I wanted to show you a tutorial on how I use Alcohol inks on this Rose! Also one of my cards from last weeks challenge was picked for the Shining Star Award for this week!!!
This technique is super fun and easy, and you dont have to worry about getting the shading all wrong. I love the look of the Alcohol inks with this technique and im sure you will too!!
first I used tattered rose and the blending solution on my tool. Next I took the Fire Brick and more solution on a different pad and dabbed over the rose. The sponge I used to soak up excess ink.
On the leaves I used a copic marker to color super fast for my base coat. Then dapped with Peeled Paint Distress ink and solution on another new pad.(you can keep these pads a reuse them)
Here is a picture with the Distressed ink and use the sponge to soak up extra.
Picture below shows me adding the gold to the veins of the leaves.
Here is a link to the Distressed inks to view other colors, and Marti always has these for super cheap!!!
Hugs,
cheryl

I've never seen the alcohol ink technique done for anything except a background. It looks fab on your images. Gives them lots of interest. Congrats on your Shining Star selection.
Congratulations on the shining star award! Love your card.

are these distress inks re-inkers or the actual adirondack alcohol inks?
