Today's card is for The Project Bin using another Beautiful Sentiment from the "Luke 2" stamp set.
I am loving creating all my Christmas cards this year. Its so much fun to think of some different color schemes and layouts. Of course I always have my go to sketch :) hehehe but sometimes I do try to think of some others :)
So for my card today, I chose to use the Sentiment from Luke 2, and stamped it in Tim Holtz Black Soot, using the Mini Misti tool. Love the results from using this tool. Next I chose to use Cheery Lynn's Poinsettia Strip, and wow how these flowers just POP! For the centers I used brads from AC, and I also used Really Reasonable Ribbons Wild Orchid Craft Bead Berry Spray Clusters. for layering. The branches are Martha Stewart Punch. I used also Graphic45 Christmas Past Collection. I also used American Crafts Black card stock, and added some white gel dots around each layer.
Card Base Measures 5 1/2" x 5 1/2"
Layer 1- black card stock cut at 5 1/4" x 5 1/4", then stripes cut at 5" x 5"
Layer 2- black cut at 4 1/4" 4 1/4", then leaf design cut at4" x 4"
Layer 3 - black cut at 4 1/2" x 3 1/4" , then the snowflake design cut at 4 1/4" x 3"
Layer 4- is spellbinders oval dies, cut black card stock, and then for the oval I used the graphic45 coordinating design paper. I did stamp on it in Black Soot ink.
Layer 5- consist of Cheery Lyn Poinsettia's, Martha Stewart Branches, RRR Berry clusters, and red glitter brads.
Thank you for looking and have a lovely day!
hugs to all,
Cheryl
