I then glued on the carnations, cherry blossom and lastly the sweetheart blossom to complete my decorating. The box I had premade, as I like to have some things ready to go when I need them. I left the tag off, as Im not sure what gift will go in this yet, so at least I will have it ready to go when I need.

Decorated Jar for Halloween

Hello crafty friends and Happy Monday to you all! Today I'm sharing a fun little jar I decorated for Halloween using the beautiful ribbon and twine from Really Reasonable Ribbon

I used a jar that holds my dew drops to decorate as it's nice to have them in the craft room to see. I tied the Quatrefoil ribbon in black around the top of the jar, an then hot glued my bow I made. Next I tied the happy Halloween tag using the orange twine, and then stuck some 3-D stickers to the front of the jar. This would be cute on a plan jar for holding candies too. I also made a bow out of the twine and tied it to the back.

Beary cute photo frame

Hello crafty friends and Happy Friday to you all! DT Member Cheryl here with a fun little project I did. I took one of these old old frames my mom gave me and redid it and added some seam bindings and flowers to her.

To start I took the original eyes off of her, as they were little circle dots, and added some paper ones I had cut out on the cricut a long time ago. I then smoothed down the nose to get rid of the red using a crafting sanding block and colored it pink. Next I added the pink heart on top.

For the ears I used brown seam binding that I ruched up and hot glued on her ears. and for her big bow I used the Rose Petal Seam Binding ruched up and made into a bow, then I added some flowers and then the baby pink seam binding to the top of the bow. Love how it turned out. I also added some chalking to the cheeks and eyes, and then dots to the cheeks and muzzle . I also distressed the outside of the entire frame.

This is the original.

Thank you so much for stopping by and have a lovely day! Hugs to all, Cheryl

For my Layout today I chose to use Echo Park design paper, Bazzill card stock, and American crafts card stock for the layers. Next I chose Really Reasonable Ribbon to run across my mats, I used the beautiful satin ribbon for fall, it's called Modern Autumn Leaves on Satin, you can see in my photo below. In the photo above you can see the Gold and Copper Diamond Grosgrain ribbon I used on the tag. To put the layers together I used lots of scor-tape , and glue. My Crow, and Moose are the darling SVG files from KaDoodle Bug Design and I had these put together from last year. Its nice when you have SVG pieces already made up to use on projects, so I love that!
