,buttons,face arms all are seperate stamps. So I thought I would put him together, but leave off his clothes...lol So he would need some assembly :) Tooo cute!!! Right now Queen Kat Designs is having a huge sale, so you will have to go check out her store!!! Anyways on this card I did the snowflake cb for the background, I inked up the inside of the folder with pink pirouette. Next I used black scallops,pink pirouette paper,white, and SU bella rose dp, to make the panel behind my miss snowlady :) I then stamped her on white, and ran her through the cuddlebug in the swirls folder with it inked up in pink pirouette. then I added her buttons,face, and arms, and cut her out. next I stamped the hat and scarf, I added dazzling diamonds to them, and miss snowlady. Brrr.... It's cold outside

I designed this card using the stamp set Build a snowman, from Queen Kat Designs. I love this set soooo much, i think this snowman is darling!!!!

On my card I used the cuddlebug for the white background, the folder I used was the snowflake one, I inked it up on the inside, to get the color on the snowflakes. Next I stamped the scarf, and buttons for the panel that is behind the snowman. On my snowman, I used a glue pen to outline him, and add dots to him. Then I added dazzling diamonds. I used the same on the hat and scarf that he is wearing. I used brown sheer ribbon, and I dyed the white ribbon with bashful blue. all paper is SU choc chip, bashful blue, and white!!!! This is my second card for todays Inspiration challenge over at SCS. My 1st card is right below this one, you will have to check that one out as well. Its a Icecream cone card!!:)

Anyways I got my Inspiration for this card from the colors red,and white!!

I used swirls folder for the white background on this , and ran it through the cuddlebug. Next I stamped cherries to create cherry paper, I love cherries!!! I stamped the top of the cupcake, and the bottom of the cupcake on white paper, and used craft black ink, and clear embossing powder on both. Next I colored the cherry, and the bottom of the cupcake in real red ink. I outlined with a glue pen, and then added dazzling diamonds. The hearts, and the flower came out of a button pack. and the bow has a gold button on it!! Thanks for looking, have a wonderful day!!!!!

This is my card for todays Inspiration challenge, I used this darling stamp set from Queen Kat Designs called "Build a Sweet"!! On my card I used pink and brown,and white, and added red for the cherries. The stamp I used is two seperates that are in a set. so I stamped the cone on choc chip and heat embossed with clear embossing powder. Next I stamped the top on dp,and colored the cherrry with real red. I stamped another cherry on the little circle, and added dazzling diamonds to it. The ribbon I used is sheer, and one is white, and the other I dyed pink pirouette. I also added 3 little gem stones to the bottom of my card!! Thanks for looking!!! :)
